Join the ServerI had drifted off to sleep while soothing Seo-woo, only to awaken in my own room. Knowing I couldn’t have returned alone in my slumber, I surmised he must have carried me back. After all, he always insisted we had to sleep together, no matter what.
‘What time could it be?’
A glance at the clock revealed the hour hand had just settled on seven. Perhaps it was the deep sleep, but I had risen a full hour earlier than my usual waking time.
Unsurprisingly, the space beside me lay vacant. Seon Woo-jung’s typical waking hour was six in the morning, so he would have been up and about long ago.
Seo-woo was still hours from waking, granting me the luxury of lingering in bed. Yet, an unfamiliar urge to start the day productively stirred within me.
‘It’s been a while; I should make myself some breakfast.’
To properly shake off my lingering drowsiness, I took a shower and changed into fresh clothes. Once my damp hair was perfectly dry, I exited the room and descended to the first floor.
I traversed the unlit living room, making my way to the dining area, only to find it deserted. A solitary, empty water glass rested in the sink, a silent testament to recent activity.
‘He must have already departed.’
The ever-diligent Seon Woo-jung had apparently already left for work. Postponing the pleasant thought of a shared breakfast, I began searching for something to appease my own hunger.
Inside the refrigerator, I discovered sandwiches and apple juice, thoughtfully prepared by the housekeepers. This selection would suffice perfectly for my morning meal.
As I settled at the dining table, raising a sandwich to my lips, a distinct ‘thud’ echoed from somewhere in the house.
‘What could that be?’
The enigmatic sound seemed to emanate from the guest room’s vicinity. Halting my meal, I carefully placed the sandwich down and rose from my seat.
‘Has someone arrived?’
Who would possibly pay a visit at such an ungodly hour? Swallowing a dry gulp, I discreetly began searching through the kitchen drawers.
Clutching a frying pan, ready to wield it if necessary, I cautiously made my way toward the guest room.
As I drew nearer, the subtle presence became undeniably clearer. Standing before the tightly shut door, I extended a hand towards the doorknob.
Taking a deep breath, I flung the door open in one swift motion. From the unlit darkness, a powerful, dense wave of pheromones surged forth.
‘What in the…’
The scent was so overwhelmingly potent that it seemed to make my very vision waver, stealing my breath.
With a deep frown etched on my face, I blindly felt along the wall, searching for the elusive light switch.
With a soft ‘click,’ the room was bathed in light. The first sight that greeted me was a scattering of clothes, discarded as if a skin had been shed.
My gaze slowly followed the trail, leading me to him, sprawled across the bed, clad only in his underwear.
‘So he slept in here.’
It was baffling why he’d chosen the guest room when his own perfectly good room was available. Nevertheless, I felt a wave of relief that the source of the unexpected presence was him.
I carefully lowered the frying pan I had been clutching to the floor, then began collecting the clothes he had strewn about, gathering them into a neat pile.
“Jung-ah.”
At the sound of his name, his shoulder twitched visibly. He slowly pushed himself upright, pressing a hand against his disheveled hair.
“Joon-hee hyung?”
His already low voice had sunk even deeper. With eyes half-lidded, he gazed at me, then offered a hazy smile.
“Did you sleep in here?”
“Yeeeah…”
He drew out the word, letting his body slump listlessly. His uncharacteristic demeanor seemed strange, and as I observed him more closely, it was clear something was amiss.
There were the pheromones, uncontrolled and overflowing, and his body temperature, which felt alarmingly high to the touch.
“Are you feeling unwell?”
“No? I don’t feel sick.”
I reached out and touched his forehead, confirming my suspicion—he was absolutely burning up. Could it be a fever? It was still chilly outside, and he had slept completely naked; catching a cold was almost inevitable.
“Let’s get some clothes on you first. If you keep lying around naked, your cold will only worsen.”
“But I’m hot…” he mumbled.
I brought the pile of clothes to him, who was still mumbling. He stumbled as he rose, then swayed precariously, losing his balance as he tried to slip one leg into his pants.
“Ah…”
He toppled back onto the bed, blinking his eyes in a rather foolish manner. Seeing him unable to even dress himself, struggling to control his own body, it was clear this was no ordinary sickness.
“Should I call the doctor?”
“It’s not that serious…”
“No, it *is* that serious.”
Fearing it would take him all day if left to his own devices, I dressed him myself. He chuckled artlessly, remarking that he felt like Seo-woo.
“Can you manage to walk?”
“Hmm, I’m not sure.”
He then extended a hand, requesting I hold him steady to prevent a fall. Granting his wish, I took his hand, and he slowly rose to his feet.
“I won’t be able to go to work today.”
“Of course not. How could you possibly go to the office in this condition?”
“Right?”
A faint, satisfied smile played on his lips, suggesting he was rather pleased about not having to go to work. He really ought to prioritize his health; he was truly foolish.
“Don’t try to rush your steps.”
“Yes, I won’t,” he replied, like an obedient child. He then straightened his body, which had been leaning to one side. Though he swayed slightly, he fortunately reached the second floor without a fall.
Complaining of stickiness from the night’s sweat, he expressed a desire to shower. I debated whether to assist him with washing, but he assured me he could manage that much on his own.
Though concern gnawed at me, I acquiesced to his stubbornness, helping him only with undressing and guiding him into the bathroom.
While he was showering, I contacted his personal physician. Upon hearing that the doctor would arrive within the hour, I concluded the call.
‘I’ve never seen him this unwell before.’
I, as Yoo Joon-hee, had always been prone to minor ailments, but he was not. Even in his time as Seon Woo-jung, I had never witnessed him in such a state of illness.
‘The doctor will be here soon, so he should be alright.’
Relieved of some of my worry, I waited for him to emerge. A moment later, the distinct sound of water from beyond the door abruptly ceased.
‘Oh, right. His clothes…’
Realizing belatedly that I hadn’t brought him a change of clothes, I was about to head to the dressing room when the bathroom door swung open.
He emerged, a towel haphazardly perched atop his wet hair, enveloped in a cloud of pristine white steam.
I could understand him not being dressed, as I hadn’t provided any clothes. However, even with a bathrobe surely available inside, he stood completely naked.
“Where’s your robe?”
“It felt too stuffy, so I didn’t put it on.”
Water droplets, having gathered in his thoroughly damp hair, dripped steadily downwards. Some splattered onto the floor, while others trickled over the firm expanse of his chest.
My gaze, unconsciously trailing the descending droplets, snapped quickly away. A blush of acute embarrassment heated my face.
“I’ll get you some clothes. Just wait right here.”
“It’s fine, though.”
“No, it’s not. You have a cold—” I began, only to be cut off with a gasp.
He took a swift stride forward, seizing my shoulder with a forceful grip as I attempted to turn away. It wasn’t excruciating, but it certainly stung, as he wasn’t moderating his strength as he usually did.
“Hyung, I don’t think I have a cold.”
He bent at the waist, his lips brushing against my ear as he whispered. Sensing the atmosphere shift into something viscous and heavy, I attempted to push him away, yet my hands felt utterly devoid of strength.
“Jung-ah, please, just let go of me for a moment…”
“Joon-hee hyung.”
Something firm pressed and rubbed against my stomach. The familiar sensation made me halt my words, and I subtly lowered my gaze.
Indeed, it was his cock. And an incredibly engorged one at that.
I mused on the sudden surge of arousal, though a moment’s reflection reminded me this wasn’t the first time he’d acted this way without any apparent context.
However, the doctor was due to arrive shortly, so I absolutely had to get him dressed beforehand. Welcoming a guest in this state was simply out of the question.
“Jung-ah, let’s get some clothes on you first. The doctor will be here any moment.”
“Hyung, your scent… it’s so intoxicating.”
“Jung-ah, pull yourself together!” I exclaimed, my voice sharp.
At my sudden outburst, he abruptly swept me into his arms. I was too stunned to struggle, and the next thing I knew, I was being carried to the bed.
A soft gasp escaped my lips.
Immediately, his lips claimed mine, and a hot hand plunged beneath my clothes. Whether it was the overwhelming, uncontrolled pheromones or not, my body was languidly relaxing, preparing to yield to him despite my own will.
“Open your mouth,” he murmured, his voice not entirely gentle.
At his not-entirely-gentle command, I parted my tightly sealed lips. As his hot tongue thoroughly explored the recesses of my mouth, my vision repeatedly blurred and refocused.
Just as I was about to cling to him, completely forgetting the imminent arrival of the doctor, a discreet knock sounded at the door.
Startled, I immediately pushed him away, hastily smoothing down my disheveled clothes. I quickly threw a blanket over his naked form, then cautiously opened the door a crack.
“What is the matter?”
“The doctor has arrived.”
Though flustered by the unexpectedly early arrival, I quickly requested the housekeeper to guide him, then closed the door.
‘I need to get him dressed first.’
He absolutely could not be examined in such a state, so my immediate priority was to find clothes for him to wear.
As I pulled back the blanket, he, who had been in a daze, slowly blinked his eyes at me. Fortunately, his arousal had quietly subsided.
“Let’s get you dressed.”
“But it’s stuffy…”
“Do you really want to be examined completely naked with the doctor here?”
Apparently disliking that notion, he ceased his grumbling and obediently began to dress. However, his movements were so agonizingly slow that my impatience got the better of me, and I ended up dressing him myself once more.
“Seo-woo would probably get dressed faster than you.”
“Really? Our daughter must be all grown up, then.”
I wanted to chastise him for his pleased expression, but given his poor condition, I decided to hold my tongue. Having dressed him, I gently guided him back onto the bed.
“The doctor will be here soon. You need to lie still and behave.”
“Yes, I will,” he replied, offering a gentle smile. As I stroked his feverish face, he leaned his cheek into my hand.
“Don’t be sick.”
“Yes, I won’t.”
