Join the ServerHis face was flushed all over, his lower lip slightly swollen from being chewed, and his expression stained with anxious fear and an aching desire to be loved by him alone, and honestly, it was both pitiful and lovely at the same time.
The emotions Eun-gyeol was worrying about had never had any place to wedge themselves in from the start.
Han-geon cupped Eun-gyeol’s chin with both hands and lifted his face.
Those doll-like long eyelashes, soaked with unease, fluttered shyly upward.
He slowly pressed his lips to the vividly red ones.
Soft yet intensely hot lips crushed together with springy force.
Normally, the moment their lips touched, Eun-gyeol would rush to tangle tongues in hunger.
But this time, he simply stayed still.
Even so, his lips obediently parted, offering a small opening.
Han-geon lightly brushed his tongue against the open lower lip.
At the playful provocation, faint breath began to leak through the parted gap, slowly growing heavier.
When he pushed his tongue in more boldly, hot flesh met hot flesh.
Eun-gyeol visibly flinched.
The back muscles that had been slumped so meekly swelled noticeably with his breathing.
Just as Han-geon reflexively tried to pull away in surprise, the Eun-gyeol who had been so still suddenly grabbed both of Han-geon’s arms with both hands.
The grip strength was shocking.
The way he pressed their lips together was aggressive, rushed, and clumsy.
Watching him lose all composure like that, Han-geon felt a dull ache bloom again in his chest, yet at the same time, he found him overwhelmingly lovable.
Eun-gyeol lunged at Han-geon as if his uniquely high body temperature might melt him completely.
With his tongue held rigid, he plunged in and sucked on Han-geon’s tongue in one swift motion.
He traced teeth and licked the roof of his mouth with frantic urgency.
It was a kiss so ravenous and violent that the tongue almost felt obscene.
Eun-gyeol roamed his large hands roughly over Han-geon’s firm body wrapped in a suit.
As if trying to confirm his very existence, pure, undiluted anxiety seeped from his touch.
Han-geon, who had been patiently enduring the near-feral kisses and contact, finally gasped and shoved Eun-gyeol’s chest away with both hands.
His breath had reached its limit, and he couldn’t endure it any longer.
Eun-gyeol yielded without resistance.
He reached out and wiped away the long, silvery thread stretched between their lips.
Catching his breath, he quietly met Han-geon’s trembling gaze.
When the ragged breathing settled slightly, Han-geon calmly opened his mouth.
“You seem to be mistaken about something, Cha Eun-gyeol.
If I were the type to get sick of you or start hating you over something this trivial, it would’ve happened a long time ago.”
Seeing Eun-gyeol lower his gaze, eyes clouded with guilt, Han-geon smiled faintly.
“And what exactly do you think my past is?
Do you really think a sane person could like someone for seventeen years?”
“…..”
“I’m saying I’m just as insane as you are.”
He made sure to say it while looking straight into his eyes so that Eun-gyeol wouldn’t continue eating himself away with pointless emotions.
To be honest, Cha Eun-gyeol’s jealousy was pretty and even cute, but Han-geon hated the fact that it caused him pain.
There had already been far too much between the two of them.
It was a waste of time and energy to fight, sigh, and feel hurt over things that meant nothing.
Now, they should be able to simply be happy without restraint.
“Anyway, it’s true that you went too far.
If you do this again next time, you’re really getting scolded.”
“…..Yeah.”
Murmuring obediently like a child who had cried himself out, Eun-gyeol was pulled tightly into Han-geon’s arms.
Gentle kisses were pressed to his forehead and eyelids.
“Seriously, how would I live without Choi Han-geon?”
“Right?
How would Cha Eun-gyeol live without me?”
At Han-geon’s relaxed, joking tone, the tension that had been twisting Eun-gyeol’s eyes all along finally softened.
Wanting to see him smile, Han-geon kissed him several times in a row.
As he did, the absurd thing Eun-gyeol had said earlier resurfaced clearly in his mind, and a quiet chuckle slipped out.
“You told me earlier to become an actor.
Are you really okay with that?”
“No.
Absolutely not.”
Eun-gyeol cut him off cleanly, lifted his head from Han-geon’s arms, and kissed him again.
Unlike the frantic roughness from before, this kiss was endlessly gentle.
To such a jealous and adorable lover, Han-geon willingly parted his lips.

“Cut!
Let’s go again from there.
If Sohyun adds just a bit more emotional depth at that part, that’d be great.”
“Yes, understood.”
The director’s voice boomed through the loudspeaker.
The actors, who had been deeply immersed in their performances, relaxed their bodies all at once.
Staff crowded around the actor who had been performing tearful emotional acting, fixing makeup and tidying appearances.
It was already nearing 9 p.m.
Han-geon checked the day’s shooting schedule once more.
After Sohyun’s solo shot, the final shoot of the day would be the scene between Eun-gyeol and Juwon.
Today was the day Juwon confessed her feelings to Cha Kang-woo, the character Eun-gyeol played, a man she had loved for a long time.
Tomorrow, they would shoot the scene where Eun-gyeol’s character confesses back.
Because the romantic mood with the female lead that had been carefully built throughout Season 1 needed to fully bloom in Season 2, this was an especially important emotional turning point.
Unlike Han-geon, who felt a little tense, Eun-gyeol’s expression remained calm.
He tended to be quite sensitive during preparation, but once filming started, he always delivered his acting with a steady and unwavering tone.
“Han-geon.”
A low voice came from beside him.
Han-geon glanced toward Eun-gyeol, who was sitting nearby.
In his hand was an open bag of jelly that Yujin had brought earlier.
Picking up a small shark-shaped jelly, Eun-gyeol gestured for him to come closer.
Heat rushed to Han-geon’s face instantly.
“…I’ll eat it.”
“Hurry.”
There was no way he could refuse a request made with those beautifully curved eyes.
Why he never developed any immunity to that face, he truly didn’t know.
Han-geon quickly checked their surroundings, confirmed that no one was watching, and slightly opened his mouth.
Eun-gyeol slowly pushed the jelly into his mouth.
The way his finger deliberately pressed against Han-geon’s lower lip as it passed was clearly intentional teasing.
“You eat so well.
You’re pretty.”
He whispered with a smile.
A large, warm palm cupped Han-geon’s cheek.
Just as Han-geon was about to push him away and tell him to stop, he spotted Yujin and the makeup staff approaching with boxes in hand.
Yujin’s face visibly soured with every step she took.
“Hey, keep the public affection to a minimum.
Seriously, Cha Eun-gyeol, there’s so much honey dripping from your eyes that the bees are going to think this place is a beehive.”
“If you’re jealous, you should date too, noona.
Want me to introduce someone?”
“Y-you—!
Ugh, I’m seriously pissed!”
Eun-gyeol’s indifferent response only fueled Yujin’s rage further.
Still gently stroking Han-geon’s face, Eun-gyeol finally lowered his hand when Han-geon hurriedly pushed him away.
Grumbling nonstop in a small voice, Yujin delicately worked over Eun-gyeol’s face with her brush.
From this point on, emotional acting would be shown, and the shots would stay in close-up the entire time, so the makeup needed to be checked meticulously.
Thanks to the sweltering summer heat and the long hours of filming, the makeup had dulled slightly, but once refreshed, Eun-gyeol’s face shone even more brilliantly.
Han-geon watched the process absentmindedly.
As Eun-gyeol obediently opened and closed his eyes per Yujin’s instructions, he caught Han-geon staring and lifted the corner of his lips again.
At the sly wink sent his way, Han-geon’s face flushed all the way down to his neck, and he hastily turned his gaze aside.
Yujin’s teasing about how they lived together yet still acted like that only doubled Han-geon’s embarrassment.
“Alright, final shot!
Juwon and Eun-gyeol, let’s go!”
The director’s voice rang out at perfect timing.
With his touch-up complete, Eun-gyeol slowly stood up.
At the same time, Juwon moved toward the camera.
Han-geon blinked and watched the two of them.
To be honest, when filming for Season 2 had first resumed, things had felt a bit awkward whenever he ran into Juwon.
Early on, she had been sharp as a blade herself.
Especially during scenes filmed alone with Eun-gyeol, she had shown noticeable agitation, making it difficult to find their rhythm.
Eun-gyeol, on the other hand, had maintained the same indifferent attitude as always.
Still, compared to that unstable early period, Juwon now seemed much more at ease.
Though it was being kept quiet, rumors whispered here and there suggested she had recently met someone good.
Han-geon genuinely thought that was a good thing.
“Roll…
Ready.
Action!”
As the camera began rolling, Eun-gyeol’s gaze instantly locked onto Juwon.
The close-up shot captured everything, from their trembling eyes to the faint twitch of their lips.
Juwon began pouring out her feelings in a voice thick with emotion.
