Join the ServerThis human… was she mocking her for peeping?
Su Li had only recently taken human form, but she was not foolish.
She immediately understood the meaning behind Liu Feng’s words.
Glancing at Liu Qiu, who was still confined across someone else’s legs, Su Li’s eyes reddened, crystal tears pooling within them.
“I—I—I just…”
She looked utterly flustered, so nervous she could not even speak clearly.
The corners of Liu Feng’s lips curved upward.
“Sao-sao, you mustn’t speak carelessly in the future.”
Liu Feng withdrew her gaze from Su Li and lowered her eyes to look at Liu Qiu again.
Liu Qiu seemed to be staring at Su Li in a daze, her gaze unfocused.
She truly was lost in thought.
She was wondering whether Su Li had been able to see her from the very beginning.
That night’s self-defense… had Su Li deliberately let her see it?
If that were the case, then Su Li was not as simple as she had imagined.
“Sickly one, what are you spacing out for?”
Liu Huang’s voice sounded beside her ear.
Liu Qiu snapped back to her senses and parted her lips slightly.
“Ah, I—”
Before she could finish, her cheek was pinched.
The roughness of the touch made her instantly know who it was.
Liu Qiu blinked, unsure what Liu Huang intended.
Liu Huang narrowed her eyes, staring at Liu Qiu’s parted lips, while the corner of her vision caught Su Li’s gaze fixed on them from outside the window.
A provocative chuckle escaped her.
Then she suddenly lowered her head and, in front of the other two, sealed Liu Qiu’s lips with her own.
A cold breath flowed between their lips and teeth, spreading through her body and into her limbs.
At the same time, a strand of breath seemed to be drawn out from her mouth.
Liu Huang bit down lightly on Liu Qiu’s lip.
So the sickly one really could absorb yang energy.
[Green Hat Value +5]
Liu Qiu was completely stunned.
Not because of Liu Huang’s action, but because of her own body.
When Liu Huang kissed her, a sense of craving surged up from within.
She wanted the living’s yang energy.
The moment that thought arose, Liu Qiu abruptly pushed Liu Huang away and slapped her across the face.
The slap was forceful.
A red mark immediately appeared on Liu Huang’s cheek.
Liu Huang touched her face and stared at Liu Qiu’s lips with terrifying intensity.
It was addictive.
Soft and cold, yet faintly sweet.
“Sao-sao truly sees nothing?”
At that moment, Liu Feng’s voice sounded.
Liu Qiu’s chin was grasped and her head turned, and once again her lips were claimed.
This time, it was Liu Feng.
[Green Hat Value +5]
Liu Qiu’s fingers clenched tightly.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Su Li staring at them without blinking.
Liu Qiu blinked, and tears slid down uncontrollably.
What kind of broken plot was this?
How had it derailed so badly?
Liu Feng’s kiss was lighter and gentler.
Before Liu Qiu could push her away, she withdrew of her own accord, the corners of her lips lifting into a faint smile.
“Qiu-jiejie, how delicious.”
Pinned across Liu Huang’s legs, with Liu Feng pressed against her from behind, the twin sisters were utterly insane.
She did not know why she could not return to the puppet’s body, nor could she turn intangible.
She could only remain trapped in Liu Huang’s arms.
Liu Qiu could not help but sob softly.
“Y-you two… stop bullying me, alright?”
She was crying because of the absurd direction the plot had taken.
Why on earth were they kissing a ghost?
And Su Li was still watching from the side.
The steadily increasing progress bar was the clearest proof that Su Li could see everything.
Liu Feng lifted a strand of Liu Qiu’s long hair.
“Qiu-jiejie, we’re passing you yang energy. Don’t you like it?”
Oh, so that was what they called it.
Who even wanted it?
Liu Qiu’s tears flowed harder.
Biting her lip, she turned her head toward Su Li, who still stood at the window.
“I don’t want you. I—I want my wife.”
Su Li’s hands clenched into fists.
Her eyes were so red they seemed ready to bleed.
Damn it.
Wasn’t Liu Qiu a ghost?
Why couldn’t she turn into a phantom and become untouchable to humans?
Was it because of that spell?
Su Li trembled with rage.
Liu Qiu had said she wanted her.
Did those wicked twins not understand human speech?
Coveting their own sister and another’s wife—humans were more vile than demons.
She wanted nothing more than to rush inside and kill the twins, then take the puppet that bound Liu Qiu and leave.
The surging killing intent nearly drowned her.
But she forced herself to suppress it.
Her injuries had not yet healed.
If she killed them and left behind demonic aura, it might attract Daoists.
And… for now, she could not let that human notice anything abnormal.
“S-see what?”
Su Li’s expression turned timid, as if she truly did not understand what Liu Feng meant.
Inside the room, Liu Feng chuckled softly.
“Nothing. Sao-sao, have you finished packing your things?”
“We won’t depart for another four days.”
Su Li nodded and replied quietly, “Understood.”
Tears still clung to her lashes, making her look pitiful.
Liu Qiu stared blankly.
She did not understand why Su Li continued pretending not to see her.
Su Li was clearly a demon…
Right.
A demon.
She probably did not want to expose her identity.
Su Li was so timid.
Looking at Su Li’s pale little face, Liu Qiu lowered her lashes.
Because she was a demon… perhaps.
Liu Feng walked to the window.
“Sao-sao, go attend to your matters. Don’t linger here.”
She slowly closed the window, blocking the view outside.
Even with the window shut and sunlight still filtering in, the room felt inexplicably cold.
Liu Huang placed Liu Qiu back on the bed.
“Sickly one, stop crying.”
“You’re a ghost. Why are you so fragile?”
“I’m asking you—don’t you feel your soul growing stronger?”
Liu Huang cupped Liu Qiu’s face and wiped her tears with her thumb.
She had not meant to make her cry.
She had simply lost control and kissed her without thinking.
If the sickly one kept crying like this, she might lose control again.
As she wiped her tears, her fingers pressed against Liu Qiu’s soft lips.
When they lacked color, they had already looked plump.
Now that they were flushed, they appeared even fuller and more tempting.
When she pressed them, the lips dented slightly.
“Stop crying. I’ll take you into town.”
Just then, knocking sounded outside.
“Second girl, third girl, Li girl said something happened to you? What happened?”
Fang Lian’s hoarse yet anxious voice carried through the door.
Liu Huang clicked her tongue, dissatisfaction toward Su Li reaching its peak.
She knew their mother was grief-stricken, yet still troubled her with such matters.
Releasing Liu Qiu, Liu Huang stood and walked toward the door.
“Mother, Sister and I are fine.”
Liu Feng had already gone to open it.
The moment the door opened, Fang Lian’s weathered, darkened face entered Liu Qiu’s sight.
It had only been a few days, yet Fang Lian seemed to have aged years.
Deep sorrow filled her brows.
Just looking at her made Liu Qiu’s chest ache.
Though she had not spent long with Fang Lian, the woman had truly cared for her attentively.
Kind people always stirred others’ emotions more easily.
Liu Qiu’s nose felt sour.
If her own parents knew she had died, would they look like Fang Lian—so heartbroken and inconsolable?
[System, can I see how my mom and dad are doing right now?]
The system sighed.
[Host, I can show you… but are you sure you want to see?]
Looking at Fang Lian’s appearance, Liu Qiu pressed her lips together.
[Forget it. I won’t look.]
She was afraid she would break down if she did.
She shook her head, forcing her emotions down.
She could accumulate enough energy to return home.
With Liu Huang no longer restraining her, she found she could return to the puppet’s body again.
Seeing the sisters still speaking with Fang Lian, Liu Qiu floated out of the room.
She could not stray too far from the puppet.
Though she could control it to walk, if anyone saw, it would likely be burned immediately.
But the moment she floated out, a hand seized her.
Her breath hitched.
Wasn’t she a ghost?
Why did it feel like everyone could see and touch her?
“Wife.”
Only Su Li called her that.
Liu Qiu fell into a warm embrace.
Her waist was tightly bound, the back of her neck held.
She lifted her head, eyes widening.
“You—”
Before she could finish, her lips were sealed.
Su Li’s kiss was fierce and overwhelming, as if she had finally found long-sought nectar and was greedily drinking her fill.
“Mm—Su—”
Su Li gave her no chance to breathe, continuing to kiss her relentlessly.
Liu Qiu pressed against Su Li’s shoulders, trying to push her away.
Sensing her resistance, Su Li paused and withdrew from her mouth.
Liu Qiu frowned, her pale face still devoid of blush.
“What are you doing?”
Her tone had changed.
Su Li noticed immediately.
Why?
Because she had pretended not to see her?
Su Li took Liu Qiu’s hand and pressed it against her own cheek.
Blinking, tears streamed down.
“Wife, are you blaming me for deceiving you?”
Liu Qiu looked away awkwardly.
“You’re a demon. That night, you let me find out on purpose. And you could see me from the beginning, couldn’t you?”
She spoke softly.
Though they were behind a wall, the sisters were still nearby.
It was inexplicably embarrassing.
They had just been kissing while Su Li watched.
Su Li nodded slowly.
Her tears fell harder, her cheeks flushing red.
“I—I just didn’t know how to tell you.”
“I was afraid you’d fear me. I was afraid if others found out I’m a demon, they’d call Daoists to kill me.”
“Wife, I’m sorry you were humiliated like that.”
Su Li was beautiful.
Fair skin, large eyes, small mouth.
Her eyes were long and enchanting, her features alluring.
Yet the youthful innocence in her brows made her seem naive.
Liu Qiu truly did not know how to deal with her.
She took a deep breath, turned back, and patted Su Li’s shoulder.
“It’s not your fault. Even if you’re a demon, I won’t dislike you.”
“Next time, don’t be so sudden, little fox.”
By saying that, she made it clear she knew what kind of demon Su Li was.
That kiss had left her legs weak.
Her soul felt strangely more sensitive.
Su Li sniffled softly and buried her face in Liu Qiu’s embrace, greedily inhaling her scent.
“Wife, I won’t blame you for betraying me. I know you were cursed.”
“They’re too evil.”
“Wife, I’ll save you. Give me a drop of your qi, alright?”
Her waist was held tightly.
“Fine. I’ll give it to you. Let go of me first.”
Su Li lifted her head and kissed Liu Qiu’s neck.
Then she knelt before her, hugging her and pressing her face against her.
“Wife, give it to me.”
Liu Qiu could not help pressing a hand against Su Li’s hair, her expression turning strange.
“Little fox! What are you doing?”
Su Li licked lightly, then looked up at her with tear-filled eyes.
“Wife, the qi here is the purest. I want this. You promised to give it to me.”
Liu Qiu lowered her head, her long hair slipping down.
She had not realized this was what Su Li meant.
She had thought it was something else.
The refusal on her lips dissolved when she saw those tear-bright eyes, and she changed her words instead.
“At least not here.”
No one could see her, but it was broad daylight, and they were against Liu Feng’s wall.
It was far too shameless.
She believed the little fox could save her.
And she did not reject doing such things with her.
But even so, there should at least be a bed.
Su Li frowned pitifully.
“But Wife can’t go far.”
“Forget it. If Wife doesn’t want to, I won’t force you.”
Liu Qiu’s brows twisted together.
If she stayed inside the puppet, today’s events might repeat.
She took a deep breath.
“D-do it.”
Those twin sisters were insane.
It was better to leave.
Su Li’s eyes narrowed.
She lifted Liu Qiu’s skirt and slipped beneath it.
Liu Qiu pressed her hand firmly against Su Li’s head.
“D-don’t—mm.”
She wasn’t ready.
How perverse.
“Ah… stop.”
Her eyes flew open, tears welling.
Her fingers curled.
What was that?
Why did Su Li’s tongue feel—
“No.”
It felt strange.
It hadn’t been like this before.
Liu Qiu went limp, covering her mouth to stifle any embarrassing sounds.
Mad… and fluffy too.
What on earth was that?
