Chapter 81: The Taiji Fan and Midnight Infiltration

“Once Zhuozhao is in my hands, we’ll see if you can take it back!”

While Liu Chenyan was still lost in her blissful fantasies, Ye Zhiqu, unbeknownst to her, had already seen through her senior sister’s thoughts.

Ye Zhiqu chuckled, “Oh, is that so? There’s no need for Senior Sister to trouble herself. When I departed, Master bestowed upon me the Taiji Fan for self-defense.”

*Snap!*

At that instant, Liu Chenyan froze, as if turned to stone.

‘The Taiji Fan? Yu Xu Zi, you gave your life-bound magical artifact to your disciple? How ruthless can you be!’

The Taiji Fan, with its Yin for offense and Yang for defense, was truly versatile. Its most significant ability was to reflect an opponent’s attack back at them, provided they were of the same cultivation realm.

Although this power could only be invoked once every seven days, it was undeniably a crucial trump card for survival.

King’s City

At midnight, King’s City was exceptionally quiet.

Yet, beneath this tranquility, unseen currents surged.

In an inconspicuous corner,

Leng Xi and Zhi Jiu emerged like shadows from the darkness, clad in night clothes and masks. As they casually passed by the night watchman, he showed no reaction whatsoever, as if utterly blind to their presence.

“This potion truly works.”

“Then let’s proceed. Xian Yuan has already sent us the coordinates.”

“Understood.”

Leng Xi touched her earlobe, and a technological electronic eye materialized.

Immediately, a map appeared before Leng Xi’s eyes, so detailed that it covered virtually every corner of King’s City.

This was the result of Xian Yuan’s reconnaissance during the period she operated her supermarket.

“I’ll go to the Yu Family, and you’ll go to the An Family,” Zhi Jiu instructed.

“No problem.”

Leng Xi made an ‘okay’ gesture. Then, both of them retrieved the wisp of Netherworld Flame Xian Yuan had given them and smeared it onto their ordinary daggers.

Following this, the two parted ways to begin their separate operations.

Leng Xi headed east, arriving at the easternmost part of King’s City, where a luxurious manor came into view. Its gates, however, were tightly shut.

With a light leap, Leng Xi arced gracefully through the air, effortlessly clearing the wall and landing silently within the An Family compound.

*Crack!*

A crisp snap echoed as a tree branch beneath Leng Xi’s foot broke into several pieces.

‘Damn it!’

Leng Xi cursed under her breath, silently praying that she hadn’t been discovered.

A few minutes later,

None of the An Family guards approached, nor did any of the maids in the front courtyard. They all appeared to be exceptionally busy.

“Right, the master is having his spring bath today, quickly send over several dozen maids!”

“We’re doing it, we’re doing it!”

“Remember to bring some of the madams too!”

“Yes, yes.”

****

Leng Xi: “…”

Seeing that no one had noticed her, Leng Xi’s suspended heart finally settled.

Listening to the maids’ words, she couldn’t help but imagine some rather inappropriate scenes.

‘That old pervert certainly knows how to enjoy himself.’

Leng Xi retrieved her dagger from her spatial ring and tucked it into her sleeve.

Swiftly, she moved through the front courtyard and into the back.

In the An Family’s back courtyard, Leng Xi was stunned by the sight before her. It was several times more opulent than the front, adorned with precious spiritual herbs and trees at every turn. A clear stream meandered through, spanned by a stone bridge entirely crafted from a vast quantity of spirit stones.

A pavilion stood majestically in the distance, its roof covered in glazed tiles, exuding an ancient aura.

Leng Xi quietly slipped into a secluded corner, where she discovered a small pavilion furnished with a rosewood table and several chairs. Tea sets and a pot of tea leaves rested on the table, their fragrant aroma wafting enticingly through the air.

Suddenly, a graceful figure entered. Leng Xi focused her gaze, recognizing a beautiful woman clad in a long blue dress, her hair cascading over her shoulders, and her eyes as clear as water.

The woman, oblivious to Leng Xi’s presence, slowly adjusted the hem of her skirt behind her shapely rear, then gracefully settled onto the wooden stool.

Leng Xi found herself momentarily captivated. Such elegance, such a figure! Though she couldn’t compare to Wang Zhe, this woman was undoubtedly a top-tier beauty.

Coupled with the exasperating incident involving Zhi Jiu earlier that morning, Leng Xi felt an itch in her hands.

The woman’s delicate hand smoothed a strand of golden hair behind her ear. Then, she slowly raised the teacup, gently blew across its surface, and took a small sip.

‘No, I must resist!’

Leng Xi lightly bit her red lip, forcing herself to calm down.

Although this woman was very much to her liking, acting on it now would surely expose her.

It would be better to deal with the An Family first; coming back for her later wouldn’t be too late.

Turning, Leng Xi followed a group of maids.

The woman continued to sip her tea peacefully, unaware that a lecherous gaze had just been upon her, nor that she had been targeted.

Inside the An Family’s bathhouse,

Smoke swirled, yet the bathhouse’s scale and decor were extraordinarily luxurious. The interior gleamed with golden splendor, its pristine marble floor reflecting the dazzling crystal lights of the ornate ceiling.

At the center of the bathhouse lay an enormous bathing pool, where a group of maids, clad in transparent gossamer, stood by, holding teapots, tea trays, towels, and other items.

An Changfeng lay shirtless in the pool, his eyes closed in repose, his hands resting on the marble edge as if lost in thought, perhaps recalling some memory.

Beside him stood a serving maid of remarkable beauty and slender figure, who was gently combing the An Family Head’s hair with a comb in her hand.

Another maid, holding a wooden basin filled with flower petals, stood before An Changfeng, carefully pouring the petals into the wooden tub. Instantly, the petals released a fragrant aroma that permeated the bathhouse, creating a refreshing and delightful atmosphere.

“Family Head, the grapes are ready.”

At that moment, a young maid, draped in gossamer and bearing a jade plate laden with grapes, gently placed it beside the bathing pool.

An Changfeng opened his eyes, gazing at the maid who leaned her neck slightly to whisper. In that instant, a wave of insatiable desire washed over him.

“Qiqi, you smell so fragrant.”

Qiqi’s hair was still damp, water dripping from its tips. Moreover, the gossamer, clinging tightly to her skin due to the steam in the bathhouse, subtly revealed her fair, flushed complexion.

With each breath, her ‘jade rabbits’ rose and fell, a sight that made one’s blood surge.

An Changfeng rose and embraced Qiqi, one hand caressing her slender waist while the other brought a grape to his mouth.

“Family Head, why aren’t you eating?”

Qiqi, observing that An Changfeng was only feeding her grapes and not eating any himself, felt a pang of confusion.

“I’m not feeling well. Rub me.”

An Changfeng set down the grapes, then lifted Qiqi onto his lap. His two fingers cupped her chin, forcing her to look up and meet his gaze, while his other hand began to trail down her back.

“Mm~”

Qiqi’s face flushed crimson as she shielded her chest with both hands, preventing An Changfeng’s hand from touching her ‘jade rabbits’.

Yet, as her gossamer was undone, her fair, pristine body was completely exposed to the air.

A gulp echoed, and An Changfeng’s saliva visibly trickled from his throat as his eyes gleamed, fixed on Qiqi.

“Good girl, Qiqi. It’s been a while since we’ve done this.”

An Changfeng wiped away a trickle of saliva, then, holding Qiqi, he settled her onto his lap.
