Encouraging his wounded teammate who could no longer fight, Shen Yunfei kept firing his gun at the snowmen surrounding them. He knew his bullets couldn’t kill them, only buy a little more time.

“You can find another superhuman for that. I told you, I’m in a hurry. No more wasting time. Let’s go.”
“You need a phone to contact someone, right? If you escort us back to base, I’ll lend you mine. Deal?”
Seeing that Liu Xingluo had no professional ethics as a superhuman, Shen Yunfei had to state his terms. She needed a phone; he needed to get back to base with his teammate. If he offered the phone as a condition, she might agree.
“That… fine. I accept. You lead the way to the base. Lain, carry the wounded and follow me.”
Considering how long it might take to find another phone, and that this soldier’s offer was a good option, Liu Xingluo agreed.
“But my mode of travel is a bit rough. You’d better get used to it.”
Walking over to Shen Yunfei, Liu Xingluo hoisted him onto her shoulder. Then she leaped onto the roof of a nearby residential building, bounding from rooftop to rooftop toward the tallest building in the area.
From up high, it would be much easier for him to point out the base’s location.
