Chapter 48: Ah Le, the Pet Girl?

Inside the hospital room, the young man with ice-blue pupils had half of his body out the window, suspended on the edge of the high altitude. His originally ice-blue pupils were bloodshot. He pointed at the doctors and nurses who had rushed into the room, almost hysterically.

“Don’t come near! Don’t any of you come near!!”

“This is all wrong, it’s all fake!!”

“Either I’m crazy! Or this world is crazy!!”

The doctors and nurses were blocked at the door, too scared to approach rashly by the young man’s frantic appearance. They could only carefully try to calm him down. “Student, don’t get excited. Come down first.”

“We can talk about anything!!”

For a moment, the two sides were at a stalemate.

“Are the patient’s family members here?”

“Are the family members of patient 9527 here?”

“Are the family members of patient Qin Liang here?”

A doctor outside the room was constantly shouting. The elevator doors opened, and two men and one woman quickly walked out.

Hearing the doctor’s call, Tang Yunle looked around the chaotic corridor and thought to herself that this was not good. She then asked, “We’re not family, but we’re his university classmates. Doctor, how is Ah Liang now?”

“The patient seems to have a potential mental illness. He’s currently…”

“Forget it, I won’t say more. You’re his classmates. Go and persuade him, calm him down!”

After speaking, the doctor suddenly grabbed Lin Haiyu and Li Wei’s arms and pulled them into the room, completely ignoring Tang Yunle.

Tang Yunle was stunned for a moment, then she thought of the strange customs of this bizarre H-anime world, pouted, and also squeezed into the room.

At this moment, under the persuasion of Lin Haiyu and Li Wei, Qin Liang’s emotions had calmed down a bit, but he still had half of his body out the window.

Sensing that someone else had entered, Qin Liang subconsciously turned his head to look. When he saw the familiar yet unfamiliar female face under the trench coat, he froze.

Then, he suddenly pointed at Tang Yunle and almost shouted, “Who the hell are you!”

Tang Yunle was also stunned.

Then, she slightly lifted her trench coat to let him see her face clearly, and also revealed the soft and lewd bunny girl outfit on her body. She wiggled her waist, the black fishnet stockings glistening in the light.

“Ah Liang, it’s me, Tang Yunle. And, I’m also your room… the female pet of dorm room 812.”

“Come down first. I’m the female pet who’s here to comfort you. Do you want to watch me dance ‘Gokuraku Jodo’ later?”

As she spoke, the beautiful girl in the bunny girl outfit deliberately shook the fluffy bunny ear hair ornament, trying to be cute.

She had originally intended to calm his emotions, but these words seemed to have the opposite effect. The young man suspended at the window suddenly became agitated and cursed.

“Damn it!”

“You’re a f*cking Ah Le!!”

“The Ah Le I know is a man!”

At this point, he threw his head back and laughed.

“Don’t any of you come near. This must all be fake! I must be dreaming!!”

“This damn world can’t possibly exist!!”

Before his words had even faded, a large trench coat was suddenly thrown over his head, and the young man’s vision went dark.

Before he could react, his lower back was precisely hit at an acupuncture point. He subconsciously tried to struggle, but the familiar lemon scent, mixed with a gust of wind, rushed towards him, and his body instinctively paused.

Then, a sharp pain came from the back of his head. His eyes rolled back, his body went limp, and he collapsed into Tang Yunle’s arms.

Everyone saw a female pet rush forward and knock the patient out with a few moves, and their eyes widened in disbelief.

The whole process took only an instant.

Tang Yunle held the unconscious young man with both hands. When she stood up straight, the bunny tail hair ornament was still gently swaying.

She patted her skirt and shouted at the door, “What are you staring at? Come and help!”

However, the room was dead silent.

The doctors and nurses stared at the girl in the bunny girl uniform, as if they were looking at a rare species.

It wasn’t until Lin Haiyu and Li Wei were the first to react that everyone came to their senses and scrambled to lift Qin Liang onto the hospital bed.

After a flurry of activity, Tang Yunle collapsed onto a chair in the room. She had just caught her breath when she saw Lin Haiyu walking over with two bottles of mineral water.

He sat down beside her, his expression complicated. He waited until the doctors and nurses had dispersed before he lowered his voice. “Ah Le, do you know you’re in big trouble?”

“Huh?”

She took the mineral water from him and had just taken a few sips when Tang Yunle was clearly bewildered.

Seeing that she was still confused, Lin Haiyu pointed to the unconscious Qin Liang on the hospital bed, his heart aching. “Do you know you just broke the law? That’s intentional assault!”

“Wasn’t I just acting righteously for a just cause?” Tang Yunle asked in confusion.

“Acting righteously for a just cause is a right that only citizens have. You’re a female pet, you don’t even have human rights. What are you doing here? Wouldn’t it have been better to just stay outside! Those doctors and nurses dared to stop him because they have licenses.”

“And now, you’ve intentionally injured a citizen, and there are so many witnesses. Although you had good intentions subjectively, objectively you broke the law.”

“If Old Qin wakes up and is mentally stable, it’ll be fine if he signs a letter of understanding. But if he wakes up and is still crazy, and his family takes their anger out on you, you really might be suspended from school!”

At this point, Lin Haiyu sighed. “But don’t be too scared. I heard the federation has a new law. You might not be able to go to college for the rest of your life, but you can be a caregiver in a hospital.”

“This is so unfair!” Tang Yunle cursed.

Lin Haiyu looked at her in surprise. “What’s unfair about it? The lions and tigers in the zoo are also forced to retire after they injure people.”

Tang Yunle: …

Damn it!

Facing the risk of being forced to suspend school on the first day of her transmigration.

She turned her head to look at Qin Liang, praying in her heart.

‘Dude! You have to wake up normally!!’

‘From what you just said, I know you must be from the same world as me!’

‘In this damn parallel world, only the two of us can stick together for warmth!’

The next time Qin Liang woke up, it was already night. The night was dark outside, and the lights were bright.

He subconsciously tried to sit up, but found that his limbs were firmly fixed to the restraint bed with leather straps. Every time he struggled, the metal buckles would make a harsh scraping sound.

He looked around. Lin Haiyu and Li Wei were scrolling through short videos in the room. When they saw him wake up, they put down their phones and came over.

“Old Qin, you’re finally awake!” Lin Haiyu came over in three steps. “We tied you up for your safety. We have to make sure you’re mentally stable first.”

Saying that, he held up two fingers. “Let me ask you a question. What’s one plus one?”

The corner of Qin Liang’s mouth twitched. “Two hundred and forty-nine.”

“Oh my! Old Li, Old Qin can’t even do addition anymore! Quick, go call a doctor!” Lin Haiyu was so panicked that he was about to rush out the door, but Li Wei grabbed the corner of his clothes.

“Old Qin is saying that to ask such a simple question, you’re not even as good as a simpleton.”

Li Wei didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “To be able to joke around normally means his brain isn’t broken.”

Saying that, he undid the restraints on the young man. Qin Liang propped himself up and sat up, looking around.

Seeing that he showed no signs of losing control, the two of them secretly breathed a sigh of relief. But before they could speak, Qin Liang suddenly asked, “Who was that girl who knocked me out?”

“That was Ah Le. Old Qin, is your brain as muddled as Ah Le’s?” Lin Haiyu scratched his head, then, as if he had thought of something, he quickly said,

“Old Qin, don’t blame Ah Le for being too rough. She was just concerned about you. We big men shouldn’t be so petty with a little female pet. If a cat scratches you, you can’t possibly scratch it back. That would be so degrading.”

“If you ask me, you should sign a letter of understanding later. Otherwise…”

“Wait? What did you just say? That girl was Ah Le?” Qin Liang was surprised.

“Who else?” Lin Haiyu returned his gaze with the same surprise.

“Isn’t Ah Le a boy? Our roommate.”

“Is your brain also offline like Ah Le’s this morning? Ah Le has always been the female pet of our dorm.”

‘This morning?’

Qin Liang’s heart stirred.

He sat up straight and looked at Lin Haiyu and Li Wei, his eyes shining.

“Tell me what happened this morning, word for word.”

Although the two of them found it strange, for the sake of the patient, they still recounted the events, one after another.

From Tang Yunle’s scream in the morning, to her confusion about being a female pet and her various questions, to her bewilderment when she received her nutritional meal at the cafeteria, and so on, they slowly told the story.

And during this process, Qin Liang’s originally calm and numb ice-blue eyes gradually changed, as if he had seen a glimmer of hope.

After they had finished their story, the hospital room door “clattered” and was pushed open.

Tang Yunle, wrapped in a large trench coat, burst in with two large bags of late-night snacks in her arms, her bunny ear headband swaying with her movements.

“Everyone, I’m back with the late-night snacks!!”

Three gazes turned to her. Two were as calm as water, while the other was surprisingly complex.
