Bai Yu remained silent, merely nodding meaningfully. How could she truly reveal her intentions if asked? After all, the individual seemingly orchestrating everything appeared quite tense. If Bai Yu were to approach Lili directly, she would likely be mistaken for an accomplice.
Although her Divine Radiance state would only last for a few more minutes, she felt no sense of panic.
Seeing Bai Yu’s demeanor, the three men felt their apprehension ease.It seemed this deity harbored no ill will towards humanity; in fact, she had even come to their aid.
At that moment, a daring thought bloomed within their minds.Since this deity’s objective aligned with their own, might a collaboration be possible?
“Esteemed Deity, if I may be so bold, do your intentions also concern that particular god?”
The Captain was the first to speak, his body trembling visibly.
He knew that if his words were to incur the wrath of the deity before him, despite her seemingly harmless appearance, the terrifying assault from moments ago remained vividly etched in his memory.
Simultaneously, the two individuals flanking the Captain grew taut with tension.Cold sweat streamed down their backs, knowing that a single misstep could lead to eternal damnation.
Bai Yu’s brow furrowed slightly. It appeared these people intended to exploit her, and that was simply unacceptable.
She was accustomed to taking advantage of others, not the other way around.
While her methods might be deemed shameless, the advantage currently lay with her.
At the very least, an equitable exchange was in order.
Bai Yu, feigning profound contemplation, slowly shook her head in the air.Her eyes closed, as if lost in thought.
This immediately plunged the three men, who had just begun to relax, back into a state of anxiety. If this deity’s objective wasn’t related to the Outer God, then what could it possibly be?
A cascade of unsettling feelings made their hair stand on end.Yet, Bai Yu’s next words brought a sense of relief washing over them.
“I am no god,” she declared, “and there is no doubt that the entity you speak of is, in fact, a curse.”
“I am not a god, though my objective is indeed as you surmised: to confront that Outer God.”
Bai Yu stated calmly. She had no desire for these individuals to discover her vulnerabilities.Furthermore, she needed to be concise, as she still needed to conserve her Divine Radiance for her impending negotiation with Lili.
As for why Bai Yu claimed not to be a god, it was simply because deception would prove futile.Once her Divine Radiance faded, any discerning observer would immediately grasp her true nature, which would only lead to greater complications.
“Not a god?”
The three men involuntarily froze in surprise upon hearing this revelation. Then, an identical thought simultaneously sparked in each of their minds.
Possessing power comparable to a god, yet not being a god themselves—this scenario could only signify one thing.
This realization filled them with immense excitement, their expressions instantly morphing into profound elation. The glorious era of their Dragon Summer Nation was upon them.
“Could it be that you are a Divine Favored?” the Captain asked respectfully. “Which deity has chosen to lend their aid to the Dragon Summer Nation?”
Bai Yu, however, was utterly bewildered.
‘Divine Favored? What in the world is a Divine Favored? What even is that?’
Yet, quick-witted as Bai Yu was, she immediately grasped the situation, beginning to understand the term’s inherent meaning.
This was like being offered a pillow precisely when one was drowsy—an opportunity presented to her on a silver platter, one she certainly wouldn’t let slip away.
Bai Yu nodded, then replied with feigned solemnity.
“Precisely. I am a Divine Favored, guided by the gods and wielding their power to repel the Outer God. However, the identity of the esteemed deity must remain a closely guarded secret; it cannot be revealed!”
Bai Yu spoke slowly, her expression utterly natural.Coupled with her ethereal beauty and striking silver hair and eyes, her words instilled profound conviction in the three men.
“Indeed! Esteemed Divine Favored, with this invasion by the Outer God, our city’s populace has fallen under its control. We implore you, please save them!”
The Captain pleaded, and his words rang true.
Even as formidable nine-tier experts, they had been utterly defeated by the divine pressure, falling without a single retaliatory strike.
Bai Yu ceased her inquiries, swiftly moving past them and heading towards Lili’s location.
According to Moweila’s tracking, Lili seemed to still be beneath the membrane, her exact hiding place unknown.
No sooner had Bai Yu floated past, than an oval-shaped chamber shot upwards from beneath the membrane, appearing directly before her.
Numerous fine filaments, resembling nerves, connected to its surface.Bai Yu found this arrangement perplexing.Could Lili truly be manipulating dreams with such apparatus?
As Bai Yu pondered this mystery, the chamber abruptly sprang open.A blue and pink figure shot out, swiftly appearing before Bai Yu and pulling her inside.
The speed was so astonishing, that even Bai Yu, enveloped in Divine Radiance, had no time to react before she vanished from her spot.
The chamber then retreated beneath the membrane, and all returned to an eerie stillness.Only the three Dragon Summer Guardians remained, floating foolishly in the air.
“What… what just happened? Where is the esteemed Divine Favored?”
The three stared at the empty sky. They hadn’t even fully registered what had occurred before Bai Yu disappeared.Could it be that even a Divine Favored was powerless against a true god?
Their hearts twisted in anguish.Yet, in their current predicament, they were utterly helpless, left only to endure the agonizing wait where they stood.

Meanwhile, Lili embraced Bai Yu tightly, her small head instinctively burrowing deeper into Bai Yu’s chest.
“Ahhh~ Master, you’re out! As expected of Master, completing the game so effortlessly!”
Lili, her face flushed with a rosy blush, gazed at Bai Yu, her body pressed almost entirely against Bai Yu’s.
What’s more, they were currently confined within this cramped chamber, leaving virtually no room to move, thus pressing them intimately together.
‘Lili, what are you doing? Let me go! Where even is this place?’
Bai Yu struggled, attempting to break free, yet despite her usual strength, she felt as light as a wisp of cotton, effortlessly held in Lili’s embrace.
Though both were of petite female stature, Bai Yu found herself utterly unable to escape Lili’s hold.
“Is Master unwilling? This is the love nest I prepared just for you, Master! Won’t you stay here forever with me?”
Lili leaned close to Bai Yu’s ear, exhaling a slow, soft breath, which only intensified the already heightened sensitivity of Bai Yu’s body.
‘No, please…’
The mere thought of being confined indefinitely within this cramped space caused Bai Yu’s very Dao Heart to crumble.
She still had girls she adored; she couldn’t possibly be imprisoned here.
“Hmm? Master is thinking of other girls? It seems Master truly is quite fickle.”
Lili seemed to instantly perceive Bai Yu’s thoughts. Her small hands began to wander over Bai Yu’s body, as if intending to punish her.
Then, Lili’s small mouth pressed directly against Bai Yu’s, silencing any sound she might have made.
‘Mmmph…’
Bai Yu struggled, her mouth still covered, yet amidst the sensation, a strange sense of bliss began to bloom.
Lili’s skin now pressed intimately against Bai Yu’s, their small feet entwined.A faint, delicate fragrance permeated the air around them, leaving Bai Yu feeling lightheaded and disoriented.
‘Surely, I’m not actually starting to enjoy this, am I?’
Bai Yu’s inner world crumbled.’Lili is incredibly cute, but this is hardly the time for such antics!’
