Tang Yunke was small, but surprisingly strong. Tang Yunle was powerless against her, like a captured little chick, easily pulled off the bed.
“Wait! What exactly is going on right now?”
“Why did I change my gender? What is a dream space? What is a nightmare?”
“What do you mean, we’re going to sneak into our future brother-in-law’s dream today??”
Tang Yunle struggled and questioned loudly.
Since Tang Yunke’s appearance, her originally mundane campus life had taken on a supernatural color. Not to mention gender-bending, which violated scientific common sense, even Tang Yunle herself was sometimes confused.
Who was she? Where was she? What was she going to do?
She knew she couldn’t resist, and she didn’t know Tang Yunke’s true purpose. When she chose to borrow the power of gender transformation to deceive Qin Liang, it meant that this path—no, the next four years of college—were destined to be extraordinary. But before taking action, she at least had to understand the cause and effect. Even if she were to die, she had to die knowing why!
Men have a stubborn streak in their bones. Even if they know something is impossible, they still have to face it head-on.
Tang Yunle often pretended to be a girl online to get money from her sugar daddies.
After pretending for so long, she sometimes couldn’t even tell who she was.
Was she the soft, cute, and money-loving “It’s Kele, Not Leke” who liked to call her sugar daddies “big brother”?
Was she the online scammer who lived in a small rental unit in the summer, didn’t turn on the air conditioning to save money, and hoped every day that her clients would send money to subsidize her family?
She sometimes couldn’t even tell which of the two—she (he)—represented her truest self. But she knew that at least for now, the stubborn streak in her bones had not been worn away (feminized).
The pulling stopped. Tang Yunke looked at the t-shirt-clad girl who was scrutinizing her, her eyes filled with a certain complexity.
“Does big sister really want to know?”
“Actually, it’s pretty good to be a fool. As long as big sister follows my plan, you’ll definitely become a rich person in the future and live a prosperous life.”
“Money is important, but the truth is also important.”
“Having a lot of money but being a muddle-headed fool, that feeling must be very uncomfortable.”
Tang Yunle said.
After hearing this, Tang Yunke lowered her head and remained silent for a long time. When she finally looked up again, she pouted, her expression exactly like that of Tang Yunle when she encountered a troublesome matter that she had to solve.
“Alright, I knew big sister was this kind of person.”
“This is the dream space that Yunke just created. Big sister is dreaming right now. The time outside is three in the morning.”
“As for why big sister changed her gender, as the creator of the dream space, Yunke can naturally slightly influence big sister’s image in the dream.”
“A nightmare, this doesn’t need much explanation. Big sister has read those online novels, so of course you know what a nightmare is.”
“And as for why we have to sneak into our future brother-in-law’s dream, it’s naturally to build up his affection for you, to find out his hobbies…”
She rolled over and sat on the bed, swinging her calves. “This way, in reality, big sister can cater to his preferences, conquer him, and have endless pocket money from then on.”
“Are you done? I still have questions.” Tang Yunle’s gaze was like a torch, fixed on Tang Yunke as she asked the question that had been lingering in her mind since they had met in person.
“Did you know all along that Qin Liang was my sugar daddy?”
Tang Yunke met her gaze calmly, her beautiful eyes darting around. “Yes, Yunke knew all along.”
“Why didn’t you tell me? Didn’t you call yourself my sister? A reason, I want a reason.”
“If big sister knew beforehand, you might not have followed my plan and would have truly deleted your account and run away.”
“I’m doing all this for big sister’s own good.”
Tang Yunle was speechless.
Suddenly, a small, slender white hand was extended in front of her. Tang Yunke’s clear and complex eyes looked at her.
“Big sister, I have a way to make our brother-in-law give you more money. Are you in?”
“I’m in.”
The greedy and money-loving girl didn’t hesitate and replied affirmatively.
What are dreams like?
The brain’s electrical wave activity? The disordered changes of consciousness? Or the so-called spiritual wandering of the soul?
As a staunch materialist, Tang Yunle had once been, but since coming into contact with Tang Yunke and experiencing a series of gender-bending events, she was both idealistic and materialistic, able to be both right and left, her stance flexible.
Of course, that wasn’t the point.
The point was that under Tang Yunke’s guidance, she had snuck into Qin Liang’s dream.
The two girls shuttled through a torrent of memories, each frame, each scene incredibly profound, vivid, and detailed, as if they had entered a long and fulfilling live-action story.
Tang Yunke pulled Tang Yunle forward, forward, forward, until they stopped before a certain scene. It seemed to be a hospital. The corridor was empty, and the faint smell of alcohol and disinfectant wafted over.
Tang Yunle stopped outside the scene, as if watching a super-realistic 3D movie.
As the perspective advanced, she looked around, and more and more details emerged:
Oxygen tanks stacked in the corner, electrocardiogram machines, high-pressure neutralizers, cardiopulmonary resuscitation machines, and other precision instruments were neatly arranged. Even the expensive Siemens Magnetom Viato mobile MRI machine was there.
The entire set of equipment had almost perfectly replicated the configuration of a top-tier intensive care unit in the dream.
Finally, the scene froze before a clean, white hospital bed.
A little boy was sitting on the bed, sobbing. His ice-blue eyes were red from crying, and large tears fell onto the pillow printed with Ultraman, quickly soaking a large area of fabric.
“Big sister sauce, go on.”
“Yunke’s ability can only go this far. You have to start cultivating your boyfriend from a young age.”
“By the way, big sister, don’t stimulate the dream’s owner too much, or there will be problems with the dream.”
Before her words had even faded, Tang Yunle felt a strong push on her back.
Stumbling, she couldn’t help but take a step forward. The next moment, she had fallen into the scene.
And with that one step, she had gone from being a spectator watching a movie to the protagonist in the movie.
Tang Yunle was a little bewildered.
She looked around at the clean and dust-free hospital room, the pervasive smell of disinfectant, and the little blue-eyed boy on the hospital bed whose eyes were already red from crying.
“Big sister, are you the nurse who’s here to give me my medicine today?”
It was only at this moment that a tender, childish voice sounded.
Tang Yunle then realized that the t-shirt she had been wearing to cover her nakedness had been replaced at some point by a clean, white nurse’s uniform, the fabric carrying the faint smell of disinfectant.
She was stunned at first, then remembered Tang Yunke’s instructions, put on a sharp smile, and waved to the little blue-eyed boy.
“Hello, little Qin.”
“Hello, nurse sister.” Little Qin Liang sniffed and looked at this white-robed nurse sister who had suddenly appeared in his hospital room at some point.
“Do you know when I’m going to die?”
