Join the ServerThe one who should have died horribly suddenly appeared.
This bizarre sight instantly threw both the humans and demons present into extreme shock.
“Huh?”
Moye stared blankly at Luka, who was perfectly fine. Her lips trembled a few times, but for a moment she couldn’t utter a single word.
After spacing out for a while, she finally realized what had happened. Under the stimulation of going from despair to ecstasy, she only felt cold sweat breaking out, her limbs weak, her whole body as if drained of strength.
She barely managed to keep herself in flight, almost falling from the sky.
Alesia also looked shocked and puzzled. However, she was of noble birth and well-traveled, and already had a vague guess about the cause of this bizarre phenomenon, so she didn’t lose her composure.
Luka watched the two of them from afar and couldn’t help smiling bitterly.
She had seen everything, how Moye and Alesia reacted when they thought she had died. Alesia handled it better. Moye’s frantic behavior had genuinely startled her.
You might think Moye had lost a loved one… cough, cough, no, wait, you might think the two of them had some kind of scandalous relationship!
Could it really be, as she had guessed, that Moye was unconsciously projecting her feelings for her sister onto her?
Then it was probably better not to provoke her easily in the future…
She shook her head slightly to get rid of these random thoughts.
Luka’s cold gaze swept over the remaining twelve bat-winged fiends in the field.
The fiends had recovered from their shock, and their ferocity and killing intent once again took over their minds.
This weak Magica who killed two of their companions must pay the price!
“Magica! Kill!”
The bat-winged fiends simply ignored Moye and Alesia in the distance. All twelve flapped their wings in unison, formed an encirclement again, and lunged at Luka.
“Hmph.”
Luka snorted coldly, showing not the slightest hint of fear. In fact, she slung her magic gun onto her back and stood there with her arms crossed, waiting.
This arrogant display, combined with her contemptuous expression, enraged the fiends.
Boom, boom, boom!
Twelve magic guns raised and unloaded all their firepower at the defenseless Luka.
Seeing this, Moye and Alesia in the distance, despite having some trust in Luka, couldn’t help but breathe quickly, their hearts leaping to their throats.
Even an elite two-star magical girl would be instantly torn to shreds and blown apart by such dense firepower.
Sure enough.
Crack!
Luka’s shield managed to hold against two shots before shattering. The remaining magic bullets struck her small body without obstruction.
The contemptuous expression froze on her face. In an instant, her limbs were shattered, her chest and abdomen blown open, and her internal organs sprayed out like crushed water balloons.
Her body was completely torn into countless pieces, clearly dead beyond death.
“Kekeke!”
The bat-winged fiends burst into triumphant laughter. They seemed utterly contemptuous of this weak Magica who overestimated herself and tried to show off.
However, before the sneers had died down, a thunderous gunshot shattered all the fiends’ arrogance.
Bang!
Again, from behind the encirclement, another magic bullet charged to the limit!
This bullet had clearly been carefully calculated in its trajectory. First it pierced through one fiend’s head, blasting its brains out. Then, with undiminished force, it penetrated the wings of a second fiend.
The fiend lost control of its flight, screamed, and crashed to the ground, blood splattering everywhere.
Now, fourteen bat-winged fiends were reduced to ten.
The remaining fiends turned around in disbelief, watching Luka gradually emerge from the void.
The glowing inscriptions on the magic gun she held had not yet faded, showing that she had just used this very gun to easily shoot down two more fiends.
Simple and casual, like skewering candied hawthorns.
The fiends’ mocking expressions froze on their faces, then gradually turned to fear and panic.
Clearly, after experiencing the exact same development twice in a row, even their underdeveloped brains had realized the truth.
This was a bizarre magic they couldn’t understand!
This Magica before them possessed a terrifying ability they couldn’t comprehend or counter!
“What in the world is this bizarre magic? I’ve never heard of it!” Moye’s single eye was wide open. “Isn’t Luka’s exclusive magic crisis perception? Did she get incredibly lucky after her promotion and draw another super weapon?”
“You’ve never heard of it, and that’s right!” Alesia covered her lips, unable to hide the shock on her face. “Because this magic, which combines two powerful effects at once, is definitely a [Top-tier Magic] that appears once in ten thousand!”
“What did you say! Top-tier Magic?” Moye was taken aback and quickly asked, “Are you sure? That kind of highest-rarity magic, aside from those six-star magical girls, I’ve never heard of anyone getting it!”
“No mistake, look!” Alesia stretched out her hand, pointing at the gradually disappearing “corpse of Luka,” and said, “This should be some kind of illusion. With only one-star level magic power, she can create an illusion clone that even we two-star veterans can’t see through. Just this effect alone is at least a [High-tier Magic], second only to top-tier!”
Alesia then pointed at Luka’s gradually appearing figure. “Moreover, while leaving an illusion clone behind, she can also enter an invisible state. By the same reasoning, since we can’t see through that invisibility, it’s also at least a high-tier magic!”
As she said this, sweat had already formed on her forehead, and the corners of her eyes twitched slightly.
She paused for a while before continuing with difficulty, “The most terrifying thing is that she can use both states simultaneously, and the interval between two releases is unbelievably short! If this doesn’t count as top-tier magic, then I don’t know what does!”
Obviously, the fact that a magical girl recruit of just one-star, first rank could possess the most powerful and rare top-tier magic had struck a major blow to Alesia’s worldview.
After all, the magic a magical girl gains upon promotion is drawn at random from the entire spell list.
Even if you could specify the desired category, to draw a top-tier magic, a rarity among rarities, from the vast ocean of spells, that kind of luck was practically that of a chosen one.
“That’s great! Luka, that’s really great!” Moye was ecstatic, more excited to see Luka grow stronger than if she herself had become stronger.
But a moment later, her eyes turned a bit unnatural again.
“Wait, why don’t I feel the slightest bit envious or jealous?” Moye stared blankly, rubbing her chin. “This… this doesn’t seem right. With the old me, my first reaction would have been to scratch my head in envy, desperate to snatch it for myself, right?”
“What… what’s wrong with me!” Moye silently wailed in her heart.
As for the intense internal drama of Moye and Alesia, Luka naturally knew nothing about it. All her attention was on the bat-winged fiends in front of her.
Having used the same trick twice in a row, the fiends had become hesitant and wary. They looked at each other with terror in their eyes.
For a moment, not a single one dared to charge again.
