Chapter 128: The Truth Behind Everything

“Ding— bank card credited, 200,000.”

Looking at the string of dazzling zeros on her phone screen, Tang Yunle’s heart felt sweet and sticky.

Beside her, Tang Yunke pursed her lips and hung her head, her fingertips nervously twisting the hem of her clothes, while Qin Liang looked utterly bewildered, as if someone had hit pause on him.

At this moment, the three had returned to Room 812; Tang Yunle had also seized the opportunity to lay everything bare.

After hearing the whole story, Qin Liang’s brain completely crashed.

Brain rebooting.

Brain reboot successful.

‘So… the wife he had just won over was originally involved in online scams?’

‘Not just any scams, but as the Cola and Pepsi sisters, using two fake accounts to take turns swindling his money?’

Tang Yunle secretly lifted her eyes to glance at Qin Liang, her fingers twisting the hem even tighter in tension.

His expression was very calm, showing no anger, but the more it was like that, the less secure she felt, like a little rabbit rampaging in her chest.

What if… what if this damaged the budding feelings between them?

Originally, she had wanted to bury this dark history forever, but seeing the boy’s sincere confession, the words had slipped out unbidden.

After all, hiding and concealing was always a thorn; better to just say it outright, cut through the mess with a swift blade.

Whether blessing or curse, she would bear it herself.

Even if Qin Liang wanted to punish her afterward, she would accept it.

As she was lost in wild thoughts, Qin Liang suddenly let out a soft sigh.

Tang Yunle’s heart clenched sharply; just as she was about to say something, she heard him speak warmly: “Let bygones be bygones.”

She was stunned, abruptly lifting her head to look at him, her eyes full of disbelief; she had never imagined forgiveness would come so easily.

Qin Liang reached out, gently stroking her head, the warmth of his palm soothing and reassuring.

She gazed into his eyes, ice-blue and ink-black meeting in the air, enunciating word by word: “But in the future, no more deceiving me, got it?”

Tang Yunle nodded vigorously, like pounding garlic, her eye sockets heating up, “I won’t deceive you anymore, really! If I ever do in the future, let me be struck by lightning, die a horrible death.”

Seeing her so tense and earnest, Qin Liang couldn’t help curving his lips, deliberately putting on a stern face, sighing in feigned regret: “Sigh, speaking of which, it’s quite a pity.”

Tang Yunle paused: “Pity what?”

“That Cola and Pepsi turned out to be fake.” Qin Liang raised a brow, “The old me was even thinking, when I had time, I’d take them out shopping, buy them little gifts.”

“After all, black stockings with white stockings hit my XP the hardest.”

Qin Liang had meant it as a joke to lighten the mood, but Tang Yunle seemed to misinterpret it.

Her cheeks flushed crimson, yet without a shred of shyness; instead, she abruptly pulled over Tang Yunke, who had been watching the show.

The sisters, one on each side, actually settled directly into the boy’s lap.

Soft bodies pressed against the boy’s warm chest; Tang Yunle buried her head in his neck, while Tang Yunke was dragged half over, just about to struggle when her waist was held down by her sister.

Under their skirts, one black-stocking-clad leg and one white-stocking-clad leg inadvertently intertwined, the slight coolness of skin contact mingling with an ambiguous warmth, making the air seem to congeal.

“We can do that too.” Tang Yunle’s voice was a bit muffled, “Black silk, white silk, accompany you shopping; whatever you want to buy, it’s up to you.”

She paused, suddenly lifting her head to look at him, her eyes carrying a stubborn resolve: “If you’re still hung up on those two fakes, if there’s any resentment in your heart… I can even give you my sister.”

“As long as you don’t get mad at me, and don’t let this resentment become an obstacle in our relationship.”

Tang Yunke’s eyes widened in shock; just as she was about to speak, her sister pressed down on the back of her head, warm lips carrying a tentative clumsiness as they covered the boy’s.

Yunke’s mouth.

“But it’s a deal,” Tang Yunle stared into Qin Liang’s eyes, word by word, “You can only go for the body, not the heart. Your heart must be mine.”

“Sis! What the hell are you saying?!” Tang Yunke finally broke free,

her cheeks red enough to drip blood, glaring at Tang Yunle in fury and anxiety.

Qin Liang laughed, the vibration in his chest transmitting through their pressed bodies to the sisters’ hearts.

He ignored the bristling Tang Yunke, reaching to clasp the back of Tang Yunle’s neck, leaning in without a word to kiss her forehead fiercely a few times,

her nose tip, finally landing on her lips, with a punitive force, yet endlessly gentle.

“Silly fool!” He released her, his fingertip rubbing her kiss-reddened lips, “What I want has never been black silk or white silk; it’s you.”

He glanced at Tang Yunke still dazed in his lap, then pinched Tang Yunle’s cheek: “Also, stop casually pushing your sister away; you are her real sister, after all.”

Tang Yunle was kissed into a daze; hearing this, the corners of her mouth couldn’t help lifting, shrinking further into his embrace, laughing muffledly.

Tang Yunke watched the scene before her, cheeks burning, yet quietly letting out a breath of relief.

Her own sister was hopeless, utterly feminized!

Actually wanting to give her blood sister to her brother-in-law!

Too terrifying!

She just wanted a bit of pocket money; she hadn’t thought about getting married.

But…

Tang Yunke took a deep breath, the flush on her cheeks not yet faded,

her eyes suddenly turning serious.

She first looked at Qin Liang, then swept over the blushing Tang Yunle in his arms, clearing her throat to speak: “Since things have come to this point,

some matters I think should be made clear.”

Tang Yunle lifted her head from Qin Liang’s embrace, her eyes still carrying a bit of haze.

What is it?

Qin Liang also restrained his smile; for the usually playful Tang Yunke to put on this expression, it must not be a small matter.

Two things.

Tang Yunke held up two fingers, her gaze first landing on Qin Liang: “First, about my origins that you’ve always been curious about.

In a sense, I’m a product created by brother-in-law with the divine pen.”

Qin Liang’s brow arched slightly; Tang Yunle was also stunned.

“Brother-in-law, do you still remember the first time you used the divine pen to write in your diary?”

Tang Yunke reminded, “I was born then— your imagination, the divine pen’s wish-fulfillment power, and the traces my sister left in your heart came together to form me.”

Qin Liang and Tang Yunle froze in place.

So Tang Yunke wasn’t human, but a being created by the divine pen.

No wonder she possessed supernatural powers.

“Second.” Tang Yunke’s gaze darkened, sweeping over Qin Liang’s face with a trace of imperceptible complexity: “About you, brother-in-law. Your future… is predetermined.”

Predetermined?

Qin Liang frowned.

A predetermined death.

Tang Yunke enunciated word by word, her voice light as a sigh: “From the start, when I urged my sister to marry you, it was to go through marriage and split your family assets after you died.

But now my sister’s heart is all on you; if you really died, her crying herself to death would be the least of it— she might even follow you in death.

Though I’m a being created by the divine pen, I’m now bound to my sister— the happier she is, the stronger I become; if she’s gone, I’d have to go down with her too.

Brother-in-law, your upcoming surgeries are destined to succeed, but in the year you turn 30, there’s a destined calamity.”

The dorm fell instantly silent.
