Chapter 102: A Teacher’s Return: Modern Comforts and Awkward Encounters

My words plunged Chen Yunsong into a long silence. He stood there, stiff as steel flash-frozen, his face a grim iron mask.

His brow furrowed deeply, his penetrating gaze sweeping over me. A flicker of barely concealed panic darted through his usually calm eyes.

Through those eyes, I seemed to step into his vision, to see through those tiny pupils the mentor I once knew—now transformed into a charming, seductive young girl.

I saw the slender, lithe figure, the porcelain-white skin, the gently curled, silky hair—a provocative, wanton creature.

After a long moment, Chen Yunsong finally rose and retrieved a file from the cabinet.

His movements seemed stiff, as if battling an inner struggle.

Opening the folder, he pulled out a sheet of paper and placed it before me. His voice regained its former rigor: “I’ll give you ten minutes. Explain this problem…”

I took the paper. The moment my eyes fell on the problem, familiar memories swirled in my mind like a vortex. The sluggish feeling, as if greased with oil, slowly melted away.

It was a problem he had taught in class, involving complex theories and logical reasoning.

Looking at the handwriting on the paper, countless past recollections surged in my heart, as if I had returned to those years filled with knowledge and passion.

“This problem…”

I lifted my head, my gaze resolute. Though my body’s changes made me appear young and innocent, the calm and wisdom within remained.

With a long-lost confidence, I began to speak slowly, “Involves the following formulas…”

I spoke for far more than ten minutes.

Chen Yunsong, who had been flustered at first, gradually became incredulous, then finally sat stunned and silent.

At last, he tremblingly took a cigarette from the pack beside him, his voice slightly shaky: “I… I’ll go smoke by the window. Wait a moment…”

He turned and walked to the window, his shadow stretching long under the light.

Through the window, the outside world remained noisy, a stark contrast to the heavy atmosphere at this moment.

I could hear the faint sound of him lighting the cigarette. Smoke slowly rose, swirling around him, as if trying to mask those bewildered thoughts.

I waited quietly in the chair, but wasn’t my heart equally complex?

Time felt unusually long. The air was thick with the smell of tobacco, laced with a trace of anxiety.

Suddenly, he slowly turned around: “Ten years… Teacher, you… have you really come back?”

Amid the swirling smoke, his expression seemed dazed.

At that moment, I felt my heart leap—like someone just declared dead suddenly regaining a pulse in the morgue.

“Yes, Yunsong. I really have come back!”

I stood up excitedly and walked over to him, my voice carrying an irrepressible thrill. “Absolutely!”

I wanted to pat this student’s shoulder like before, but as I reached out, I realized he was now much taller than me.

No, it was that I had become much shorter than him.

This student, who once wasn’t as tall as me, now required me to stand on tiptoe to pat his shoulder. The embarrassment hit me.

We stared at each other for a moment, then he awkwardly turned his face away, his ears reddening: “Um, Teacher, maybe… you should change clothes first.”

“Huh?”

I was taken aback, then looked down at my chest—the tight, water-stained fabric clinging to me…

“Ah… right, right…”

After stripping off the soiled maid outfit, I enjoyed a hot shower in the bathroom.

“Mmm~ That feels so good~”

Having gone so long without the convenience of modern technology, I soaked like a cave person for ages.

Or maybe it was because this female body really enjoyed the sensation of warm, slippery liquid gliding over its skin.

When I came out of the bathroom, a pink pajama set lay on the floor, with underwear beside it.

There was a note next to them: “These are my daughter’s clothes. She’s traveling recently. Please make do for now.”

I stared at the folded clothes on the floor, then glanced back at the maid outfit in the laundry basket.

Indeed, back in modern times, it’s better to wear something proper. If I went out in that maid outfit again, I’d probably be mistaken for a cosplayer.

I picked up the clothes and walked into a nearby room. The decor was all pink and cute—must be Chen Yunsong’s daughter’s room.

Sitting on the edge of the bed, feeling the softness of the modern mattress, I felt my heart thumping.

Nervous, sneaking into a young girl’s room to change clothes…

But I’m a woman now too, so it shouldn’t be too offensive, right?

Pushing aside those somewhat lecherous thoughts, I pulled off the towel wrapped around me.

After the hot water, my sweat-stained skin had become much cleaner and fresher, revealing a pale pink undertone. The bruises on my knees and scars on my shins still remained, those reddish marks adding a pitiful touch to this body.

But according to what Mankha had revealed earlier, the Witch’s body has strong regenerative abilities. Unless beheaded or burned to death, these wounds should heal on their own.

I knew this firsthand—the whip marks Miss Cassina left on my back and arms were now completely invisible. Though I didn’t really care about scars, it’s better to avoid leaving them if possible.

“The underwear and bra are still sealed? Must be her daughter’s unused ones…”

I tore open the underwear packaging and, following my memory, stretched the waistband and slowly pulled it up from my feet.

The modern fabric was comfortable, much softer than the low-grade cloth of that world, without the roughness that chafed skin red.

Once fully fitted, I no longer felt that bare, chilly sensation.

Still, I think bloomers would be better. These modern triangle styles, with thick thighs, often give a weird feeling of being wedged into the flesh.

After being a woman for so long, I still haven’t fully adjusted…

“Huh? How does this… huh?”

I ran into some trouble putting on the bra.

Never having worn a modern bra, I reverse-engineered the method from how I used to remove my wife’s.

Partly due to inexperience, and partly because Chen Yunsong’s daughter’s size seemed different from mine, I struggled quite a bit in front of the mirror.

I tried for ages, but the clasps just wouldn’t fasten.

Looking at my indecent assets, bitterness welled up inside.

Given the maturity of this face, this body had developed far too early.

This obscene size not only made daily life inconvenient but also tempted others to sin.

I finally gave up struggling and found a women’s tank top from the wardrobe, slipping it on to barely cover the protrusions.

“Knock knock knock—”

Just then, Chen Yunsong’s voice came from outside the door: “Teacher, can we talk now?”
