Chapter 125: Tang Yunke’s Wingman Contract

The night was deep, and in the private screening theater, only the faint light reflected from the screen was on.

Tang Yunle nestled in Qin Liang’s arms, her soft hair strands rubbing against his neck, Qin Liang’s arm encircling her waist, his other hand holding the popcorn bucket, fingertips pinching a kernel to feed to her lips.

On the screen, a well-received hilarious romance film was playing.

“Ah Le, what do you think of the movie?” Qin Liang asked while feeding her.

“Pretty funny.” Tang Yunle opened her mouth to bite the popcorn, slowly swallowing it.

“I think it’s pretty average.”

Beside them, a clear, sweet female voice suddenly drifted over.

The two turned their heads at the same time, only to see that the originally empty seat had somehow gained a person.

Tang Yunke was wearing a strap short skirt, revealing fair and slender arms and legs, paired oddly with lace-edged white stockings, exuding a contradictory sense of coolness and sweetness.

She winked at Tang Yunle: “Sis.”

Then turned to Qin Liang, slightly lifting her chin, “Brother-in-law.”

“You guys watching a movie and didn’t call me, that’s not nice.”

“Why are you here?” Tang Yunle furrowed her brows; originally, the two of them having a private screening was so warm and sweet, but this little girl suddenly appearing shattered the atmosphere instantly.

“Of course, to check on my dearest sister, see if she’s been conquered by a stinky man.”

Tang Yunke said as she shifted in her seat, her gaze sweeping over the screen, just catching the scene where the male and female leads got up from bed and bickered; she pursed her lips, “I’ve seen the pirated version of this film before; honestly, it’s a bit nonsensical.”

“The misunderstandings in the first half are too contrived, the leads’ intelligence fluctuates, and that bed scene just now was added quite forcibly, like to pad the runtime.”

Pausing, she grabbed the popcorn bucket from Qin Liang’s hand, stuffing a handful into her mouth, “But well, as a popcorn flick, it’s okay, no need to use your brain.”

Tang Yunle gritted her back teeth.

Of course she knew this was a nonsensical hilarious romance comedy, but watching a movie with Qin Liang wasn’t just about the movie— the kissing, hugging, and cuddling during the movie, holding hands and strolling after, that was the point.

What exactly did this little girl Tang Yunke want?

She had been frantically urging her to actively pursue Qin Liang before, but now, she came to be an eyesore side character.

“Beep beep beep~~”

Suddenly, a phone ringtone pierced the quiet of the private room; Tang Yunle lowered her head to glance at the caller ID on the phone screen, her brows furrowing.

“I’m going out to take a call.” She whispered to Qin Liang as she stood up, then glanced at Tang Yunke who was stuffing a second handful of popcorn into her mouth, “Behave.”

Tang Yunke made a face at her; once the private room door gently closed, she immediately bounced like a marble to the seat next to Qin Liang, the chair legs scraping a sound on the carpet.

She didn’t grab more popcorn; instead, she propped her elbow on the armrest, leaning forward to stare at Qin Liang, her ink-black beautiful eyes shining like they hid little stars.

“Hey, brother-in-law.” She deliberately lowered her voice, but couldn’t hide the probing tone, “Do you really like my sis a lot?”

Qin Liang was just raising his hand to push the popcorn bucket toward her; upon hearing this, his movement paused, looking at the little girl beside him who had suddenly become serious.

The theater’s lighting flickered bright and dark, casting Tang Yunke’s expression half in light, half in shadow.

Tang Yunke and Tang Yunle were very alike, almost carved from the same mold; at first glance, indistinguishable, only upon close inspection could one tell apart by height difference and the black and white stockings on their legs.

Honestly, Qin Liang was very curious about Tang Yunke.

It wasn’t that he had any thoughts of exploring a sister-in-law relationship, but just imagine, he had chased Tang Yunle, but Qin Liang had already tacitly assumed she was… from there, he had learned that she had a little devil sister who controlled supernatural powers—

Who wouldn’t be curious? Who wouldn’t want to understand the details? Who wouldn’t want to know who exactly Tang Yunle was?

However, since Tang Yunle wasn’t willing to elaborate, he couldn’t force it.

Take it slow; one day Tang Yunle would fully open her heart to him.

Before he could answer, Tang Yunke leaned closer, almost sticking to his ear, her voice even lower: “The kind of like where you want to marry her and take her home as your wife, right?”

Qin Liang pinched a popcorn kernel and pressed it into Tang Yunke’s mouth; he didn’t answer directly, instead countering: “Otherwise? I like Ah Le a lot; as her sister, can’t you tell?”

“Then don’t you want my sister to respond quickly, stop being like now, half-veiled and hesitant?”

“Hm?”

“For example, I can be your advisor, help you pursue my sister.”

Tang Yunke pointed at herself smugly, self-recommending like a little fox offering treasure.

She pulled out a neatly folded contract from behind: “The price is signing a pact with me.”

“If one day you unfortunately… um, meet with an accident, your assets go to me and my sis.”

Qin Liang was first stunned upon hearing, then chuckled lowly.

He pinched Tang Yunke’s cheek; these sisters were truly carved from the same mold as little money-grubbers, even their ideas carried a bit of whimsical innocence.

With the divine pen, he might not be immortal, but living to a hundred was certain.

In the face of “wish-fulfillment” power, what terminal illnesses were no issue.

This was clearly a benefit delivered to his door.

Indeed, Ah Le’s sister not only looked identical to her, but their personalities were similar too.

“Signed.” He handed the contract back,

Watching Tang Yunke carefully fold it and tuck it into her pocket, he couldn’t help teasing, “So now, Miss Advisor, shouldn’t you share your pursuit plan?”

“If it’s useless, my assets aren’t that easy to take.”

“Of course!”

Tang Yunke smugly snapped her fingers crisply, the surrounding light and shadows suddenly rippling like crumpled paper.

When Qin Liang steadied himself, the originally spacious movie private room had turned into a strategy room hung with various charts; on the central whiteboard, prominently pasted was Tang Yunle’s photo.

He followed his gaze; in the photo, Tang Yunle had changed into a sharp female advisor outfit, shoulder epaulets gleaming with fine light, but below the knees exposed was still that eye-catching section of white stockings.

Qin Liang’s Adam’s apple bobbed— unrelated to anything else, black and white stockings always inexplicably hit his spot.

“Old perv, look over here!”

Tang Yunke was already holding a silver-white pointer standing in front of the whiteboard, knocking the photo properly: “Next, this advisor will systematically introduce to you, my sister, once that sunny and upward big boy, now just a thread away from complete feminization— Tang Yunle.”

The pointer turned to the left side of the whiteboard, where words suddenly emerged: 【Core Attributes: Lacking love, lacking money, lacking security】.

Meanwhile, outside the movie private room, Tang Yunle hung up the phone,

Staring at the phone screen with the caller ID “family,” her delicate brows slightly furrowed.

“This time, they didn’t ask me for money, but instead told me to go home for a trip?”
