Bai Yu and Ellie Roth nodded in agreement, yet they saw no structures, no sign of a camp anywhere.
“Where is the camp? I don’t see anything.” Ellie Roth frowned, her expression clearly displeased.
‘She had a foreboding feeling.’
“It’s underground. An above-ground camp would be far too easily discovered…” Laika whispered, her voice hushed.
“Underground?” Ellie Roth’s disbelief was palpable. In a place so devoid of advanced technology and techniques, she couldn’t even begin to imagine what a subterranean camp would look like.
She finally understood why this organization needed them to fight against the nobles and the Church.
‘This was truly going to be difficult.’
‘Forget it.’ Ellie Roth shook her head. Since she had already promised Laika, she would see it through to the end. After all, this was the only way they knew to escape the ice wall.

*Thump, thump, thump, thump, thump!* The rhythmic knocks served as a signal, and soon, a wooden board on the grassy ground was lifted aside.
“You’re back so soon? Did you find those two Audfoger people?” Resse exclaimed, his eyes wide with a mixture of excitement and urgency.
“Yes, we found them, we found them…” Laika quickly replied, fearing that too loud a voice might attract enemies.
Ellie Roth stepped forward, her expression less than friendly.
“Greetings.” Resse’s demeanor instantly became guarded upon seeing Ellie Roth, as if facing a formidable foe.
He actually felt a flicker of fear from this young woman. As a Transcendent for decades, already at the Saint stage, how could he possibly be intimidated by a mere maiden?
‘Are those from beyond the wall truly so powerful?’
“Teacher, Ellie Roth is friendly, she just has a bit of a temper.” Laika quickly intervened, smoothing things over and translating for Bai Yu and Ellie Roth.
“Ah, I see! Welcome, welcome! This is precisely the kind of spirit one needs to confront those nobles and the Church, haha!” Resse quickly ushered Ellie Roth into the camp, with Bai Yu quietly following behind.
“Wait, why is there a child too?” Resse stared at Bai Yu, unable to believe that a child had come to such a dangerous place.
Upon hearing Resse’s words, Bai Yu’s facial muscles twitched. Although she didn’t understand the language, the tone was clearly not complimentary.
“Teacher! Lady Bai Yu is no child! She, like Lady Ellie Roth, is a super powerful expert from beyond the wall!” Laika quickly recounted how Bai Yu and Ellie Roth had silently wiped out their entire team and how Bai Yu had caught her arrows barehanded.
Laika’s earnest explanation left Resse utterly stunned.
‘Such a young child possessed such immense power. This was truly terrifying.’
He knew even he couldn’t have taken Laika’s full-power strike without sustaining injuries.
“Lady Bai Yu, please forgive my rudeness just now. I never imagined you possessed such formidable strength at such a young age.” Resse bowed deeply, a necessary humility for the future of their organization.
Bai Yu merely shook her head, indicating she wasn’t so petty.
“Quickly, prepare the best rooms for our two guests!” Resse hastily ordered, knowing such esteemed visitors required private accommodations, even if their conditions were modest.
Turning back, Resse began to introduce Bai Yu and Ellie Roth to everything within the camp.
“Although we, the God’s Great Enemy, are still in our initial stages, we will never falter in battle!” Resse declared proudly.
Ellie Roth remained expressionless.
‘God’s Great Enemy…’ Bai Yu felt a wave of speechlessness. When she first heard the organization’s name, she almost couldn’t maintain her composure.
With an organization of this scale and strength, a mere breath from a true deity would surely obliterate them. After all, she had witnessed the power of genuine gods, and it was on an entirely different level.
However, Bai Yu didn’t let her thoughts show, as it would have been impolite.
“Moweila, what’s the strength of this old man in front of me?” Bai Yu asked Moweila mentally. Laika had told her that this old man, her teacher, had reached the Saint stage.
‘So, this is the strongest tier in this world, as Laika described.’
“Tier 4. However, his spiritual aura is very unstable. He probably couldn’t even defeat a normal Tier 3 Arcanist in a fight,” Moweila’s voice was cold, confirming Bai Yu’s suspicions.
While the organization’s ideals were noble and their resolve firm, their actual strength left much to be desired.
She knew the caliber of enemies these people faced, yet the so-called God’s Great Enemy’s power was truly underwhelming.
Bai Yu was now a little worried. If, moving forward, it truly came down to just her and Ellie Roth, she would have to seize the opportunity to quickly enhance her own strength.
Her spiritual core hadn’t reached Tier 3 yet, leaving room for improvement.
Bai Yu had long carried the ritual materials and knowledge with her, only holding back from an immediate breakthrough out of fear of an unstable foundation.
“Lady Ellie Roth, if I may ask, what tier are you?” Resse inquired respectfully as they toured the underground camp.
“Tier 5. If we’re using your ranking system, it would likely be above Saint…” Ellie Roth replied dispassionately. Since she and Bai Yu had indeed joined the God’s Great Enemy, she felt it was acceptable to share this information.
“Above… Saint?” Resse’s eyes widened, the statement completely beyond his comprehension. How could this be possible?
‘Isn’t Saint the pinnacle?’
Yet, based on what Laika had described, Ellie Roth’s demonstrated power certainly aligned with being beyond the Saint stage.
‘Is this the strength one gains from traversing the endless blizzards?’ Resse was profoundly shocked.
“What about Lady Bai Yu?” Resse turned to ask Bai Yu, who was currently conversing with Moweila in her mind.
“Oh, I’m also Tier 5!” Bai Yu lied without batting an eyelid. It would be quite embarrassing to admit to a lower tier, wouldn’t it?
With her current strength, claiming Tier 5 was perfectly fine. Besides, she possessed two spiritual cores—one Tier 3 and one Tier 2. Didn’t that add up to Tier 5?
‘Bai Yu is indeed a genius!’ Bai Yu thought, brimming with confidence.
“I see! Lady Bai Yu is indeed talented and accomplished at such a young age.” Ellie Roth had also heard Bai Yu state her tier for the first time. Just as she had thought, Bai Yu’s strength was in no way beneath her own.
‘She is truly my fated rival.’ A slight smile touched Ellie Roth’s lips. She was already looking forward to the day she would battle Bai Yu.
“You two should rest today. We’ll hold our strategy meeting tomorrow.”
“Leader, we don’t have enough rooms. There’s only one left,” an organization member reported to Resse.
“This…” Resse looked a little embarrassed. Honored guests had arrived, and they didn’t even have enough rooms.
“It’s fine. Ellie Roth and I can share a room.” Bai Yu waved her hand. After all, she didn’t fully trust these people yet. Comparatively, Ellie Roth was far more reliable.
