Chapter 3: The Cat-Eared Witch and the Magical Girl

“Never thought something like this would happen…” Bai Ye marveled at the cat ears on top of Bai Muxue’s head.

“Although it’s possible for a witch or magical girl to develop animal traits after transformation, the probability is really low.”

“Didn’t expect to encounter a case today.”

Indeed, Bai Muxue had now become a catgirl.

You could also call her a cat-eared witch.

“?” Bai Muxue sensed something bad.

But the other girl wouldn’t give Bai Muxue a chance to freeze. With a flash of white light, she instantly transformed.

After transforming, the girl had dazzling golden hair tied into twintails, held a slender sword, and wore an elaborate court gown.

“Remember, witch, the one who’ll take you in is the Magical Girl, Lan!”

“A true hero is like Hakimi. Even when facing enemies several times, even ten times stronger, you must strike a spinosaurus pose and hiss bravely!” Bai Ye suddenly said.

“Easy for you to say. I don’t even have a level yet. How am I supposed to fight?”

The two were communicating through telepathy, so Lan couldn’t hear them.

“Too busy to focus in front of me? Take this!” Lan thrust her sword at Bai Muxue.

After transforming into a witch, Bai Muxue didn’t know how to use magic, but her physical abilities had improved greatly. She barely dodged the thrust.

But Lan’s attacks weren’t just one thrust.

“Aren’t you the Great Witch? Think of a plan. At this rate, your first witch is going to be killed!”

Maybe because she wanted to capture Bai Muxue alive, Lan wasn’t going for the kill.

Even so, Bai Muxue was hit several times. Her clothes were even sliced to tatters by Lan’s sword.

“So you admit you’re my first witch?” Bai Ye’s focus seemed to be somewhere else.

“You…” Bai Muxue didn’t finish.

Because Lan’s sword was already at her delicate neck, just a hair away from slitting her throat.

“Gulp…” Bai Muxue swallowed.

“Um, that, can we negotiate a peace?”

“Peace? Fine.” Lan smiled. “Come back to the Association with me, and I’ll make peace with you.”

Suddenly, a surge of powerful magic erupted from Bai Muxue’s body, knocking Lan back several steps.

“What’s going on?”

“What happened?”

Both were taken aback.

“I just injected some of my magic into you. Now your power completely suppresses this little girl. Go give her a thorough beating!” Bai Ye shouted.

“You actually come in handy sometimes.”

“I don’t know what trick you used to boost your magic so much, but I’m not giving up that easily. Take this!”

The longsword in Lan’s hand emitted a golden glow.

“Holy Light Judg…”

“Eat my fist!” Bai Muxue appeared in front of Lan in an instant and punched her in the stomach.

Spell interrupted!

“Ugh…” Lan knelt down from the punch.

A single move decided the fight. Such was the effect of overwhelming combat power.

Even a total novice like Bai Muxue could easily beat Lan.

“So, am I awesome?” Bai Ye asked.

“Not bad. Rating: 7.0. At least you didn’t wait until I’d been dragged to the Association to show off.” Bai Muxue rolled her eyes.

“I will not…” Lan forced herself up, raised her sword, and tried to lunge at Bai Muxue again.

Without thinking, Bai Muxue pressed Lan against the wall. They were almost touching.

For a second, both of them froze.

“Guh, what are you going to do to me? Let go!” Lan snapped out of it, her face turning red as she struggled.

“Yes, yes, yes! That’s it! The winner must ruthlessly humiliate the loser!”

Bai Muxue pinning Lan against the wall made Bai Ye’s heart race.

If he could, Bai Ye would have taken over and done it himself.

“Troublemaker who just watches the chaos…” Bai Muxue’s eyes went dark.

She was doomed. Would everyone think she was a pervert now?

“If you ask me, you can’t win her forgiveness anymore. If it comes down to it, let’s just discipline… I mean, train her!” Bai Ye offered another wicked idea.

“Stop that already!”

“Or taunt her a bit.” Bai Ye said. “I need to collect emotional energy.”

Bai Muxue ignored Bai Ye.

She looked at Lan, still pinned to the wall, and said, “If I told you I didn’t mean to do this, would you believe me?”

Lan didn’t answer. She bit her silver teeth, her face flushed, and stared at Bai Muxue with shame and fury.

“I’d rather die than be humiliated! If you’ve got the guts, kill me. My seniors will avenge me!”

With that, Lan closed her eyes.

“Ah…” Bai Muxue hadn’t expected things to turn out like this.

Just as Bai Ye said, there seemed to be no chance of reconciling with Lan anymore.

So she could only lean into the mistake and take things in a mysterious direction!

“I’m not interested in an underdeveloped little girl like you. Besides, you’re too weak to stand against me. Train more, then we’ll talk!”

With that, Bai Muxue tossed Lan aside and dashed away.

Watching Bai Muxue flee, Lan murmured:

“You perverted witch… Just you wait. I’ll catch you sooner or later!”
