Chapter 9: Ye Feng in Danger!

“Wake up, stop sleeping!”

“Don’t bother me, let me sleep a bit longer…”

Lying on the bed, Ye Feng felt a hand pushing his shoulder. He waved his arm casually to break free from it, preparing to turn over and keep sleeping.

He was too tired—so tired that he didn’t want to wake up at all, wishing he could just sleep forever like this.

As his upper body shifted, his supple waist slowly followed. But right at that moment, a sudden, fierce wave of soreness and pain shot through his lower back.

Having just turned over, Ye Feng frowned. Even though it hurt immensely, his overwhelming exhaustion made him want to stay asleep, but the pain showed no signs of fading.

After enduring it for a while, Ye Feng couldn’t take it anymore. He prepared to roll his body back to his original position to continue his comfortable slumber.

However, he overbalanced his own physical state. With just a slight movement, that intense, aching pain multiplied several times over, causing his tightly closed eyes to snap wide open.

The very first thing he saw upon opening his eyes was a pair of furious eyes staring right back at him. It scared him so badly that he instinctively shrank back, but this movement forced his aching waist to twist again. Left with no choice, he slumped weakly back onto the bed, his face twisted in pain.

Mu Yuchen seemed to notice that something was wrong with Ye Feng’s state, and her angry expression softened slightly.

“Put these clothes on in a bit and come out with me.”

Mu Yuchen tossed the bundle of clothing directly onto Ye Feng’s face.

Feeling the fabrics against his face, Ye Feng thought he caught a faint, lingering fragrance, though he wasn’t sure if it was just an illusion.

But the sharp pain radiating from his lower back left him with neither the desire nor the ability to focus on such subtle details.

He had no idea what had happened. Why did his lower back hurt so much? It felt exactly as if he had been harvested—and both sides at that.

Could I really have had my kidneys stolen?

At that thought, he forgot all about the pain. Using both arms to support himself, he laboriously dragged his body backward until his back hit the wall.

But the cost of doing this was forcing his aching waist to support his entire upper body, which only intensified the agonizing pain.

After completing this frantic maneuver, he ripped away the pink JK uniform that had fallen over his chest, tossed the blanket aside, and looked down anxiously at his torso.

“Phew!~”

Seeing his smooth, flat, and fair stomach, Ye Feng finally let out a massive sigh of relief. Thank goodness he didn’t see a bloody mess or a wound crudely stitched together with needle and thread; otherwise, he really would have cried himself to death.

Perhaps because his mood had improved, Ye Feng felt that the ache in his lower back wasn’t quite as sharp as it had been a moment ago.

Though he still couldn’t fathom why his waist was in such agonizing shape, at the very least, he was in one piece and still breathing.

“Huh? It feels like I forgot something…”

Once he calmed down, Ye Feng felt a lingering sense of distraction. He looked around the room with some confusion until his gaze landed on a certain pink JK uniform…

“Put these clothes on in a bit and come out with me.”

The woman’s icy words echoed in his mind. Shaking, he extended a hand and slowly lifted the pink outfit.

Refusing to give up hope, he scanned the entire area, even forcing himself to endure the pain to shift his position, but he still failed to find any other clothes besides this single outfit.

“F*ck! You want this grandaddy to wear this kind of crap? In your dreams!”

Ye Feng grabbed the clothes, crumpled them up, and threw them violently onto the floor. If he were able to move right now, he would have jumped out of bed just to stomp on them a few times.

That woman was going too far. Ye Feng felt a sudden urge to murder her; killing a man’s spirit was one thing, but forcing him to crossdress when he was already in this pathetic state? Was she trying to humiliate him? It was utterly detestable!

Alongside his anger, a wave of grievance washed over him. Why did it have to be like this? Even if he was a s*ave, he had already been treated so brutally—did he really have to suffer this kind of humiliation too?

Before he knew it, tears were welling up in his large, bright eyes. It felt like even the slightest bit of further provocation would cause them to spill over completely.

However, what Ye Feng didn’t know was that the so-called “female clothing” in this world was actually mostly designed for men—especially the skirts. Meanwhile, women’s fashion leaned heavily toward what men wore in Ye Feng’s previous world. So strictly speaking, this wasn’t crossdressing at all; it was standard male attire here.

Having just finished her business, Mu Yuchen walked through the door and caught sight of this exact scene.

Instantly, a surge of unprovoked anger flared up in her chest. She had kindly provided this s*ave with clothes to wear, and he actually threw them onto the floor?

Mu Yuchen knew very well that some of the truly twisted masters out there wouldn’t give their slaves any clothes at all; they preferred to let them crawl around the courtyard entirely naked.

Compared to them, someone like her who provided clothes—and such fashionable ones at that—could already be considered exceptionally benevolent.

Yet, face-to-face with her kindness, her s*ave refused to accept it. Was he treating her good intentions like garbage?

“Gulp!~”

Ye Feng, who was feeling thoroughly aggrieved, suddenly felt a pang of regret upon seeing Mu Yuchen’s furious expression. Of course, it was just pure regret, not fear! He, Ye Feng, was a man of iron resolve who didn’t even fear death, so why would he fear this?

Mu Yuchen stared down at Ye Feng with an icy glare for a long moment before turning sharply on her heel and leaving the room.

Watching her retreating back, Ye Feng felt a terrible premonition. But wearing that kind of outfit was something he truly couldn’t accept! He wasn’t some crossdressing enthusiast, nor had he ever intended to become one. If he wore it, would he even be a man anymore? He absolutely wouldn’t wear it!

Determined to stand his ground, Ye Feng still felt a lingering sense of unease. He slowly drifted his gaze down toward the clothes piled on the floor. If—just hypothetically speaking—he put the damn things on right now, would she stop being angry?

No, he couldn’t fall that far. How could a firm resolution be changed so easily? He had to maintain his bottom line and stand firm!

Meanwhile, Mu Yuchen walked out with a cold expression, pulled out her phone, and dialed a number.

“Xiaowen, are you almost here? Did you buy the items I asked for?”

“I’ve already bought them, Sister Chen.”

On the other end of the line, a cute girl with large, round glasses and two small braided pigtails responded in a soft, gentle voice.

“Mm.”

With a brief acknowledgment, Mu Yuchen hung up the phone. She looked back coldly at her bedroom door. Since today was a day off, she had plenty of time to properly break in her little… s*ave.

On the other side of town, Du Xiaowen was driving over, her mind filled with a few inappropriate thoughts.

Don’t be fooled by her usual demeanor as Mu Yuchen’s secretary—meek, yielding, and easily pushed around on the surface. Internally, she possessed a hidden side that even her boss knew nothing about.

She recalled the day Mu Yuchen asked her to come over to the villa and bring a doctor along. At the time, she had assumed Mu Yuchen was sick. Since they had only spoken over the phone while she was rushing to commute, she hadn’t realized her boss was already at the company. Upon receiving the order, she immediately grabbed a doctor from the hospital and rushed to the villa without stopping.

The moment she stepped through the door, she saw the iron cage. Peering inside, she discovered the little man.

Though Mu Yuchen hadn’t explained anything, looking around the entire empty villa, it was obvious that this little guy was the only one who required medical attention. Furthermore, being told to clear out a room made the instructions plain enough.

Boasting an undeniable efficiency, she immediately arranged everything. After finishing up and sending the doctor away, she boldly chose not to head to the company right away, but instead slipped back into the villa.

That was when Ye Feng had experienced those hazy, tactile sensations during his sleep. Of course, she had limited herself to merely touching him and hadn’t done anything truly out of line.

Now, thinking about the specific items her boss had instructed her to purchase today, she licked her lips, a sly, wicked smile replacing the cute expression on her face.
