Chapter 22: Escape

“You…”

“Shh!”

Mu Yutong extended a slender finger, pressing it firmly against Ye Feng’s lips.

“Keep your voice down. You wouldn’t want my sister to discover what’s going on between the two of us, would you?”

She leaned in closer, a sharp glint in her sapphire eyes. “Let me tell you a little secret. My sister has a massive psychological aversion to anything she considers filthy. If she ever finds out that you’ve been touched by me, she won’t hesitate to throw you away like a piece of garbage!”

Ye Feng fell completely silent. This was exactly what he had been terrified of. Although he desperately wanted to escape this living hell, being discarded into the unknown was an entirely different story.

His understanding of this parallel world was still surface-level and shallow, but he could easily deduce what happened to those who were cast aside by powerful women. They either lived a brutal, volatile life on the streets, or their souls had long since departed this mortal coil.

Wait… perhaps I can exploit her, he realized. Although negotiating with this brat was no different than plotting with a man-eating tiger, if he played his cards right and remained exceptionally cautious, it could be his ticket out of here.

“What’s swirling around in that pretty little head of yours?”

Mu Yutong picked up a piece of meat with her chopsticks, popping it into her mouth. She watched the little man with an amused, sugary smile, thoroughly enjoying the sight of him deep in calculation.

“Can you help me escape from here?”

Hearing his question, Mu Yutong’s hand froze mid-air for a fraction of a second. However, she recovered her composure almost instantly, her sweet smile returning to her face.

“And why on earth would I help you?”

Mu Yutong suddenly found the man before her incredibly naive. Escape? Who gave him the sheer audacity to even harbor that thought? And to demand her assistance on top of it? Based on what authority?

“If you don’t help me, I’ll tell her exactly what you did to me today! We’ll drag each other down to hell together!” Ye Feng hissed, his eyes widening in a fierce, vicious glare.

Yet, given his breathtakingly delicate facial features, masking his face with a “savage” expression failed to project a single ounce of real menace. After all, who could possibly feel threatened by a boy looking so thoroughly, adorably fierce?

“I’m not helping you, and you are never escaping this house. Give up.”

The sugary facade completely melted from Mu Yutong’s face, her expression turning cuttingly cold.

“You—”

SLAP!

“Imbecile!”

Mu Yutong spun on her heel and strode out of the bedroom. She had absolutely zero desire to waste another syllable on this man. He was simply too stupid.

Ye Feng clamped a hand over his stinging, flushed cheek, staring venomously at the doorway where Mu Yutong had just vanished.

In an instant, an overwhelming wave of grievance and suffocating resentment swirled within his chest. Before he could stop them, hot tears spilled over his lower lids and cascaded down his face.

Why? Why is all of this happening to me? Do I seriously not even deserve to be viewed as a human being?

I’m a person! A living, breathing human being with basic human rights! Every single woman who encounters me violates me, and now they think they can just beat me too? Based on what? Why?! What right does she have to put her hands on me?! Why?! (┯_┯)

“Sob… huff… ugh…”

Oh, my poor little man is crying. Please don’t weep, sweetheart. Seeing you cry breaks my heart entirely!

Outside the window, a hidden silhouette took in the entire spectacle. Standing flat against the exterior wall, Du Xiaowen felt a towering wave of absolute hatred well up in her chest against the girl who had just struck her precious little man.

After clocking out of work, she hadn’t gone back to her apartment at all. Instead, she had bolted straight over to the villa, meaning everything that had transpired inside the bedroom had been meticulously captured by her eyes.

She had heard her little man explicitly state his desperate desire to flee this prison. Yet that vile brat had refused to aid him, had struck his face, and had reduced him to a weeping mess.

Her little man was only allowed to be brought to tears by her. He belonged to her to be ravaged, broken, and tormented. If he was going to cry, he was only permitted to cry for her eyes.

Inside the main house, after taking a hot shower, Mu Yuchen originally intended to head down to Ye Feng’s room. However, recalling that her younger sister was still lurking inside the villa, she ultimately abandoned the idea and stayed in her own quarters.

Meanwhile, Mu Yutong, well aware that executing any illicit activities directly under her older sister’s nose was a tactical error, also refrained from visiting Ye Feng’s room again.

Downstairs, Ye Feng lay flat on his mattress after showering, his mind far too wired to permit sleep. As the hours ticked by with agonizing slowness, the dead of night arrived. The vast majority of the city had long since drifted into deep slumber, and Ye Feng’s eyelids were finally growing heavy, hovering right on the precipice of unconsciousness.

Rustle… scratch…

Suddenly, a stealthy, scraping friction echoed from the window frame, instantly jolting Ye Feng back into absolute alertness.

Snapping his head toward the window, his eyes ran right into a leg—a gorgeous, slender leg tightly encased in a premium black stocking, looking exceptionally sleek and enticing.

However, what truly arrested Ye Feng’s attention wasn’t the aesthetic appeal of the leg, but the reality that only a single limb had made it through the frame. Du Xiaowen was currently stuck, awkwardly scrambling and thrashing as she desperately tried to squeeze the rest of her body into the bedroom.

The exact second his eyes locked onto Du Xiaowen, Ye Feng deciphered her operational objective. There was zero doubt that she had returned to forcefully ride him again. Yet, he didn’t feel a single drop of panic—because this was the exact tactical opening he had been waiting for.

Stepping swiftly over to the window, he unlatched the frame and threw it wide open, catching Du Xiaowen completely off guard.

Du Xiaowen’s eyes practically warped into literal hearts. Her precious little man had actually moved to personally open the window for her! Did this mean that deep within his subconscious, he had finally opened the window of his heart to let her in?

The exact millisecond she breached the bedroom interior, Du Xiaowen lunged forward, wrapping her arms tightly around Ye Feng’s frame. She puckered her lips, moving to plant a deep, possessive kiss on his mouth.

But with a swift tilt of his head, Ye Feng easily dodged her lips. Staring back into her thoroughly perplexed eyes, Ye Feng spoke, his voice carrying a calculated, heavy weight.

“Do you… do you actually love me?”

“I… I love you! Of course I love you! You are the absolute center of my universe, I adore you more than life itself!”

Du Xiaowen pulled Ye Feng flush against her chest with desperate intensity. Perhaps initially, she hadn’t harbored genuine affection for him—viewing him merely as a pristine piece of meat to be thoroughly ridden before she casually zipped up her pants and walked away.

But ever since the afternoon she had violently claimed his body, she realized she had become pathologically addicted to this little man. Every single second of her day was consumed by the burning desire to experience him again. Walking away was a physical impossibility; she had fallen completely, deeply in love with him.

“Then take me away from here. Let’s run away together and never look back!”

Ye Feng ground his teeth, anchoring down an immense amount of internal resolve. Objectively, Du Xiaowen was likely far more unhinged and volatile than either Mu Yuchen or Mu Yutong. But at the very least, this woman genuinely coveted him—she wouldn’t treat him like a piece of subhuman livestock the way those two sisters did. He simply wanted to live his life with the baseline dignity of a human being, and at this point, he didn’t care who threw him a lifeline!

Furthermore, compared to the corporate titan Mu Yuchen, Du Xiaowen was significantly weaker and possessed far fewer resources. Once she smuggled him out of this villa, she would undoubtedly be thrown into a frantic, chaotic scramble to evade detection. During that window of absolute disarray, he could easily break her grip and slip away entirely.

“But…”

Du Xiaowen hesitated, a wave of caution piercing through her euphoria. If she permanently smuggled Ye Feng out of the villa, her billionaire boss would absolutely hunt her down and slaughter her. But her little man loved her so intensely—how could she possibly let him down? She would fulfill every single desire he harbored, no matter how extreme. Besides, wasn’t her boss already plotting to eliminate her anyway?

With her back completely against the wall, the choice became crystal clear. She nodded fiercely.

“I’ll take you away right now. We’ll flee this city together and never look back.”

“Good.”

Ye Feng nodded, a wave of profound satisfaction washing over him. The operational trap had snapped shut exactly as intended.

Meanwhile, deeply ensconced in their respective dreamlands on the second floor, both Mu Yuchen and Mu Yutong remained completely, utterly oblivious to the escape unfolding directly beneath their feet.

With absolute precision and care, Du Xiaowen lowered Ye Feng through the open window frame onto the grass outside before nimbly vaulting over the ledge herself.

Ye Feng adjusted his stance, preparing to sprint alongside her to maximize their distance. But before his feet could even grip the dirt, Du Xiaowen bent down, effortlessly scooping his entire frame up into her arms.

“You don’t need to waste your energy walking, sweetheart. I’ll carry you!”

Suddenly finding himself being swept off his feet in a textbook princess-carry, a distinct blush of deep crimson crept up Ye Feng’s cheeks. I’m literally a grown man, yet here I am being carried like a fragile bride.

Sigh… whatever. Let’s just roll with it. Honestly, this isn’t the worst way to travel, he thought, relaxing into her hold. (´∀`*)

Ye Feng buried his head deep into her shoulder, letting himself be enveloped by her substantial, pillowy chest. He knew with absolute certainty that his upcoming standard of living was bound to be turbulent and hazardous, so he might as well collect some physical interest in advance.
