Chapter 76: Nowhere to Run

Perhaps because he had been breathing out hot breaths for so long, simply slipping his tongue into Chae Woo-seok’s mouth made it feel as though it might melt away.

As the wind gradually dried the sweat on his skin and his body began to cool, he found himself helplessly craving warmth. He pushed his tongue into the narrow gap, seeking the comfortable depths within, trying to forget the chill in the searing heat.

“Haah.”

The awkward position of lying half on his side shifted in an instant. Soft sand pressed against Go Ha-jin’s back, and a solid weight settled over him, blocking the wind.

As if that still was not enough, arms slipped beneath the back of his neck and lower back, wrapping around his entire body.

Even more overwhelming was the warm flesh pressing insistently into Go Ha-jin’s mouth. As though all restraint had already been worn away, it thrust deep inside at once.

Firm with tension, it felt almost like an entirely different part of the body, hard and heavy enough to fill his mouth completely. The more he accepted it and rubbed their tongues together instead of resisting, the lingering cold faded away.

In its place, an ever-deepening warmth began to boil through him.

“What brought this on all of a sudden?”

Only after a long while did Chae Woo-seok finally pull away. Go Ha-jin had no idea how much time had passed while they lost themselves in the kiss.

All he knew was that the breath spilling into his lungs after Woo-seok’s lips left his tasted strangely sweet, enough to make him think it must have been quite a while.

“Y-You’re the one who climbed on top of me…?”

“You stole a kiss from me first, Ha-jin.”

“Stole it? Come on, it’s not like it was such a big deal…”

How embarrassing.

Even without Woo-seok listing everything he had done one by one, he was already berating himself. Why had he kissed Chae Woo-seok in that moment? But it had also felt unavoidable. At that instant, Woo-seok had seemed impossibly radiant.

Like a tiny flame blooming in the darkness, he had drawn Ha-jin’s eyes without fail. It felt as though he would suffocate if he did not kiss him immediately. There had been no way to suppress the impulse.

“Could you get off me first…?”

Chae Woo-seok was still straddling him. Only the arm supporting the back of Ha-jin’s neck had shifted to brace itself against the sand, but the distance between them remained absurdly close.

Close enough that their noses might brush together, close enough that every word Woo-seok spoke carried lingering warmth across Ha-jin’s lips.

“I suppose I should.”

Strange.

This was someone who usually contradicted Go Ha-jin first and ignored what he wanted, yet now he obeyed without complaint. The weight pinning him down vanished in an instant as Woo-seok stepped back, then grabbed Ha-jin’s forearm and helped him up from the sand.

“What? Where are we going now?”

“You said this wasn’t the place.”

As though struck by sudden urgency, he started walking. His grip on Ha-jin’s wrist was tight, like a beast carrying off prey it had finally caught after a grueling chase. It did not take long for Ha-jin to realize what nonsense Woo-seok had actually meant.

“W-Why…?”

Their brisk walk ended where they had parked the car earlier. Woo-seok pushed him until the backs of his thighs bumped against the hood, then planted himself in front of him as though cutting off every avenue of escape.

Something about the dangerous look in his eyes made Ha-jin instinctively lean back, steadying himself with a hand on the hood.

“Look at you pretending not to know while climbing up there on your own. You’re sneakier than you seem.”

Perhaps “ambush” was the better word. Still smiling, Chae Woo-seok abruptly leaned over him, closing the distance. His destination was Ha-jin’s neck. He pressed a kiss against the exposed skin just above the collar of his shirt.

“W-Wait, we’re outside-”

Before Ha-jin could finish protesting, a hand slipped beneath his clothes and seized his chest. The broad palm enclosed both the small amount of soft flesh there and the sensitive peak beneath it in one grasp. His other hand moved to the buckle at Ha-jin’s waist.

The sudden rush of sensation left Go Ha-jin’s thoughts in disarray.

‘This is wrong. We’re outside. After everything that happened these past two days, this isn’t the time…’

The thoughts scattered almost as soon as they formed.

“Hngh… g-gently…!”

As his shirt was pushed upward and lips brushed against his chest, the distractions threatening to surface sank away once more. Only the mounting rush of excitement remained.

Drip.

Just as Chae Woo-seok was about to release his grip, a single droplet landed on the hood with a soft tap. Another followed, then two more in quick succession. It was hardly the sort of weather that promised rain.

Tracing the source of the falling drops, Woo-seok let out a disbelieving laugh. Despite the tearful tone of Ha-jin’s voice, unmistakable evidence of his a*ousal was trickling down and dripping onto the metal beneath them.

“So you’re acting again. Are you really having that hard a time?”

“Ah…!”

Releasing him, Woo-seok shifted his touch, and Ha-jin’s legs gave way as he sagged against the car. The sudden loss of strength left him clinging unsteadily where he stood, his body trembling.

“Come over here.”

With a curling motion of his hand, Woo-seok beckoned him closer. Go Ha-jin knew he could simply stay where he was and refuse, yet before he realized it, he found himself bracing with his elbows and feet and inching toward the direction Woo-seok guided him.

Every time he drifted back, he unconsciously leaned forward again. Step by hesitant step, he followed until he reached the sloping curve of the vehicle where his feet nearly slipped onto the ground.

Ziiip.

The sound of a zipper echoed through the quiet.

“I’ll make sure you can’t think about anything else today.”

By then, there was scarcely a coherent thought left in Ha-jin’s mind. He could only register the sensations before his eyes and beneath his skin. His gaze remained fixed on Woo-seok as he bent closer, every movement seeming strangely slow, almost unreal.

If he were honest… there was even a trace of anticipation.

“Ah… slowly…!”

“Relax. You’re too tense.”

As soon as they touched, the remaining distance disappeared almost of its own accord. Go Ha-jin instinctively arched his back to make it easier for Woo-seok to draw near, while Woo-seok seemed pulled toward him as irresistibly as iron to a magnet.

A faint sting accompanied the closeness, but it was overwhelmed by a rush of excitement twice as strong.

“Hng…!”

“We’re outside. Are you really going to make that much noise? What if someone comes by?”

Ha-jin barely heard him. Woo-seok drew close until their thighs nearly brushed, then eased back as though to pull away before closing the distance again in one decisive motion.

The intensity from the very beginning left Ha-jin dizzy, making it impossible to suppress the sounds escaping him.

The position soon became awkward for Woo-seok. He adjusted their stance, drawing Ha-jin nearer until they were supporting each other more naturally. The precarious angle left Ha-jin feeling as though he might lose his balance at any moment, clinging to Woo-seok for support.

“You don’t have to rush. I’m not going anywhere, so calm down.”

“I-I’m going to fall…!”

Even so, Woo-seok thought Ha-jin looked prettier like this. Watching the anxious expression turned toward him, he moved with renewed urgency. Whenever he leaned close enough to brush a teasing touch across Ha-jin’s chest, Ha-jin reacted with another involuntary shiver.

“Ah… wait…”

Each movement was forceful enough to make the parked car rock ever so slightly. The repeated jolts left flashes dancing across Ha-jin’s vision.

Somewhere amid the overwhelming tide of sensation, he felt as though he had already reached a peak once, though he could not be certain whether it had truly happened or merely felt that way.

“Looks like quite a flood down there.”

Woo-seok noticed it more clearly than Ha-jin himself. The moisture already gathered between them only heightened every sound and every point of contact. Ha-jin reached up, catching the hand that had been gripping at his chest and drawing it toward his lips.

He wrapped his lips around Woo-seok’s index finger almost absentmindedly.

“…Ha. Damn.”

How someone with so little experience could behave so instinctively left Woo-seok genuinely shaken. The sensation of that gentle warmth nearly unraveled the last of his composure.

Unable to resist, he lightly traced Ha-jin’s tongue with his fingertips while pulling him close once more.

“Mm…!”

“Hah…”

The release came to both of them almost at the same moment. Even afterward, Ha-jin continued absentmindedly holding Woo-seok’s finger between his lips, drawing another quiet reaction from him.

“Go Ha-jin.”

“Haa… haa…”

As their breathing slowly steadied, Woo-seok called his name in a low voice.

“Ha-jin.”

Receiving no answer, he tried again with a softer form of address. Sure enough, the haze faded from Ha-jin’s eyes as he looked back at him.

“Really…”

“Who taught you to suck on someone’s finger like that?”

“…”

“Who was it? Were you cheating on me behind my back?”

“N-No!”

Just moments ago he had acted so boldly, yet now embarrassment robbed him of any proper reply. Woo-seok already knew the accusation was absurd. He had no evidence, only complete confidence that Ha-jin would never do such a thing.

It was nothing more than teasing, because every time Ha-jin became flustered…

“W-Why are you getting even more excited…?!”

…Woo-seok found himself even more amused by the reaction.

“One more time, then let’s get into the car.”

The air surrounding them now felt entirely different from when they had first arrived. The method might have been unusual, but somehow the turmoil weighing on their minds seemed certain to ease by tomorrow.

One of them silently thought the same thing.

‘Thank goodness you’re here with me.’
