Ellie Roth Charlotte opened the list on her phone, her gaze sweeping over the names of the personnel.
It was then that she noticed something amiss.
“Why is so much information missing?”
Ellie Roth Charlotte questioned her accompanying housekeeper, a glint of dissatisfaction in her eyes.
She showed the information on her phone to the housekeeper, pointing out that every individual’s spiritual core data was entirely absent, rendering the list almost useless.
“My deepest apologies, Miss. All personal information is strictly confidential. Even with the family’s resources, this is all we could gather for now.”
The housekeeper’s back was slick with cold sweat, knowing full well she could not withstand the young lady’s wrath.
Ellie Roth Charlotte said nothing further, merely settling back onto her lounge chair to resume poring over the documents in her hand.
The roster was pathetically sparse; including herself, there were only five individuals listed, some even lacking names, with only their existence acknowledged.
“However, to find two from the Dragon Summer Nation… that is rather interesting.”
Ellie Roth Charlotte noted the country column, surprised to see two individuals hailed from the Dragon Summer Nation.
Ordinarily, each nation was permitted to send only one eligible student to Nemos Academy per year.
The appearance of two this year piqued Ellie Roth Charlotte’s interest considerably.
One of them, in fact, had completely blank information, not even a name.
“Intriguing, truly intriguing.”
A slight smile played on Ellie Roth Charlotte’s lips; she was eager to ascertain the true capabilities of these individuals.
‘Would they prove to be genuine prodigies, or merely future vanquished foes?’ she wondered.
As for the remaining two…
Ellie Roth Charlotte looked up their profiles, discovering one hailed from the Nation of Will.
‘The Mist Rainbow Nation, then…’
Ellie Roth Charlotte lowered her head in thought, surprised that a student would be coming from there this year.
After all, it had been several years since anyone from the Mist Rainbow Nation had attended Jas Academy.
This unexpected appearance made Ellie Roth Charlotte sense that something was amiss.
She began to ponder which of the Mist Rainbow Nation’s prominent families could possibly produce such a genius.
For a moment, various pieces of information coalesced in her mind, but ultimately, Ellie Roth Charlotte decided to abandon her conjectures.
Soon enough, she would meet these so-called prodigies herself; whether they were true geniuses or mere duds, she would know with a single test.
She drained the last of the juice from her glass, leaving only a few ice cubes at the bottom.
As Ellie Roth Charlotte had no habit of consuming ice, she simply placed the glass on the table.
Rising to her feet, she noted that the cruise ship’s preparations were nearly complete; it was time to depart.
Ellie Roth Charlotte’s heart pounded with an excitement she had not felt in a long time.
“I hope they don’t disappoint me, hmph hmph…”

In Xian City, Dragon Summer Nation, an unknown cruise ship lay docked at the port.
More akin to a modified warship than a mere cruise liner, its formidable weaponry sent shivers down the spines of both port and customs officials.
They were utterly baffled by the sudden appearance of such a vessel, especially with its sole captain being an elderly woman in formal attire.
For the moment, neither customs nor port authorities dared to act rashly, choosing instead to dispatch envoys to negotiate.
After all, the ship had sailed in without any prior notification; had they not perceived a lack of hostile intent, an attack would have already been launched.
Simultaneously, they had immediately reported the incident to the Dragon Summer Investigation Bureau and other relevant departments, launching a full inquiry into the ship’s origins.
Just as the situation grew tense, news finally arrived from the Dragon Summer Investigation Bureau.
Their suspicions were confirmed: the ship was even more formidable than they had initially imagined.
A wave of dread washed over them; they were fortunate not to have initiated an immediate assault, or the consequences would have been dire.
A simmering resentment also festered within them, wondering what kind of vessel could be so brazen as to intrude without any prior notice.
Meanwhile, the elderly woman, serving as captain, stood steadfastly at the bow, her keen gaze fixed upon the crowd gathered at the port.
Her imposing presence made everyone uneasy; this individual clearly seemed not to be trifled with.
Only with the arrival of a car was the silence finally broken.
A charming girl with silver-white hair promptly sprang from the car, immediately scanning the port with wide-eyed curiosity.
Truth be told, she had never before ventured to a place like a port, as Bai Yu had never had any need for oceanic travel.
Having always been confined to academics, this was a rather uncomfortable experience for her.
Now, however, everything was different; she had transformed into an utterly perfect and adorable loli.
Bai Yu stepped out of the car, having been driven by her Mother, with Cecilia also arriving to bid her farewell.
A pang of sadness struck Bai Yu, knowing it might be months before she saw Cecilia again.
Both Lu Xingyao and Cecilia had their own commitments; they couldn’t possibly practice Tidal Magic with her every single day.
Bai Yu nestled into Cecilia’s embrace, reveling in the warmth and softness, reluctant to pull her head away.
Yet, such pleasant moments are always fleeting.
Tianyu walked directly to the port and dock, beginning negotiations with the staff.
It was only then that the staff realized the group before them were the very passengers destined for this enigmatic cruise ship.
Bai Yu had no idea where her Mother had acquired the vessel, only hearing that she had borrowed it from a friend.
Bai Yu also noticed the stern-faced elderly woman on board, whose fierce demeanor made her feel somewhat uneasy.
She now felt a certain apprehension towards elderly women, entirely due to the monster Lilith had created.
That particular monster had been the Principal of Xian City International High School, a seemingly benevolent old woman who turned out to be an Outlaw Arcanist.
However, this woman was, after all, her Mother’s friend; even if she appeared formidable, surely there would be no issue.
Tianyu then approached, offering Bai Yu a stern reminder.
“While at sea, you must obey the captain and Stella. Do not wander off; it’s truly dangerous!”
Tianyu’s expression was grave, for she knew her child’s nature well and understood the potential for trouble.
“I know, I know.”
Bai Yu replied perfunctorily, even Tianyu couldn’t resist nagging like a typical mother, despite Bai Yu no longer being a child.
Turning away, she strode gracefully towards the ship without a backward glance, only to be promptly intercepted by a customs guard.
“Little sister, this is no place for children to play.”
Bai Yu froze, realizing they had absolutely no idea she was the one meant to board.
This revelation infuriated her.
“What do you mean, ‘little sister’? I’m the one who’s supposed to board this ship!”
Bai Yu clenched her small fists, tempted to punch the guard standing before her.
“Oh, uh…”
The guard’s gaze flickered to his superior, who was currently speaking with Tianyu, and he immediately understood.
It wasn’t the lady who was boarding, but this child!
