“Do you truly believe you can intimidate us?” Lu Buchun scoffed, dismissing Ye Zhiqu’s threat with a dismissive curl of his lip.

“Since you leave us no alternative, we shall simply have to act,” Ye Zhiqu declared coldly, drawing the longsword from her waist.

Her companions, in turn, unsheathed their own weapons.

Upon seeing the three women draw their weapons, Lu Buchun’s face twisted into a lewd, sinister grin as he lunged towards Xian Yuan, extending his hands like claws, aiming directly for He Xiaomeng’s chest, intent on exploiting her perceived vulnerability.
