Chapter 14: Pouring Rain and Cheongsam Crossdressing

“Two kittens, two kittens, meow like a cat, meow like a cat. One loves the teacher, one loves food, meow meow meow~ meow meow meow~~”

“Teacher, it’s so hot.”

“Singing doesn’t cool me down at all, it just makes me hotter. Yan Qing is about to melt, meow.”

In the office of Nanchang Jiaoyuan College, little shota Yan Qing, wearing an oversized baseball cap, lay limply on the desk, his orange-yellow eyes filled with discomfort, looking exactly like a little kitten wilted by the summer heat.

“Just bear with it a little longer. Wait for the electrician to fix the central air conditioning.” Zhang Junfang fanned his little “Hajime” with one hand and gently rubbed Yan Qing’s head with the other.

“Teacher’s hand is hot, don’t touch me.”

Yan Qing stuck out his tongue, turned his head, and looked out the window.

On the large playground, students in camouflage uniforms stood straight, like a neat colony of ants, baking under the scorching sun. This scene was perfectly suited for the saying, “The kitchen’s soy sauce is delicious, sun-dried for a hundred and eighty days.”

“Teacher, why do they have to make these big brothers and sisters do military training and sunbathe in such hot weather? Are they deliberately torturing them?”

“This is called obedience training… ahem, it’s to cultivate collective consciousness.” Zhang Junfang coughed lightly, quickly correcting himself, and glanced around to make sure no one was there.

He glanced out the window, his tone sarcastic.

“Although even our ancestors five thousand years ago knew that it’s easy to get heatstroke in the summer and you should find a shady spot to hide, a commoner like me certainly can’t understand the minds of the upper class. Perhaps in their perception, the dog days of summer are just a few cups of cold tea in the office.”

Little shota Yan Qing didn’t understand the deeper meaning behind Zhang Junfang’s words, but he vaguely sensed a bit of unhappiness in his tone, as if he had experienced it before.

His orange-yellow eyes darted around, and the little shota took the initiative to bring his face closer, affectionately rubbing against the man’s large hand.

“Meow~ Teacher, don’t be angry.”

“The kitten will stay with the teacher.”

After speaking, little shota Yan Qing looked out the window again. The sky was clear, the sun was high, and the dazzling sunlight made it almost impossible to open one’s eyes.

“I really hope it rains heavily, meow.”

“Don’t even think about it. There’s not a bit of water vapor in the sky above Nanchang City. The college did their meteorological research before choosing this half-month for military training.”

Zhang Junfang pinched Yan Qing’s chin, the touch as warm and smooth as jade.

Before his words had even faded, Yan Qing suddenly jumped up from the desk, pointing at the sky outside the window, and said with surprise.

“Wow! Teacher, look quickly, it’s really raining heavily!”

Zhang Junfang wanted to say, “Don’t be ridiculous.” This kind of weather lacked all the elements for rain. If it really rained, all the meteorologists in the world would be shouting, “Meteorology no longer exists!”

However, just as he was about to retort, the words froze in his mouth.

A sound gradually became clear in his ears—first a light “drip-drop,” then a lingering “pitter-patter,” turning into a low “swish-swish,” quickly becoming a rushing “whoosh-whoosh,” and finally a “pitter-patter” like a sudden downpour drumming.

In just a few minutes, the gentle breeze and light rain had turned into a torrential downpour. Bean-sized raindrops smashed against the ground, splashing up layers of silvery-white water.

The students who had been baking under the sun just moments before were instantly drenched like drowned rats.

“Wow~ What a heavy rain! The kitten is going out to play in the rain!!”

Yan Qing cheered and then bolted out of the classroom like a flash.

His footsteps were swift, and he was gone in the blink of an eye.

Zhang Junfang didn’t chase after him. Instead, he stared blankly out the window, his expression dazed, with only one thought left in his mind.

‘Holy cr*p! Meteorology no longer exists!!’

Swish, swish, swish! Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh! Pitter-patter, pitter-patter!!

For military training in college, the most anticipated thing during the dog days of summer was a heavy downpour. The howling wind wrapped in rain slapping against one’s face—what a refreshing feeling.

Especially when one could be nestled in the dorm during what should have been military training time, pillows soft, playing on their phone, listening to the sound of rain outside—it couldn’t be more pleasant.

At first, the drill instructor wanted everyone to stand at attention in the rain. As the saying goes, a military training without being rained on isn’t a proper military training. But seeing the rain get heavier and heavier, after the school leaders came to communicate, he waved his hand and signaled for dismissal.

Tang Yunle bolted towards the dorm, rushed in, grabbed his clothes, and dashed into the restroom. He deftly changed out of his wet clothes and into dry, comfortable loungewear, the whole sequence of movements as smooth as flowing water.

Lying on the bed, his head on a soft pillow, he was in a comfortable and cozy “Ge You lie.”

A few minutes later, the other two roommates returned, soaked to the bone like drowned rats. As for Qin Liang, there wasn’t a single trace of water on him. As a sick patient, he had been staying in the shade all along. The moment the rain started, he had oiled up his legs and run back to the dorm.

Tang Yunle couldn’t be bothered with his roommates and logged into his long-unused “sister” account—”It’s Kele, Not Leke.”

Ever since he started pretending to be the “sister” and launching a lewd offensive against that nameless sugar daddy, maintaining their connection daily, the “It’s Kele, Not Leke” account had been left idle.

Military training was just too busy, and he had to maintain contact on the “sister” account every day. There simply wasn’t enough time.

Tang Yunle didn’t want much, just to use the sister account under the pretext of a hookup to make another hundred thousand or so and then delete the account and run.

He was too short on money.

Just like the beautiful female ghost who called herself Tang Yunke and had been pestering him recently. He had gone from being initially alarmed and uneasy to now facing her calmly.

He had no choice; he was poor.

Female ghosts were certainly scary, and gender-bending was certainly scary, but being poor was even scarier!!

If he couldn’t get money from his sugar daddy, he couldn’t even afford to pay his college tuition!

The QQ chat interface was very clean, with only two friends: one was GentleAsAGem, and the other was Meng-jie from the company platform. Apart from that, his profile was filled with carefully selected pictures of beautiful legs.

Just as he was thinking, the avatar of “GentleAsAGem” suddenly started to flash.

GentleAsAGem: –You there?

Tang Yunle typed quickly.

It’s Kele, Not Leke: –I’m here. It just started raining heavily, so I’m taking shelter from the rain now.

It’s Kele, Not Leke: –I’m so sorry to have troubled you recently. I’ve been busy with military training all week, and I just found out that my sister has been pestering you.

‘Sister…’

On the top bunk, Qin Liang, who was less than two meters away from Tang Yunle on the bottom bunk, thought of those slender, beautiful legs wrapped in white stockings. His Adam’s apple bobbed, and his ice-blue eyes darkened.

A new message quickly popped up on the screen.

GentleAsAGem: –It’s okay, your sister is also very cute. If possible, we can meet after the military training.

GentleAsAGem: –I’ll treat you guys to a meal.

Tang Yunle: …

‘Damn it! Is this old perv really this direct?!’

‘He might as well have “I want a sisters threesome” written on his face.’

‘But this is good too. I have no psychological burden milking this kind of old perv.’

He immediately changed his tone, pretending to be shy;

It’s Kele, Not Leke: –That would be so embarrassing. I feel like I’ve already spent so much of your money, big brother, and now you want to take us out to eat. I really don’t know how… how I can repay you in the future.

‘Act pure! Act innocent! Act cute! Act like a little white flower!!’

‘Men all love this kind of thing!’

GentleAsAGem: –thinking.jpg

GentleAsAGem: –You’re right. In that case, did you receive the cheongsam I sent you last time? After you wear it, send me a few pictures to see. Just consider it as compensation for spending my money.”

Tang Yunle: Ah!

Why don’t you play by the rules as a man? Shouldn’t you resign and ask for leave three times next?
