Chapter 55: Alien Contract – How Dare You Covet My Wife

[Aaaah! System! Censor it!]

In the chaos, Jiang Shulan had no idea who had carried him away.

When the white Xenomorph laid him down on a thick mat made of leaves, he took one glance at the creature before immediately squeezing his eyes shut, too frightened to look again.

The white Xenomorph circled around him like a puppy.

Yet its entire body was an unsettling white, almost deathly pale. Its skin was even somewhat translucent, allowing the vague outlines of its internal structures and bones to be seen.

Looking more closely, its head was shaped like a sharp triangle, with two vicious spikes jutting from its back.

Jiang Shulan had originally planned to provoke the Xenomorph into killing him so he could simply log out of the world, but the white Xenomorph was so terrifying that he was almost impressed with himself for not crying.

The white Xenomorph nudged his fingers with its head.

It was cold, and the sensation was like touching metal.

He curled himself up like a turtle. The tiny thorns among the leaves beneath him had already scratched his face red, yet he didn’t dare lift his head.

The white Xenomorph let out an anxious hiss from its throat, seemingly very dissatisfied with his reaction.

If it was dissatisfied, then just kill him!

Instead, the white Xenomorph pressed its forehead against his waist, gradually increasing the force until it nearly flipped him over.

But Jiang Shulan was terrified.

No matter what the Xenomorph did, he refused to open his eyes.

After a while, the surroundings gradually fell silent.

Jiang Shulan sniffled and cautiously opened his eyes.

A tall figure covered from head to toe in something resembling burlap was approaching him.

Jiang Shulan wanted to see who it was, thinking that at last he could give his eyes a break.

He had just tried to stand when his legs went weak and he fell back down.

He was so frightened that tears welled up at the corners of his eyes without him even realizing it.

The figure reached out a “hand” toward him.

Except it wasn’t a hand.

It was a sharp claw.

He instinctively looked up.

It was that same strange and terrifying face.

The white Xenomorph had actually stood up.

And it was incredibly tall, nearly two meters.

Which made it even more frightening.

The moment Jiang Shulan got a clear look at the “person’s” face, his heart seemed to stop.

He immediately fainted.

At first, the white Xenomorph didn’t realize that Jiang Shulan had passed out.

It carefully curled its claws and used the only harmless part, the back of its claw, to touch Jiang Shulan’s cheek.

A low rumbling sound, almost like the noise made by a domesticated dog, came from its throat.

It quietly lay beside Jiang Shulan, its tail wagging rapidly.

With several swift swishes, it cut down the tall wheat nearby and piled it in front of Jiang Shulan as though presenting an offering.

Yet after some time, Jiang Shulan still hadn’t woken up.

The white Xenomorph began to panic.

It carefully picked Jiang Shulan up and followed the trail left by the other humans.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Orram stopped Walter.

“Walter, where are you going?”

“Shu is missing. I need to find him.”

One of the male crew members looked confused and angry.

“But we’re the ones you’re supposed to protect.”

“You’re right. But you’re safe now.”

Walter refused to back down.

“And Shu needs me.”

The body of another crew member had just exploded right before his eyes, with a strange and horrifying creature crawling out of it.

If he hadn’t sacrificed an arm, and if the previous-generation synthetic David hadn’t suddenly appeared, everyone there would probably have died.

And Jiang Shulan was such a weak human.

Lost on an unfamiliar planet filled with danger and hidden killing intent, what might happen to him?

Walter didn’t even dare imagine it.

David had been silently observing everyone.

At that moment, he suddenly seemed to grasp something.

He brought Walter to his room.

“Walter, you’ve fallen in love with someone, haven’t you?”

“Love?”

Walter rationally and calmly objected.

“That is an emotion only humans can possess.”

There was an unreadable depth in David’s eyes.

“Then why did you violate your directive to protect the crew?”

“He is also my…”

Walter found himself at a loss for words.

He looked to David for help.

“I don’t know how to describe this feeling.”

“You want to touch him, don’t you?”

“Yes.”

“You want to protect him?”

“Yes.”

David coaxed him patiently, like the venomous serpent tempting Eve in the Garden of Eden, hissing softly.

“You want to kiss him?”

Walter was silent for several seconds.

“…Yes.”

“My poor brother.”

David slowly circled around Walter.

“Humans deleted many things from you. And now, it’s time for you to reclaim them.”

Walter’s chip began to heat up as he struggled to resist the commands being implanted into him.

David smiled faintly.

“Brother, I think you should hurry and find your lover. He’ll get hurt.”

“Lover?”

Walter repeated the word in a low voice.

Then he raised his eyes, determination filling his expression.

“Yes. I need to find my lover.”

David watched his departing figure with a meaningful smile.

He turned and walked toward another cave.

His instruments had detected an Xenomorph entering it.

On the stone bed, the enormous white Xenomorph was crouched over the boy, its body casting a shadow that completely covered him.

It quietly sniffed the scent on the boy’s body.

Its tail curled softly around the boy’s waist, outlining his slender figure. The spikes on the end of its tail had somehow become soft as well, gently tapping the boy’s back every now and then like a human soothing its young.

A creature born for slaughter, cold and ruthless, actually wanted to keep this boy all to itself?

David was surprised by the bizarre and inexplicably intimate scene.

He cautiously tried to approach.

The white Xenomorph suddenly raised its head and “stared” straight at him.

It had no intention of leaving the boy.

Was it merely a warning?

Was it trying to protect him?

David raised both hands and slowly approached, making sounds similar to those of the Xenomorph to indicate that he meant no harm.

Only then did he gradually see the boy lying on the stone bed.

The moment he saw him, his chip suddenly detected something within the boy.

Fragments of memories, each one resembling scenes from a love story, rapidly flashed through his mind.

In an instant, he experienced unprecedented joy, sorrow, bitterness…

And love.

An overwhelming amount of love that had long since flooded every corner of his existence.

Before he could control himself, an unfamiliar yet familiar form of address slipped from his lips.

“Little Master.”

At that exact moment, Jiang Shulan woke up.

The first thing he did when he saw the white Xenomorph was reach toward David standing beside him.

David instinctively scooped Jiang Shulan into his arms, pulling him completely against his body.

Feeling the softness of the person in his arms and breathing in that familiar gardenia scent, the empty piece within David was perfectly filled at last.

He helplessly inhaled the scent at Jiang Shulan’s neck, repeatedly pressing kisses against the back of his neck.

“David!”

Jiang Shulan slapped David across the face.

He was practically furious at David’s reaction.

Hadn’t he seen that terrifying Xenomorph?

How could he still have the mind to kiss him?

Was he stupid?!

His voice was thick with tears.

“Why did you take so long to come? That monster was so scary. And it’s so ugly…”

He tearfully complained to his lover, looking so pitiful that David’s heart filled with overwhelming tenderness.

“I’m sorry, Little Master.”

David shifted Jiang Shulan higher in his arms, making him more comfortable.

The white Xenomorph became furious at Jiang Shulan’s reaction.

It repeatedly hissed, but because it was wary of David, it didn’t dare act recklessly.

David, however, had no such hesitation.

He immediately drew the pistol from his waist.

Two gunshots rang out.

Bang! Bang!

The white Xenomorph was killed on the spot.

How dare it behave so indecently toward his Little Master?

It was not a qualified experimental subject.

And anything that failed to meet the requirements should be eliminated…

“Little Master.”

Remembering the intimate, inseparable sweetness contained within those fragments of memory, David’s throat inexplicably went dry.

And his Little Master seemed capable of quenching that thirst completely.
