Chapter 19: Mu Yutong

How does that saying go again? A woman’s mind is a riddle you can never solve, no matter how hard you try.

Take right now, for instance. Ye Feng genuinely could not comprehend what this woman was doing.

Last night, she hadn’t touched him at all; she had simply wrapped her arms around him and slept. This morning, she had actually woken up early to cook him breakfast, acting as though she cared about him immensely.

She had been so freezing cold and furious yesterday, acting as though she wanted to stay as far away from him as humanly possible. Yet, over the span of a single night, her attitude had warped into something completely bizarre.

Mu Yuchen’s internal state was equally tangled. She didn’t know how to articulate the chaotic mess of emotions swirling inside her. She felt deeply conflicted, thoroughly lost, and desperately wanted to avoid the issue entirely—to pretend as though nothing had ever happened. But the reality that he had been defiled was an absolute, unalterable fact.

Regardless of whether she possessed a psychological aversion to filth, no ordinary woman could ever tolerate sharing her man with someone else.

Drowning in a suffocating silence, the two of them finished their breakfast.

Once Mu Yuchen departed, Ye Feng attempted to climb out of bed. Although his entire body was still racked with dull, lingering aches, walking was no longer a massive struggle.

Mu Yuchen’s attitude toward him seemed to have shifted slightly, meaning he might not have to worry about being starved to death anytime soon. But that was merely a possibility.

Ye Feng refused to pin his entire survival on a volatile “maybe.”

If he anchored his entire existence to her whim, what would happen if his nightmare came true? What if she brought home a brand-new s*ave, completely discarded him, and left him to rot? What would he do then?

Therefore, escaping remained an absolute necessity. Even if she started treating him like royalty, it wouldn’t alter his core conviction. However, since she was suddenly playing nice, he could absolutely exploit this shift to his advantage.

Upon arriving at the corporate headquarters, Mu Yuchen walked straight toward Du Xiaowen’s workstation.

Du Xiaowen kept her head buried in her documents, diligently executing her tasks. She had caught the heavy click of footsteps approaching and knew exactly who was looming over her desk.

Yet she didn’t dare lift her eyes. Her mind was frantically building psychological defenses, repeating a frantic mantra over and over: I didn’t expose myself. She doesn’t know. But if she truly hadn’t been exposed, why was the boss walking directly toward her?

“Xiaowen, you called in sick yesterday. Why didn’t you inform me personally?”

“I…”

“I heard you took a medical leave. Did you catch a cold? If it’s a cold, why are you breaking out in such a heavy sweat?”

As Mu Yuchen spoke, she extended a hand and tapped Du Xiaowen’s shoulder with measured force.

Du Xiaowen froze entirely, her body trembling violently under the touch.

“Get some proper rest. The company is currently navigating a critical expansion phase. I don’t want to hear that this project failed because of your illness.”

Mu Yuchen retracted her hand, spun around, and strode straight into her private executive suite. With those parting words, she was explicitly signaling to her assistant: Right now is a vital corporate window, so I won’t move against you. As for whether the chick possessed the cognitive capacity to read between the lines, that was entirely up to her.

Huff…

Du Xiaowen exhaled a massive, shuddering breath. She wasn’t entirely certain if she had been conclusively caught, but the statistical probability leaned heavily toward “yes.”

If that was truly the case, then she… she absolute had to go find that little man again! At the very least, before she met her demise, she needed to enjoy herself one more time. No, a single time wasn’t nearly enough—she needed to ride him multiple times.

As the saying went, To die beneath a peony flower is to remain a romantic ghost even in death. She was thoroughly determined to be a hedonistic ghost.

She would make her move tonight!

As for Mu Yuchen… wouldn’t it be even more exhilarating if the boss watched them do it?

Ah, she couldn’t take it anymore. She needed to head to the restroom to clean herself up immediately.

“Yuchen, are you attending the annual family banquet this year?”

“No need, Mother. You know I have zero intention of going.”

“Oh… alright then.”

The voice on the opposite end of the line was distinctly deflated. Mu Yuchen felt a minor twinge of guilt, but her decision remained unshakeable. She had absolutely no desire to squander precious operational hours exchanging superficial pleasantries with a pack of unmotivated, corporate parasites.

“Right! Your little sister, Yutong, mentioned she wanted to head over to your city to hang out with you for a bit. Keep an eye out for her.”

“Why the hell would that brat be coming to my place?”

“Yuchen, I know you don’t like her, but she is still your younger sister. The two of you need to maintain closer contact.”

“I understand. When is she arriving?”

“She set off a few days ago. She should be reaching your area sometime today or tomorrow.”

“Got it. Hanging up now, Mom!”

Mu Yuchen ended the call, her brow furrowing into a deep, tight knot. Mu Yutong—her younger sister—was her mother’s illegitimate daughter from an affair, and stood firmly as one of her most loathed individuals on the planet. The girl was a textbook definition of a devious, calculating schemer.

Why was she suddenly showing up? Her corporation was currently balancing on a critical knife’s edge, forcing Mu Yuchen to suspect that the brat was targeting her business assets.

In an instant, a fully-fleshed corporate drama played out in her imagination: The illegitimate daughter plots to ruin her biological older sister, successfully usurps the throne, and seizes total control of the family empire. It wasn’t a case of paranoia; Mu Yutong and her deadbeat father were thoroughly toxic individuals. They could easily delude her gullible mother, but they could never pull the wool over her eyes.

Meanwhile, the very individual causing Mu Yuchen such intense psychological alarm had already materialized right outside the villa’s front door.

Ye Feng honestly felt that Mu Yuchen needed to install a pair of stone guardian lions outside her gates to ward off evil spirits. Otherwise, why the hell did random people keep invading this house?

The girl standing before him possessed a waterfall of long, golden hair and a pair of eyes that resembled pristine blue sapphires. She was currently wheeling a sleek black suitcase, clad in a fitted black leather jacket with her hair pulled into a high, rigid ponytail. She looked exceptionally fierce and cool—but that was purely on the surface. Her physical stature completely sabotaged the intimidating aura she was trying to project.

While Ye Feng’s current height had shrunk down to roughly 150 centimeters, the little girl standing before him topped out at a mere 140 centimeters.

“Who are you?”

Even though the intruder looked like a mere middle-schooler, Ye Feng was physically weaker than her. He absolute did not want a repeat performance of yesterday’s nightmare.

“Wow. I never would have guessed my uptight older sister was hiding a little man away in her house. And here I thought she was a total lesbian.”

The girl murmured to herself, casually strolling right past him. Reaching out, her fingers toyed with the sleek electronic collar locked around Ye Feng’s neck.

Ye Feng swallowed hard, completely paralyzed. For reasons he couldn’t explain, this tiny girl radiated a profoundly dangerous, predatory vibe.

“Have you and my sister… done it yet?”

Mu Yutong extended her index finger, hooking it beneath Ye Feng’s chin to tilt his face upward, meticulously studying his features. Ye Feng felt the entire scenario was utterly farcical. Having his chin toyed with by a literal child felt infinitely more absurd than the fact that he had been violated.

Ye Feng’s face was breathtakingly beautiful—so much so that even she found herself momentarily captivated by his looks. Despite having encountered countless attractive men in her social circles, she had to begrudgingly admit that the boy before her completely outclassed every single one of them by a landslide.

“Who exactly is your sister?”

Ye Feng shifted his weight backward, breaking her physical grip on his chin.

“Mu Yuchen, obviously. Don’t tell me you didn’t even know her name?” As Mu Yutong spoke, she lunged inward, closing the distance between them once more.

So Mu Yuchen is her full name, Ye Feng noted internally. But right as his mind was parsing this information, a hand abruptly reached down and clamped firmly around his crotch.

“Mmph!~”

Ye Feng let out a muffled gasp of pure agony, his entire body instantly losing all structural integrity as he collapsed limply onto the sofa cushions.

“Yup. You guys have definitely done it.”

Mu Yutong retracted her hand, her tone carrying a distinct note of disappointment. It was a genuine tragedy that a male of this caliber hadn’t been claimed by her first, falling instead into the clutches of her thoroughly obnoxious older sister.

“What’s your name?”

Ye Feng offered zero response. The sudden, agonizing squeeze had sent a blinding shockwave through his nerves, and he hadn’t recovered enough breath to articulate words.

“Not speaking? If you keep your mouth shut, I might just have to give you another squeeze!” A sweet, adorable smile bloomed across her face. Paired with her pristine features, she looked like a literal angel—except this angel was casually executing the whims of a demon.

“My name is Ye Feng!”

“Ah, what a compliant little boy.”

If Ye Feng’s ears weren’t deceiving him, her tone a moment ago had been dripping with profound disappointment. Disappointed your grandpappy! he screamed internally.
