Inside the high-end sedan, the cool air mixed with the scent of leather rushed towards her. Lu Jiajia sat on the genuine leather seat in the back.
Outside the car window, the roadside trees became a blur of green as they receded. In the distance, the outline of the female pet cultivation center, traced by the neon lights, was becoming clearer and clearer with the sound of the engine—that was their destination.
Lu Jiajia, a senior, was at the dual juncture of graduation and internship.
As an S-grade female pet, she was quite famous in the college’s female pet circle.
But compared to the two new dark horses who had an S-grade rating from their freshman year, she was still somewhat inferior.
After all, after four years of study at the university, she was only an S-. And those two had started at an S-grade.
And now, as an internship task arranged by the pet tamer, she was receiving an investor who, according to the other party, was extremely wealthy and of high status.
How high?
It was said that several big shots who had been determined to get her, a newly promoted S-grade female pet, had quickly given up after hearing his name, without even hesitating.
Thinking this, Lu Jiajia secretly glanced at the blue-eyed young man beside her.
He had neither the ostentatious style of a nouveau riche with a gold chain and a famous watch, nor the elite temperament of a man in a suit and leather shoes.
A loose hoodie, faded jeans, and sneakers with a few mud spots on them—he looked exactly like a naive and stupid college student who had just enrolled and had not yet experienced the world.
And, most importantly, there was one point that Lu Jiajia couldn’t figure out.
Since getting in the car, apart from responding to her small talk, the young man had been engrossed in his phone and had not even given her an extra glance.
This was absolutely unacceptable in her previous reception cases. No matter what, as an intern, the other party could still feel her up and take advantage of her.
This was tacitly, and even explicitly, allowed by the college, in order to give the investors a feeling of being at home.
As if sensing her gaze, the blue-eyed young man suddenly looked up, his ice-blue pupils as cold as glass beads soaked in ice water.
“Is something wrong?”
“No.”
Lu Jiajia instantly put on a standard professional smile, her fingertips unconsciously clutching the corner of her pants, and she spoke as if unintentionally, “Mr. Qin, you look very young.”
“I’m still in college.”
“Then Mr. Qin, you must be graduating soon.”
“I just started my freshman year.”
Lu Jiajia’s smile instantly froze on her face. But the professional quality honed by four years of professional cultivation allowed her to quickly adjust her state.
Remembering the client’s preferences that the pet tamer had revealed, and thinking of her internship resume, the corner of her lips curled up slightly, and she slowly took off her long pants.
Under the long pants was not a large area of snow-white skin, but a pair of calves perfectly wrapped in black stockings, their shape long, straight, slender, and well-proportioned.
She gently moved her leg towards the young man’s hand. The intern’s lips curved into an ingratiating arc, stretching elegantly like a swan’s neck.
“Mr. Qin seems to have a soft spot for stockings. The road is long and tedious. Why not try my beautiful legs? Perhaps they can help you relieve your boredom, Mr. Qin.”
Before her words had even faded, the young man’s gaze did indeed fall on the black satin.
But to her surprise, after only a moment, the other party coldly averted his gaze.
“I have a girlfriend.”
“Please have some self-respect.”
Saying that, Qin Liang moved to the side, increasing the distance between them.
In that instant, Lu Jiajia’s carefully maintained smile completely shattered.
About ten minutes later, the scenery outside the car window had turned into a business district. The bustling commercial street was full of traffic. It was lunchtime, and the shops along the street were full of people.
The huge billboards, the traffic lights on the roadside, and the green belts along the street were all neatly trimmed. There were even female police officers in police uniforms on patrol. It was completely different from the large, ancient-style classroom that Tang Yunle had described.
Qin Liang looked out the window curiously.
“This is the social simulation classroom for the sophomore and junior sisters,” Lu Jiajia explained in a timely manner. “The freshman sisters have a normal class schedule, learning skills and improving their quality. But in their sophomore and junior years, they have to adapt to life in society, so that after they graduate in their senior year, they can easily enter society.”
At this time, the car drove into the street. The luxurious car body attracted frequent glances from passersby.
But after seeing the special logo on the car, the crowd quickly made way.
Until the vehicle arrived at its destination and the handover with the reception staff was completed, Lu Jiajia watched as Qin Liang left with the other party, and she couldn’t help but pout.
The information clearly stated that the other party was a severe leg and stocking fetishist. Among the senior female pets, her leg shape was considered perfect, but the other party wasn’t even willing to take a second look.
She had been receiving guests for so long, and this Mr. Qin was the most difficult to figure out. He had neither a casual, appraising gaze, nor did he make any move to feel her up. He was a completely abnormal investor.
Especially the way he looked at her…
Remembering that gaze, Lu Jiajia’s brows furrowed.
Unlike the covetous or scrutinizing gazes of previous investors, Qin Liang’s gaze was very plain. It was hard to describe. It was as if he were looking at someone of equal status.
Respect, courtesy, and equality. There was not a single trace of the way an investor should look at a commodity.
This completely negated the value of her existence. That feeling was even more uncomfortable than being directly rejected.
At the same time, Tang Yunle followed the pet tamer into the gilded and jade-inlaid building.
Crystal chandeliers hung down, and carved golden pillars supported the dome. There were also various senior beauties in gorgeous dresses acting as staff. Tang Yunle, a poor student, didn’t even know how to describe it.
The pet tamer leading the way was like a never-ending repeating machine, from etiquette to answering questions, she repeated the precautions for the meeting over and over again, just like a mother sending her daughter off to be married.
“I know, I know! Isn’t it just acknowledging a master? I’ve already memorized all that stuff.”
Tang Yunle interrupted her impatiently. “We’re already here. You should at least tell me the identity of my future master, right? At least reveal if he’s tall or short, fat or thin?”
The pet tamer pursed her lips in difficulty. “According to the rules, the investor’s information should be disclosed, but the other party has specifically requested confidentiality…”
After a moment’s hesitation, she lowered her voice. “All I can say at the moment is that he’s someone you know, and his family is very prominent.”
‘Someone I know?’
Tang Yunle’s footsteps paused.
In her life, she had known at least a thousand people. How could she possibly guess?
But since it had come to this, it was useless to ask any further questions.
On the bright side, although she had to be someone else’s pet, at least she had made a class leap. From now on, she would have no worries about food or drink, and would be rich for the rest of her life!
With a “creak,” the carved wooden door slowly opened. Tang Yunle stepped into the hall. Before her was a nine-meter-high classical space, the murals on the dome faintly visible in the candlelight.
A figure stood at the boundary of light and shadow, their back to the door, their silhouette outlined with sharp angles by the shadows.
She held her breath and approached. The person happened to turn around. She couldn’t see their face clearly in the dim light, only a pair of ice-blue pupils shining brightly, like two sapphires set in the night, extremely beautiful.
‘Ice-blue eyes… someone I know… a prominent family…’
The girl’s throat tightened, and a thought flashed through her mind.
Could it be…
And just then, the figure with the ice-blue eyes spoke, a familiar voice mixed with amusement echoing in the hall.
“Surprised? Unexpected?”
“I told you, I’ll protect you.”
Qin Liang opened his arms, his silhouette gradually becoming clear at the boundary of light and shadow. A smile hung on his lips, his tone half-teasing, half-affectionate.
“Be good, little female pet. Aren’t you going to give your godfather a big hug?”
“Of course, if you want to call me ‘daddy,’ I can accept that too.”

she seems kinda accepting of it? this is awful to say but she also asked for it; i mean if she wanted she could’ve done a normal job instead of (attempted) scamming of a terminally ill patient, only difference now is that she doesn’t get a choice
