Join the Server“Hey, wake up.”
I felt someone patting my face as I slept soundly, calling me to get up.
“Mm~” I gradually woke from my dream.
I forced my blurry eyes open and saw Li Xiaobai striking a cool thinker pose, now smiling at me.
Seeing his mischievous grin, I felt like he’d pulled some prank again. Had he done something bad while I was asleep?
“Xiaobai? Did you… huh?”
I tried to get up, but found myself tightly held by Mo Xiao’ai, unable to move. She clung to me like an octopus, her little hands gripping my flat chest so hard the buttons of my nurse uniform nearly popped off.
Mo Xiao’ai’s small chest pressed tightly against my back, her pale thighs straddling my butt and clamping my thin legs.
I wanted to struggle, but as soon as I moved slightly, her arms tightened even more. Without looking, I could feel her small chest squished out of shape!
‘After all, I’m a man… things like this get a reaction.’
Was this the legendary ‘heaven behind, hell ahead’?
“Xiaobai~” I pressed my skirt down with one hand, blushing as I begged for help.
“Hehehehe~” He chuckled foolishly, losing his cool thinker pose, his expression lewd as he kept snickering.
“Save me! Ah!” I tried to struggle out of bed again.
Mo Xiao’ai, still asleep, seemed to sense her prey escaping. She not only hugged tighter but also bit my neck hard!
“Ah!” I screamed in pain. Bleeding! It hurts! I’m gonna die!
Even innocent me cursed out loud. Just how bad is your sleeping posture, Mo Xiao’ai? Biting people in your sleep?
“Hihihihi~” Li Xiaobai kept laughing, not helping at all.
Then Mo Xiao’ai gradually woke up. “Mm~ Hm?” She released her bite, rubbed her eyes, still half-asleep.
“Geez~ Woman face, why you so close? Trying to take advantage?” She saw she was pressed against me and quickly let go.
“Waa~ Waa~” I didn’t answer, feeling a bit wronged. I touched the teeth marks on my neck and curled up again, still hurting.
“Haha~” Li Xiaobai laughed out loud.
“Huh? Woman face, what’s wrong?” Mo Xiao’ai saw the teeth marks, froze, then seemed to realize what happened.
“He was defiled by you.”
“Huh~”
“Waa~ Waa~”
“While sleeping, you touched and squeezed everything you could on Donghui from head to toe. And gave him a good bite. Your sleeping posture is terrible.” Li Xiaobai resumed his thinker pose, though he exaggerated a bit.
“Huh~” She was startled, blushed instantly, helped me up, and apologized a bit sheepishly: “Sorry~ woman face. For… forgive me.”
“I… I’m fine.” I replied with tears in my eyes.
“You should take responsibility, marry him!”
“Shut up!” Mo Xiao’ai turned and snapped at Li Xiaobai.
“Hehe~ Alright, ladies, enough messing around. Let’s move on.” Xiaobai stood up and smiled at us.
“Uh~ Woman face, let’s get up.” She helped me up gently, maybe feeling guilty for her shameful actions, suddenly much softer.
But that ‘woman face’ nickname still irked me.
“I’m fine~ Let’s go.” I took her hand, got up, and followed them out of the ward.
My wristband showed 2 hours left, with 14 hours 30 minutes of game time remaining.
“Slept for 4 hours, huh.” I rubbed my eyes and touched the teeth mark on my neck.
“Did anyone come while we were asleep?” Mo Xiao’ai glanced at me, seemed reluctant to talk to me, and asked Xiaobai.
“Two groups passed by, but they didn’t find us.”
“So where are they? Gone?” Mo Xiao’ai pressed.
“Gone, probably down to the second floor.”
“So this floor is still empty?”
“…” Li Xiaobai thought for a moment, then said, “No, I can sense one person still on this floor.”
“Huh? One person?” I asked in surprise.
“They’ve been here since you were asleep, four hours now.” Li Xiaobai said solemnly.
“…” Mo Xiao’ai thought silently.
“Uh~ That’s creepy.” I was startled.
“In the room ahead.” Li Xiaobai pointed to a ward in front.
“…”
Mo Xiao’ai and I looked at the ward. The atmosphere was eerie.
We reached the door but didn’t rush to open it.
“What now?” I asked anxiously.
“Must be one of those special contestants, right?” Li Xiaobai said. “I’ll open it. I’ve been scared by traps too many times, so let me.” He pushed the door open.
Inside was pitch black.
“So dark.”
Li Xiaobai pulled me and lit a lighter, illuminating the room. The layout appeared before us, and we all gasped.
“Finally know where that pervert William found so many bear traps.” Li Xiaobai muttered darkly.
“What now? Save them?” I asked weakly.
The room was the same size as others but without a bed, making it seem much larger. At the far end, a humanoid figure wrapped in old bandages like a mummy lay on a table.
But the most important thing was the floor—covered densely with bear traps, with gaps barely enough to stand on tiptoe.
“What now? Really save them?” Li Xiaobai repeated my question, apparently indecisive.
“I don’t advise it. Too dangerous.” Mo Xiao’ai said coldly. “But if you want to, I won’t stop you. I’m not moving though.”
“Uh, then I…”
“I’ll do it!”
“Donghui?” Li Xiaobai shouted in surprise.
“You can’t do everything. It’s my turn.”
“Donghui, think it over! It’s very dangerous. One slip and you’ll be minced by those traps!” He waved his hands frantically.
“Give me the lighter.”
“Donghui!” He tried to dissuade me.
“Give it to him.” Mo Xiao’ai said coldly.
“You!” Li Xiaobai’s expression twisted, then he sighed: “Hah~ Fine, I give up. Here.” He handed me the lighter.
“I’m going.”
“…Be careful.” He still looked worried, so his earlier ‘I give up’ was probably just talk.
“Mm, I will.”
I walked to the edge of the trap-covered floor and lit the lighter to see.
“Whoa~ Now that I look closely, it’s really dense! What a sick trap… Ah~ This skirt is so short.” I stood on tiptoe, carefully placing my toes in the gaps between traps.
Slowly, I crept toward the far end of the room.
“Ahh~ Suddenly realizing how scary this is.”
Midway, traps surrounded me on all sides. Walking on tiptoe was exhausting.
“But there’s no turning back now.”
No use thinking. No retreat, only forward.
“Donghui, be careful!” Li Xiaobai called out worriedly from behind. Heh, reminds me of my mom.
“…” Mo Xiao’ai stood by the door, holding her compound bow, also watching me with concern.
‘Hah~ Can’t let my teammates down.’ I turned back and continued.
“Careful~ Careful~ Almost there,” I muttered to myself.
Almost there. The lighter was getting hot, couldn’t hold it much longer.
One more meter. There!
I jumped lightly onto the only safe spot, standing before the mummy.
“Hey~ You okay?” I pulled out scissors to cut the bandages. I lifted the mummy; it was stiff and cold.
“Hm?” Suddenly, Li Xiaobai’s puzzled voice came from the door.
“Donghui, leave him! He’s dead…” He then shouted: “Come back! Someone’s coming! Mo Xiao’ai, on guard!”
“Huh?” I yelped, dropped the mummy corpse, at a loss.
“Come back!”
“Ah~ Oh.” I snapped out of it, noticed a bottle of water on the floor, picked it up, and retraced my steps.
“They’re here. Three people.” Mo Xiao’ai raised her compound bow, aiming into the unknown, and said coldly.
