Join the ServerQin Liang felt that his experience at the wedding dress shop today was already bizarre enough.
He had been agonizing over whether he would even be alive in ten years, when suddenly Professor Zhou appeared, signed a contract, and left behind a bottle of emerald liquid that could cure his illness.
Oral administration, ninety percent success rate.
To be fair, that was already high enough. Every three years since childhood, each surgery had been a fight to snatch his life from the jaws of death.
That is, if there weren’t a second clause.
—When paired with the Sister Combo treatment, the success rate becomes one hundred percent.
This statement was directed not only at him but also at Tang Yunle.
Though he had never studied psychology, Qin Liang could tell that Professor Zhou was an extremely abstract and highly malicious joker.
But the moment he got home, Qin Liang threw all that out the window and arrived at one conclusion:
—Professor Zhou was a goddamn beast!!
No other reason: Professor Zhou had someone send that incredibly sensual and ambiguous wedding photo—the one of the sister combo taken at the bridal shop—back to his home.
Right in front of his father and mother, they opened the nearly half-meter-tall wedding photo, and he even thoughtfully paid to have it nailed onto the big living room wall.
“Mom, calm down. The kid’s at that age. Think about it—who wasn’t wild when they were young?”
“Right, right, right, dear, cool off. Xiaoliang is still young; he’ll settle down later.”
In the living room, Father Qin and Qin Wen were alternately persuading and placating Mother Qin.
In the bedroom, Qin Liang pressed his ear to the door, listening to the commotion. He didn’t dare step out of the room.
After listening for a while longer, the argument in the living room gradually died down, leaving only the intermittent reassurances from his parents and brother. It seemed no bigger disaster had erupted for now.
He breathed a sigh of relief, slid down with his back against the door, and rubbed his temples.
Turning toward the bed, the two figures on it each occupied a side.
Tang Yunle was lying cross-legged, head down, scrolling through her phone. The screen light reflected off her tense cheek. Tang Yunke was holding the small glass bottle of emerald liquid, her fingers unconsciously stroking the bottle, her gaze distant.
Qin Liang sat down on the edge of the bed, and the mattress dipped slightly.
Tang Yunle immediately turned her head, holding out the bottle. Her voice was hesitant but unusually serious: “Liang, maybe… just accept the Sister Combo? I’ll talk to Yunke; she’ll listen to me.”
She bit her lip and added, “At this point, a hundred percent certainty is safer than ninety. I don’t want you to take any risk.”
Before Qin Liang could speak, Tang Yunke snorted and tossed her phone aside. “Dream on. I’m not agreeing to that.”
“I’ll pay you,” Tang Yunle shot back, a hint of urgency in her tone.
“It’s not about money,” Tang Yunke frowned, her voice stiff. “It’s about dignity. I won’t give myself to a man I don’t like.”
“Then do it for me,” Tang Yunle softened her voice, her eyes rimmed red. “I don’t want to be a widow… Just think of it as mindless fun, no feelings involved, okay?”
“No.”
She glanced at Qin Liang, then quickly looked away. “Ninety percent is already high enough. I believe in Brother-in-law’s luck.”
The bedroom fell silent, the occasional comforting sounds from outside only making the atmosphere heavier.
Silence hung in the air for a long time before Qin Liang finally spoke. He gently patted Tang Yunle on the head, his tone warm. “Yunke’s right. Ninety percent is already high. Don’t be too greedy.”
Tang Yunle pursed her lips and muttered softly, “But I’m just worried…”
She stopped mid-sentence, her eyes widening slightly as if struck by an idea. She whipped her head around to look at Tang Yunke, a glimmer of light in her eyes. “Yunke, you said you wouldn’t give yourself to a man you don’t like. What about a man you do like?”
Tang Yunke was taken aback, tapping the edge of the bed with her fingers. After a moment’s thought, she said, “Well, I might consider it.”
“Then what kind of man do you like?” Tang Yunle pressed on, as if grasping at a lifeline.
Tang Yunke raised an eyebrow and counted on her fingers. “First, he has to be rich—at least on Brother-in-law’s level. Second, he has to be a bit of a bad boy. That ‘bad’ vibe is exciting, you know? Forced love stuff really appeals to me. Finally…” She stroked her chin, her gaze drifting toward the window. “He has to make my heart race. Otherwise, how can I say I like him?”
She shrugged, a hint of self-mockery in her tone. “Of course, I’ll probably never meet a guy like that. So it’s best to just spend my life with my sister and brother-in-law. Spend his money, eat his food, sleep in his bed—sounds pretty nice, a blessing in life.”
Tang Yunle blinked, a small smile curling at the corner of her mouth.
“Yunke, Liang.”
“Look at me.”
Tang Yunke and Qin Liang both leaned in toward Tang Yunle, and before they could react, she kissed each of them on the cheek.
“I’ve decided,” Tang Yunle said, her eyes sparkling with unwavering certainty. “We still have ten years. There’s no rush to start the Sister Combo treatment right now.”
Qin Liang had just relaxed, thinking she had finally come to her senses, when she continued, “In these ten years, I’ll find a way to make you slowly accept the Sister Combo, Liang.”
Then she turned to Tang Yunke, a mischievous smile on her face. “And at the same time, I’ll make you fall for Liang, so you’ll agree willingly.”
With that, she reached out, took both their hands, and squeezed them firmly. “I believe I can make us a loving family.”
Tang Yunke and Qin Liang exchanged a look, seeing the same helplessness and bewilderment in each other’s eyes.
—Alright, looks like we need to find time to see a psychiatrist again. Get Tang Yunle a heavy case file.
Just then, Tang Yunle suddenly leaned forward and pushed. Tang Yunke gasped as she tumbled into the soft bedding, her hair spreading across the pillow.
Before she could push herself up, Tang Yunle’s fingers were already at her collar, deftly unbuttoning two buttons to reveal the delicate, porcelain-like skin of her neck and collarbone, with a soft, youthful sheen.
“Since we can’t go all the way at once, let’s start by getting used to sharing a bed.”
Tang Yunle’s voice carried a happy warmth. She casually tore open her own shirt, the collar sliding off her shoulder, revealing her delicate collarbone and the faint curve of her chest. “Let’s both strip and sleep with Liang, get him used to our bodies.”
“Sis! No!!” Tang Yunke’s entire body tensed. As she struggled, two more buttons on her shirt popped open, exposing the snowy white of her shoulders. Her shirt slipped halfway down, and the skin of her lower back glowed a honey-colored sheen under the light.
She suddenly kicked out, shoving Tang Yunle away, and jumped off the bed barefoot. The loose hem of her shirt barely reached her thighs, leaving a teasing tickle.
Tang Yunle wasn’t annoyed. Her fingers hooked her own loosened collar and gave it a light tug, letting the shirt slide completely off her body. Only a thin bra remained, outlining her curves.
She slipped on her slippers and chased after, tossing the bra aside. Her bare calves traced smooth arcs across the carpet. “What are you running for? We’re both women, and Liang isn’t a stranger.”
Tang Yunke grabbed a thin quilt to wrap herself, fleeing in panic. The fabric, caught by the wind from her running, billowed up, revealing the concave curve of her waist and the rounded lines where her hips met her thighs.
Tang Yunle chased behind her, grabbing a pillow and hurling it at her back. Tang Yunke stumbled forward, the quilt loosening further, exposing the flawless, creamy jade of her back and shoulders, glowing with a soft luster in the bright light.
The two ran around the bedroom, the soft fabric tightening and loosening, outlining youthful, feminine curves.
The trembling arcs as they ran, the taut waistlines as they jumped, the blinding, unreserved white flesh—it was stunningly beautiful, yet held a hint of inexperienced innocence. Qin Liang’s throat tightened, his eyes glued to those swaying curves, unable to look away.
Actually…
His wife’s emotional perception was different from ordinary people; his wife’s sister was not human; and for the rest of his life, he would be living with this pair of lively little sisters.
The man glanced down at his own less-than-appropriate condition.
Though a pure love advocate might find it hard to accept, from a man’s basic nature…
Qin Liang stared at the swaying whiteness for a moment, then the corner of his mouth lifted.
It didn’t seem so bad, after all.
