Join the ServerThe guest room had no clock, so there was no way of knowing how much time had passed. Yet, the window remained dark, confirming that dawn had not yet broken.
Pausing to catch his breath, he realized that Joon-hee had grown quiet at some point.
‘Is he asleep?’
He lightly tapped Joon-hee’s cheek, but there was no reaction; he truly seemed to be asleep. After all, the promised three times had long since passed, so it was only natural for him to be exhausted.
Slowly, he withdrew from Joon-hee, peeling off the constricting condom and taking hold of his still unsatisfied self.
While it was pleasurable to thrust into the perfectly yielding warmth, merely tracing each mark left on Joon-hee’s pale body was enough to ignite his senses.
“Haaah.”
Before long, a thinner stream of semen splattered onto Joon-hee’s stomach. Slowly blinking, he coated his hand with it and began to touch various parts of Joon-hee’s body.
First, his persistently bitten and sucked nipples; then, his parched lips; and finally, his neck, still flushed with engorgement.
‘How childish of me.’
He wasn’t a child who marked his possessions with saliva. Leaving such traces on Joon-hee wouldn’t change anything at all.
Perhaps if it were a method to permanently engrave his name, rather than just these fleeting marks.
‘No, this is better.’
The scars from giving birth to Seo-woo already bothered him; he didn’t want to leave any more marks on Joon-hee’s body.
He stopped his deepening thoughts for now and lay down beside Joon-hee. There was plenty of clean-up to do, but for the moment, he simply wanted to rest.
“Joon-hee.”
He called Joon-hee, even knowing he was asleep. No answer came, but the soft, even breaths were enough.
He gently brushed back Joon-hee’s disheveled hair, taking in the face that remained beautiful no matter how many times he saw it.
The shock of first seeing Joon-hee in a fleeting commercial remained unforgettable, even after all this time.
It was through Joon-hee that he realized someone beyond the screen could shine so brightly.
He had never felt any particular emotion watching someone act before, but Joon-hee was different.
When Joon-hee smiled on screen, he found himself smiling along. When Joon-hee cried, his own heart ached as if it were tearing apart.
“I want to act.”
His parents were surprised by their son’s sudden declaration, as they had believed he had no interest in such things.
However, as they were people who always gave him full autonomy, he was able to begin acting without significant opposition.
His sole goal was to meet Joon-hee, leading to worries about whether acting would suit him. These fears, however, proved entirely unfounded.
He had intended to gradually work his way up from being an extra with no lines, but he caught a director’s eye, and his screen time steadily increased.
Once his first project concluded successfully, work poured in. Even as he enjoyed the flood of offers from all directions, his gaze remained fixed on Joon-hee.
Fortunately, the opportunity arrived sooner than he expected.
The moment he received the script for Choi Yoon-hee’s new work,
He decided to appear in it without a moment’s hesitation. Then, he simply waited for the script reading day, when he would finally meet everyone involved in the project.
Of course, he could have sought out Joon-hee first, announcing their shared casting, but he worried it might make Joon-hee uncomfortable.
‘The more urgent it is, the slower one should go.’
Calming his excessive excitement, he imagined the scenario of finally meeting Joon-hee in person.
Should he confess the fan’s devotion he had harbored for so long, or simply state his respect for an admired senior?
He had run countless simulations, yet when he actually faced Joon-hee, his mind went completely blank.
He nearly fumbled, missing his chance to greet Joon-hee and almost ruining his first impression, but fortunately, he managed to recover.
When he bravely received Joon-hee’s number, he almost couldn’t contain himself, nearly leaping for joy right then and there.
It was his secret that, upon returning home that day, he had stared at the number Joon-hee had personally entered until it was practically worn out, memorizing it instantly.
Thus, by seeking out Joon-hee whenever their filming schedules overlapped, he evolved from a mere acquaintance to a close junior colleague.
Normally, he should have been satisfied with that alone, but strangely, his desires grew ever stronger.
Then one day, while reading a script in his car, he closed his eyes for a moment and found Joon-hee right beside him.
He was about to greet Joon-hee warmly, but as the drowsiness faded and his vision sharpened, Joon-hee’s appearance struck him as odd.
Joon-hee wore an oversized shirt that clearly wasn’t his, yet below, he was completely bare.
Taken aback by this unexpected sight of Joon-hee’s bare skin, which he had never seen before, he failed to realize that the entire situation was strange.
“S-senior?”
“Yes, Jung-ah.”
It was strange. Even though he had repeatedly asked to be called Jung, Joon-hee had stubbornly always addressed him as Seon Woo-jung.
Meanwhile, Joon-hee had leaned over and sat on top of him. As Joon-hee subtly rubbed against him, his uncooperative body part began to swell.
He might be severely misunderstood by Joon-hee because of this. What if Joon-hee came to despise him over this incident?
Perhaps death would be preferable.
“S-senior. Please stop…”
“Why? Wasn’t this what you wanted?”
“…What?”
He widened his eyes in confusion. He should have denied it, of course, but strangely, it felt as though he had been hit exactly where it hurt.
He had believed his feelings for Joon-hee were limited to mere admiration and respect.
“Jung-ah, be honest with yourself.”
Joon-hee drew closer and whispered. The moment that hot breath touched his ear, the reason he thought so solid quickly evaporated.
Just as he reached for the nape of Joon-hee’s neck in front of him, and their lips were about to meet, he woke up.
Everything vanished as if it were a mirage.
“Damn it…”
“What’s wrong? Is something the matter?”
His manager, who had heard the harsh expletive, asked. He dismissed the situation, saying it was nothing, then glanced at his swollen lower half and let out a wry chuckle.
It would be a lie to say he wasn’t confused, but his acceptance was swift. In hindsight, perhaps this was why his gaze had always drifted to Joon-hee’s lips whenever they met.
From then on, his goal changed. Being a close junior was no longer enough. He had to become closer to Joon-hee than anyone else.
Like a lover, for instance.
‘Now, even being lovers isn’t enough.’
Cutting short his ongoing recollections, he held the sleeping Joon-hee in his arms and inhaled deeply.
Even with Joon-hee so close, he didn’t know how to handle the deepening obsession that consumed him.
Even if he installed CCTV to watch Joon-hee all day, even if they were constantly intertwined, the sense of loss he had once experienced was so vast that he couldn’t control himself.
Therefore, he needed to be more firmly connected to Joon-hee. While completely eradicating his anxiety might be impossible, that method would surely be enough to counteract it.
‘Indeed, there’s no other way.’
Even without a tattoo, there was only one way to truly brand Joon-hee as his own.
Seo-woo would soon turn one, so before that, he needed to bring this drawn-out matter to an end. He could no longer delay.
“Don’t worry. I’ll take care of everything.”
Tomorrow promised to be an incredibly busy day.
****
[I might be a little late, so eat dinner first.]
[See you later.]
[I love you.]
He was reading the messages that had arrived in quick succession when Seo-woo, toddling along, bumped her forehead against his leg.
He expected her to cry from the thud of falling on her bottom, but instead, she giggled. He crouched down and laughed along with her.
“Daddy’s going to be late today, so it looks like it’ll just be the two of us for dinner.”
As if understanding his words, Seo-woo replied with a soft ‘Woong-woong.’ He knew it was unlikely, yet a soft chuckle escaped him.
“Come here.”
He carried the child to the dining room. There, he informed the ladies, who were busy preparing dinner, that Seon Woo-jung wouldn’t be joining them.
“What could be the matter? You always have dinner together.”
“I know. Perhaps work is keeping him busy.”
At home, he tended not to discuss work-related matters, stating he simply didn’t want to think about it.
He could only assume that was why Seon Woo-jung hadn’t given a specific reason for being late this time either.
‘Well, he’s not the type to lie.’
If it had been Han Jung-woo, he would have been uneasy, but the one beside him was Seon Woo-jung. Just as he himself was Yoo Joon-hee, not Yoo Seo-jin.
“Seo-woo, say ‘ah’.”
He scooped a large spoonful of baby food, brought by the sitter auntie, into Seo-woo’s mouth.
The sight of her small mouth opening to receive the food was like a little bird waiting for its meal.
“Our Seo-woo eats so well.”
Upon receiving praise, Seo-woo giggled and waved her short arms about. It was a frequent habit when she was in the best of moods.
“Let’s finish this, and then wait for Daddy.”
Even if Seon Woo-jung was late, he would surely be home before Seo-woo fell asleep. He planned to play with her and wait for him.
He knew Seon Woo-jung would have worked hard all day on difficult company matters, so he was sure he would love being greeted by both him and Seo-woo.
