Join the ServerAfter David’s relentless pursuit, Jiang Shulan finally gave in and agreed to try being with him.
There were only the two of them on the entire ship, which was very convenient.
Convenient for David.
Once again pinned down on the dining table, Jiang Shulan kicked David away.
He straightened his clothes, his waist and back aching. “You clearly can’t even… so why are you so obsessed with this?”
Although he admitted it felt good, David seemed to want to stay attached to him all day long, not even letting go while they were eating or drinking.
The most terrifying part was that David could clearly sense the condition of his body. As an android, every aspect of him was top-tier. He never got tired. Whenever Jiang Shulan’s body reacted, David would immediately increase the pace, never stopping for even a second.
During the worst week, Jiang Shulan didn’t wear pants at all. He only wore a shirt. David would wrap an arm around his waist, lift him up, and…
“Because I want to put Little Master inside my body,” David said, sounding troubled.
It seemed he hadn’t set the dosage of the “hormone” stimulant in the chip high enough. Little Master was having a hard time enduring it.
“I don’t care!”
Jiang Shulan exploded, grabbing the coat David had spread across the dining table and throwing it at him.
“If you keep doing this, I’m getting into the cryo-pod!”
“The cryo-pod?”
David caught the coat with ease, his eyes lighting up.
“We haven’t tried that place yet. And Little Master looks very cute when he’s asleep. That morning, you even… got my pants wet.”
“What?!”
Jiang Shulan’s eyes widened.
“What morning? What do you mean, got them wet?”
David smoothly changed the subject.
“Little Master doesn’t need to be embarrassed. That was just a normal physiological reaction.”
“David! We weren’t even together yet, and you dared to do that to me!”
Jiang Shulan seized on David’s mistake, crossed his arms, and glared at him.
“I’m angry.”
David immediately reacted, moving close to him attentively.
“Does Little Master need to rest?”
“Of course I do.”
“I can carry Little Master to the bed so you can rest properly.”
“Wait! David, you bastard!”
“Mhm.”
The abandoned dining table gradually cooled, while the soft bed once again welcomed its two owners.
Jiang Shulan was completely trapped in the web David had woven around him. His fingers cramped as they clutched the bedsheets, his mind falling apart, while the air filled with the intoxicating scent of gardenias.
It was the body wash from his shower.
David had somehow found a way to use it here.
David held up his fingers before him and said in a tone as serious as if he were discussing a scientific problem,
“I really like this scent. Little Master, can you guess what it smells like?”
Jiang Shulan turned his head away, not wanting to look, his ears burning red. His body was firmly pinned beneath David, unable to move, and he could only bite his lower lip and sob softly.
“I don’t want to guess.”
“Why?”
David kissed his lips.
“Isn’t this Little Master’s favorite gardenia scent? I smell it every day. It smells wonderful.”
Jiang Shulan was drenched in sweat, as if he had just taken a shower. Tears trembled continuously at the corners of his eyes and rolled onto the pillow, not a single one falling calmly.
David liked this position because he could clearly see his face.
Jiang Shulan only felt unbearably embarrassed.
He had just raised a hand to cover his face when David picked him up in that same position and slowly carried him into the shower.
“Look, Little Master. There’s still plenty of body wash left. I have a way to make this scent stay on you even longer.”
David’s voice was slightly hoarse.
He had deliberately made it sound that way, because in truth he didn’t feel strained at all.
“Will Little Master try it with me?”
“No.”
Jiang Shulan’s feet tensed, his nails digging deeply into David’s synthetic skin as he shook his head through tears.
“I don’t want to. You’re lying.”
David kissed him.
“You clearly do.”
This was the terrifying thing about David.
When everything was finally over, Jiang Shulan was crying uncontrollably.
They were still connected.
Only when he fell asleep would David clean him up and separate from him temporarily, and then everything would begin again the next day.
The entire ship had become David’s research facility.
There were six months left before they reached Earth.
Jiang Shulan looked at the calendar and laughed.
[Two years! System, do you know how I survived these two years?!]
From being completely unable to endure it at first, to eventually still having enough strength to slap David across the face.
After realizing his stamina had improved, he had even tried exercising on the treadmill.
David had turned that into exercise too.
The system, seeing that Jiang Shulan had accepted David surprisingly well, asked,
[Do you still want to complete the mission?]
Jiang Shulan nodded without hesitation.
[Of course.]
[Then I’ll open a back door for you.]
[Really? That nice?]
‘It only wanted to touch you as soon as possible, idiot.’
But the system answered seriously,
[I just want you to finish the mission quickly.]
[You’re the best!]
“Little Master.”
David pushed the door open, wrapped him tightly in his arms, and quickly explained the situation.
“A wormhole has appeared ahead. The ship can’t avoid it. But don’t worry. I implanted a chip in your body. No matter where you end up, I’ll always be with you.”
Jiang Shulan guessed that this wormhole was probably the back door the system had opened for him.
But…
“A chip?!”
He grabbed David by the collar and demanded aggressively,
“What chip?”
“Little Master.”
David kissed him.
Jiang Shulan slapped him away.
David simply pressed his face against Jiang Shulan’s palm and said softly,
“I love you.”
“Don’t think this chip issue is over just because you said that! I’m telling you!”
A streak of black light suddenly flashed before Jiang Shulan’s eyes.
He pointed at David and declared,
“David, you’re finished!”
“What? Who are you?”
“David?”
Jiang Shulan looked around and realized the surroundings had completely changed.
The warm room filled with little night lights had become a cold spacecraft lined with pipes and machinery.
The man before him had exactly the same face as David, but his expression and clothing were completely unfamiliar.
Walter was equally confused.
He was certain that no one had been standing here a moment ago.
How had this boy suddenly appeared?
Had a stellar flare near the ship caused some kind of anomaly?
Walter stepped back cautiously.
“Who are you?”
The boy unconsciously clenched the hem of his shirt, gripping it so tightly that his knuckles turned white. The fabric was twisted into a wrinkled knot.
He stood there with his shoulders slightly hunched, looking like a small animal that had been caught in the rain and didn’t know where to hide, stubbornly refusing to make a sound.
For some reason, Walter suddenly felt that he looked pitiful.
He had an overwhelming urge to hold him and comfort him gently.
Contrary to Walter’s imagination, Jiang Shulan was anything but timid.
He was practically ready to poke the system in the eye as he demanded angrily,
[System!]
The system calmly reassured him.
[This is a parallel world 133 years later. You’re aboard the Covenant. Stay here for a few days, and you’ll be able to complete the mission smoothly.]
[Then what about my identity?]
[You can tell them the truth.]
[Won’t they think I’m some kind of monster and burn me alive?]
[No one will be willing to do that.]
“My God! Who are you?!”
Daniels immediately raised her gun.
“Put your hands up.”
Jiang Shulan timidly raised both hands.
[Is this what you meant by ‘no one will be willing to’?]
[I was referring to someone else.]
