Chapter 104: Disgust

Liu Qiu felt like she was drunk, yet also not completely drunk, because she could still see clearly and walk steadily.

Looking at the tall, thin figure beside her, Liu Qiu asked, “Fu… Fu Jinyin, how did you find me?”

Fu Jinyin didn’t answer.

She opened the apartment door and gestured for Liu Qiu to go inside.

But Liu Qiu remained standing where she was.

“Why… didn’t you come see me these past two days?” she asked again.

“I’m not blaming you. I’m just… asking.”

Fu Jinyin stayed silent, tugged lightly at Liu Qiu’s sleeve, and tried to pull her into the room.

But she hadn’t expected Liu Qiu’s body to be so unsteady.

She had barely used any force when Liu Qiu suddenly tipped sideways.

Fu Jinyin immediately reached out and caught her.

Pressing her lips together, she carried Liu Qiu inside.

Liu Qiu blinked slowly and instinctively rubbed her cheek against the cool, soft skin pressed against it.

Fu Jinyin’s long lashes trembled.

“Liu Qiu… don’t do that,” she said quietly.

But Liu Qiu couldn’t hear her clearly.

A sudden wave of dizziness flooded her head, and her consciousness began to blur.

The alcohol she had drunk was finally starting to take effect.

Fu Jinyin placed her on the sofa and then let go.

Liu Qiu sat quietly, hands resting on her knees, staring at Fu Jinyin with hazy eyes.

Fu Jinyin looked at her for a long moment.

Then she slowly reached out and wrapped her fingers around Liu Qiu’s neck.

The skin beneath her palm was burning hot.

She could feel the strong pulse beating there.

Her grip tightened slightly, and a dark emotion flickered through Fu Jinyin’s pale eyes.

But she couldn’t bring herself to apply real force.

Just a week ago, she wouldn’t have hesitated like this.

“So hot…” Liu Qiu’s hoarse, slightly suggestive voice sounded beside her ear.

Fu Jinyin’s dry eyes shifted downward.

Liu Qiu had grabbed her hand.

“Fu… Fu Jinyin… I’m hot.”

“I want to take a shower.”

Fu Jinyin suddenly shook off Liu Qiu’s fingers and abruptly stood up.

Her gaze darkened as she looked down at her.

“Disgusting. Don’t touch me.”

The spot Liu Qiu had touched felt as though it were on fire, burning all the way into her heart.

Fu Jinyin stared at Liu Qiu’s flushed cheeks.

Her thin lips pressed tightly together as her fingers curled into fists.

Recently, strange emotions had been appearing inside her.

She found herself thinking about Liu Qiu.

She also kept wondering why her tentacles had treated Liu Qiu that way before.

Wasn’t that exactly what Liu Qiu had wanted to do to her?

Disgusting.

Liu Qiu blinked slowly.

“O… okay.”

Fu Jinyin’s heart suddenly trembled violently.

Her nails dug deep into her palms.

She shouldn’t care.

She shouldn’t have come out in the middle of work just because of one message from Liu Qiu.

Liu Qiu had been with someone else.

Test Subject No. 137.

They had been drinking, walking together with their bodies close, almost touching.

Fu Jinyin could feel her emotions becoming unstable.

The blood beneath her skin grew hot and restless.

She grabbed the front of her shirt.

She really shouldn’t keep contacting Liu Qiu.

It only made it harder to control the animal genes inside her body.

Her tentacles could emerge at any moment.

And Liu Qiu was still looking at her.

If Liu Qiu discovered them, everything would be over.

She had to go to the bathroom.

But the tentacles were far more impatient than she expected.

Her trousers suddenly tore apart.

Thick, writhing tentacles burst free, waving arrogantly in the air.

Fu Jinyin’s expression turned blank.

She saw her current appearance reflected in Liu Qiu’s tiny pupils.

Ugly.

Grotesque.

The wet, slimy tentacles twisting through the air looked horrifying.

She saw it.

Liu Qiu had seen it.

Fu Jinyin suddenly lunged forward and grabbed Liu Qiu by the neck, forcing her down onto the sofa.

She had to kill her.

She had to kill Liu Qiu and then escape somewhere else.

Liu Qiu’s lips parted slightly.

“I’m so hot…”

The faint scent of alcohol mixed with sweetness drifted from her mouth into Fu Jinyin’s nose.

Fu Jinyin held her breath and looked into Liu Qiu’s eyes.

There was no fear there.

No terror.

Only a hazy mist of moisture clouding her gaze.

“…Liu Qiu, you’re drunk.”

Liu Qiu blinked slowly.

“Ah… I’m drunk.”

Without realizing it, Fu Jinyin’s grip loosened slightly.

Liu Qiu was drunk.

She couldn’t even recognize what these things were.

“Squish.”

A sticky sliding sound echoed.

Fu Jinyin stiffened and looked down.

Something beneath Liu Qiu’s clothes was moving, pushing upward again and again.

Fu Jinyin’s body trembled slightly.

“Come out,” she rasped.

The smooth, burning sensation transmitted clearly through the tentacles.

Fu Jinyin frowned, disgust flashing through her eyes.

Her tentacles were just as disgusting.

“Stop doing something so disgusting. Come out.”

Liu Qiu’s mind was foggy.

She heard Fu Jinyin’s words but couldn’t understand what they meant.

Did she mean the cool thing sliding across her chest and stomach?

Liu Qiu placed her hand on Fu Jinyin’s wrist and murmured drowsily,

“Cool… it feels so good.”

Fu Jinyin’s breathing halted.

Her tentacles were excited.

She had to leave.

Purple veins spread across Fu Jinyin’s pale face like tangled vines, giving her an eerie beauty.

She tried to move away.

But the tentacles refused to obey.

They lifted Liu Qiu’s shirt and even pushed aside her pants.

Warm.

Soft.

Every sensation flowed directly into Fu Jinyin’s brain.

“Stop… stop it,” Fu Jinyin whispered, her lips trembling and pale.

“Don’t… it’s disgusting.”

Liu Qiu was watching her.

Fu Jinyin turned her face away in embarrassment.

She pulled her hand free from Liu Qiu’s grasp and tried to tear the tentacles away from Liu Qiu’s waist.

“It hurts—”

Liu Qiu’s voice made her freeze instantly.

Her breathing grew shallow.

The suction cups were firmly attached to Liu Qiu’s skin.

Pulling them off would wake her with pain.

Fu Jinyin’s face turned deathly pale.

Her long bangs hid her eyes.

“Don’t do this…”

Liu Qiu felt dizzy.

Her clothes seemed to be gone, replaced by cool things sliding over her body.

The heat in her body faded slightly.

“Mmm… it feels good…”

She slowly closed her eyes.

Liu Qiu’s breathing fell heavily against Fu Jinyin’s ears.

Her hands were lifted above her head by the tentacles.

Her black jacket was removed.

Her short-sleeved shirt.

Her white undershirt.

Fu Jinyin’s eyes widened.

Her body trembled violently.

“No—”

At that moment she understood what her tentacles wanted to do.

“Don’t…”

Her voice came out hoarse and broken.

But the tentacles continued.

Fu Jinyin watched helplessly as they wrapped around Liu Qiu’s slender legs.

She bent forward in agony.

“I don’t want this.”

Disgusting.

If she did this, how would she be any different from Liu Qiu?

It was disgusting.

“Jinyin… like…” Liu Qiu murmured instinctively.

It was cool and comfortable.

Her skin felt much better.

Fu Jinyin’s mind exploded.

She covered Liu Qiu’s mouth with her hand.

“Shut up!”

All the tentacles writhed wildly.

They moved urgently, as if searching for something.

Dark purple against pale skin created a disturbingly intimate contrast.

Fu Jinyin’s breathing grew heavier.

Her emotions tore at her mind until her head throbbed.

Liu Qiu blinked her drooping eyes innocently.

Anyone could see she wasn’t conscious.

Fu Jinyin was suffering.

She should stop the tentacles.

She should rip them away even if it hurt Liu Qiu.

But she was afraid Liu Qiu would wake up and see her monstrous form.

Liu Qiu would tell someone.

Then she would be sent back to that laboratory and destroyed.

Fu Jinyin stared blankly at Liu Qiu.

Killing intent and disgust flickered through her pale eyes.

Her face twitched with something close to madness.

“Mm… mm…”

Liu Qiu’s whimper drew Fu Jinyin’s full attention.

“Disgusting,” Fu Jinyin muttered hoarsely.

“Squish—”

At that moment every other sensation in her brain disappeared.

Only warmth and wetness remained.

Fu Jinyin’s toes curled tightly.

Through the hand covering her mouth, Liu Qiu’s eyes filled with tears.

Large drops slid down her cheeks.

The corners of her eyes and the bridge of her nose turned red.

“Squish—”

Fu Jinyin slowly lowered her gaze.

Part of the dark purple tentacle had already disappeared from view.

Her hand trembled as she released Liu Qiu’s mouth.

What had she done?

Liu Qiu breathed quickly.

“This feels strange… my stomach feels so full.”

Fu Jinyin slowly lifted her head and looked at her face.

Tears clung to Liu Qiu’s lashes.

Her eyes were wet, her cheeks flushed.

All the cold indifference she showed during the day was gone.

She looked innocent.

Pitiful.

Completely unaware of what had happened.

A tear slipped from Fu Jinyin’s eye.

Then more followed.

“Liu Qiu… I’m sorry.”

Her voice sounded like a rusted hinge, each word grinding painfully.

She had never imagined she would one day do something like this to Liu Qiu.

“Squish.”

The rhythm grew faster.

“Jinyin… strange…” Liu Qiu murmured weakly.

Fu Jinyin covered her face and let the tears flow.

Disgusting.

She was doing something so disgusting to Liu Qiu while she was unconscious.

Her rational mind rejected it.

But she couldn’t block out the sensations transmitted by the tentacles.

The tight, wet pressure made her scalp go numb.

She couldn’t stop.

“Ugh—”

A pained sound escaped her throat.

Why was she doing something so disgusting?

She really was a failed experiment.

At this moment, Fu Jinyin’s self-loathing reached its peak.

She hated Liu Qiu.

Hated her enough to want to kill her.

Yet she had just done this to her.

She had violated her.

“I’m sorry…”

Through the haze, Liu Qiu heard the apology.

Why was she apologizing?

She tried to reach out to Fu Jinyin, but her hands were trapped and couldn’t move.

The alcohol clouded her mind.

Slowly, she realized what that rapid motion meant.

She blinked slowly.

“Maybe… ah… maybe we should kiss.”

People kissed when they did things like this.

Fu Jinyin lowered her hands from her face.

Her pale cheeks were faintly red.

Tears soaked her face, softening her usual coldness.

She stared at Liu Qiu’s slightly parted lips.

But the tentacle moved faster than she did.

It slid into Liu Qiu’s mouth first.

The contrast of purple-black and pale pink made Fu Jinyin’s body tremble even harder.

Every place the tentacles touched sent sensations directly to her.

“Mmm—”

Liu Qiu couldn’t even close her mouth.

Her brows furrowed slightly.

Tears slid down every time she blinked.

She looked pitiful.

Something strange filled her mouth completely.

But after a moment it withdrew.

Liu Qiu breathed quickly.

“No… no more kissing.”

Her voice was soft and hoarse.

Her mouth felt sticky.

“So strange…”

“Ah—”

Suddenly her mind went blank.

A wave of tingling pleasure rushed from head to toe.

Her already dizzy mind grew even foggier.

Fu Jinyin bent forward, hands braced on either side of Liu Qiu’s arms.

Pain twisted across her face.

Tears continued to pour from her eyes.

“I’m sorry…” she whispered hoarsely.

Her long hair fell across Liu Qiu’s chest.

Liu Qiu felt her skin itch.

She was the one who should apologize.

She had wet herself again.

But she was so tired.

She wanted to sleep.

“Damn it, Fu Jinyin! You touched me. Apologize right now!”

The angry voice made Liu Qiu slowly open her eyes.

Four girls in school uniforms stood nearby.

Fu Jinyin.

She remembered hearing that name earlier.

Her gaze landed on the tall, thin girl surrounded by the other three.

The delicate nose and lips confirmed it.

This was Fu Jinyin.

Chaoyue had shown her a photo before.

It was exactly the same person.

Liu Qiu touched her cheek.

Was she dreaming?

This dream was so strange.

Fu Jinyin’s face and the other girls’ faces were so clear.

“Sorry…” a hoarse, slow voice said.

It didn’t sound like a teenage girl’s voice at all.

It sounded like someone who hadn’t spoken for a long time.

“Disgusting. Being touched by someone like you.”

“Zhao-jie, stop talking to her. Let’s beat her up. I’m already pissed after being scolded by the teacher.”

Liu Qiu frowned.

What was wrong with these girls?

She walked over and reached out to stop them.

But her hand passed straight through their bodies.

She froze.

Then realized.

This was a dream.

She couldn’t touch anyone here.

Why would she dream something like this?

“Fine. No one’s around anyway.”

Liu Qiu’s eyes widened.

“What are you doing?!”

“Bang!”

One girl kicked young Fu Jinyin hard in the knee.

Her thin body collapsed to the ground.

Liu Qiu’s heart clenched painfully.

“Stop!”

But her voice couldn’t reach them.

The moment Fu Jinyin fell, the three girls began kicking her repeatedly.

Fu Jinyin lay there expressionless.

She didn’t fight back.

She didn’t make a sound.

Like a lifeless puppet.

Liu Qiu rushed forward to shield her, but she couldn’t touch anything.

Wasn’t this her dream?

Why was this happening?

Her chest tightened painfully.

This was bullying.

How could they do something like this?

The girls’ faces twisted with cruel delight.

Their anger turned into sadistic pleasure.

“Tsk. She’s like a corpse. Let’s go.”

The three girls stopped and left together, chatting sweetly as if nothing had happened.

Liu Qiu’s breathing shook.

She looked at Fu Jinyin.

“Fu Jinyin… are you okay?”

But Fu Jinyin couldn’t hear her.

She lay on the ground, barely breathing.

Liu Qiu’s nose stung.

She hated this dream.

Suddenly the scene changed.

The open campus vanished, replaced by a cramped bathroom.

She saw Fu Jinyin again.

“Slash.”

A girl dragged a shard of glass across Fu Jinyin’s back, leaving a deep bloody cut.

Liu Qiu stopped breathing.

“Still not talking? Doesn’t it hurt?”

Another cut appeared.

“Tsk. Get up.”

Two girls dragged Fu Jinyin from the floor and shoved her head into a sink full of water.

“Hahaha! This is fun.”

“Look at you now, Fu-dog!”

Liu Qiu felt suffocated watching it.

She was powerless.

“Isn’t this my dream?”

“I… I don’t want to see this.”

The world shifted again.

This time she stood at the top of a staircase.

Someone shoved Fu Jinyin down.

Her forehead split open.

Bright red blood filled Liu Qiu’s vision.

“Teacher, my kid didn’t mean it. They were just playing around.”

“Right, student?”

“That’s not true,” Liu Qiu said hoarsely.

But the voice didn’t belong to her.

Fu Jinyin spoke.

“…medical fees.”

Darkness swallowed Liu Qiu’s vision.

When she opened her eyes again, Fu Jinyin had grown much taller.

Someone stood opposite her.

Someone with Liu Qiu’s face.

“If you had agreed earlier, things wouldn’t have gotten this bad.”

“I’ll handle the rumors about you sleeping with people. Just marry me.”

Liu Qiu realized something.

That wasn’t her.

That was the original owner.

Fu Jinyin stood there with her head lowered.

Her long bangs hid her eyes.

Only her tightly pressed lips were visible.

The scene shifted again and again.

Marriage registration.

A wedding.

“BOOM!”

Thunder roared as rain pounded against the windows.

“You’re my spouse. It’s normal for us to have s*x.”

“You’re not allowed to refuse me.”

Liu Qiu stared blankly.

She couldn’t describe what she felt.

The original owner pinned Fu Jinyin to the bed while unbuttoning her shirt.

What would happen next was obvious.

Fu Jinyin showed no expression.

Her pale eyes held no emotion.

She pressed a hand against the original owner’s shoulder.

“When we married, you said you’d give me three years.”

“Three years for me to fall in love with you.”

“Only then.”

“BOOM—”

Another thunderclap.

Liu Qiu jolted awake.

So bitter.

How could Fu Jinyin’s life be so bitter?

This wasn’t her dream.

It was Fu Jinyin’s memories.

Liu Qiu slowly sat up in bed.

Her entire body ached.

Especially between her legs.

But she barely noticed.

Her heart was filled with sadness.

She wanted to cry.

And tears really did begin to slide down her face.

Her hangover headache only worsened as she cried softly.

“Creak…”

The door slowly opened.

Liu Qiu looked over.

When she saw the tall figure at the door, she burst into tears.

“I feel terrible.”

Fu Jinyin’s face was pale.

Her eyes were swollen.

Her body trembled as she slowly approached.

Her fists clenched so tightly her nails dug into her palms.

“Liu… Qiu.”

Looking at the thin figure standing before her, Liu Qiu stood and hugged her.

“I feel awful.”

Her body was hot and soft, carrying the faint scent of sweet body wash.

Fu Jinyin’s entire body stiffened.

She felt something inside her stirring again.

Suddenly she shoved Liu Qiu away.

“Don’t touch me!”

Her voice was harsh and hoarse.

Liu Qiu pressed her lips together and wiped her tears.

“Sorry.”

“I didn’t mean to do anything.”

She had just woken up and couldn’t control her emotions.

After taking a few deep breaths, she calmed down.

“Jinyin… thank you for bringing me back.”

She remembered Fu Jinyin taking her away from Chaoyue.

After getting into the car, everything became blurry.

Fu Jinyin stared into Liu Qiu’s eyes.

Her breathing was heavy.

“Does your body… feel very uncomfortable?”

It seemed Liu Qiu remembered nothing.

Liu Qiu shook her head and stepped out of bed, putting on slippers.

“No.”

She stood up and tried to walk toward the bathroom.

But the moment she straightened, her legs gave out.

She dropped back onto the bed.

“Ah—”

A sharp pain made her gasp.

Why did it hurt so much?

It felt like…

No.

It must just be her imagination.

Fu Jinyin hated her.

Why would she ever do something like that?

Seeing her condition, Fu Jinyin’s face turned even paler.

“Liu Qiu… I’m sorry.”

She had done something even worse than what Liu Qiu had once done to her.

Even after Liu Qiu passed out, the tentacles hadn’t stopped.

They treated her like a toy.

The suction cups clung tightly to her skin until everything swelled to twice its size.

Liu Qiu didn’t understand why Fu Jinyin kept apologizing.

She looked like she might cry.

Liu Qiu blinked slowly.

“Could you… cook something for me?”

“I’m a little hungry.”

Fu Jinyin nodded silently and turned to leave the room.

Liu Qiu curled her fingers slightly.

Fu Jinyin was acting very strange today.

Coming into her room was already unusual.

Apologizing to her was even stranger.

And now she was going to cook because of a single request.

But it probably didn’t matter.

Fu Jinyin would still refuse to let her get close.
