Join the ServerThe two quickly found Room 105.
It was a double room. A strange woman lay on the bed by the window.
On the bed near the door, Lin Mo was half-lying down, her right calf in a cast, suspended and fixed in the air.
She looked a bit pale, but her eyes were still clear, gazing out the window.
“Mom!”
Lin Shishi choked out a sob and rushed to the bedside, tears welling up again.
Song Qinghuan followed quickly, bowing slightly, her tone respectful and concerned.
“Hello, Auntie. I’m Song Qinghuan, Shishi’s classmate. How are you feeling? Is it serious?”
Lin Mo clearly hadn’t expected her daughter to bring a classmate, nor for her daughter to be dressed like that.
Her gaze moved from Lin Shishi’s tear-streaked face to her visually striking outfit—a shockingly short skirt and a thigh ring that bordered on explicit. It was no longer just “sexy”; it was a highly suggestive, adult-style ensemble.
Lin Mo’s brow furrowed immediately. “Shishi… you… why are you dressed like that?”
Lin Shishi stiffened, her sobbing halting for a moment. Her face flushed crimson as she stammered, “I… I…”
“Auntie, it’s like this.”
Song Qinghuan reacted quickly, her face wearing a perfectly apologetic smile.
“Our school club had an event today—a cosplay exhibition. The character Shishi played required this kind of outfit, which is… quite unique. We just finished the event when we got the call. We were so worried that we came straight here without even changing clothes.”
Her explanation was clear and sincere, backed by a beautiful, convincing face. It was hard to doubt her.
Lin Mo’s tense expression softened slightly after hearing this. She let out a soft “Oh.”
Although she still found the explanation a bit far-fetched—what kind of cosplay required something so…? Still, it was better than letting her imagination wander to worse possibilities.
Her gaze shifted to Song Qinghuan.
This girl was tall, strikingly beautiful, poised, and eloquent. She seemed like a fine young woman.
A hint of goodwill crossed Lin Mo’s face, and her tone became gentler. “Thank you for accompanying Shishi and for being so thoughtful. It’s nothing serious—just a mild fracture in my right calf. The doctor says I’ll need at least a month of hospitalization and observation.”
“What about the expenses?”
Song Qinghuan immediately picked up on that, her expression serious. “Auntie, if you have any difficulties, please let me know. I have a card with me; I can pay upfront.”
Lin Mo was startled and quickly waved her hand. “No, no, that won’t be necessary. Expenses… I’ll manage somehow. It’s okay, it’s okay.”
But the momentary hesitation in her voice and the flicker of worry in her eyes did not escape Song Qinghuan’s sharp gaze.
Lin Shishi, standing by with her head down, bit her lower lip lightly, her fingers unconsciously twisting the hem of her skirt. She looked as if she had something to say but was struggling internally.
Song Qinghuan understood immediately.
She said politely to Lin Mo, “Auntie, please rest for a bit. Shishi and I will go ask the doctor about the specifics and see what procedures need to be handled.”
With that, she gave Lin Shishi a look and, without waiting for a reply, pulled her out of the ward and into the relatively quiet stairwell.
The stairwell was dimly lit, filled with a faint mix of dust and disinfectant.
Song Qinghuan gently pressed Lin Shishi against the wall, stepping closer until they were almost touching.
Leaning in, she gazed into Lin Shishi’s teary, panicked eyes and asked bluntly, “Tell me the truth. Do you have enough money?”
Overwhelmed by Song Qinghuan’s oppressive presence, Lin Shishi trembled. Her lashes fluttered, and her lips moved, but she didn’t dare speak. She shook her head slightly, then nodded, her eyes darting away.
Song Qinghuan was a bit annoyed, yet she found the girl’s pitiful appearance endearing.
She reached out, hooked a finger under Lin Shishi’s chin, and forced her to look up. Her tone was commanding and firm.
“You silly girl, you poor little thing. If it’s not enough, just say so! Have you forgotten who you are? You’re going to be a princess—mountains of gold and silver await you. This little bit of money? Think of it as a loan from me.”
“But… my money doesn’t come for free.”
At this, Song Qinghuan’s expression turned sly.
Lin Shishi looked confused.
Song Qinghuan leaned in even closer, her red lips almost brushing Lin Shishi’s ear. Her warm breath carried a teasing tone. “You’ll have to repay me with your… body. Tonight, I’m going to bully you thoroughly, mercilessly, until you cry and beg for mercy, and pay back this debt—principal and interest—clear.”
The explicit words made Lin Shishi shudder.
Her sensitive body tensed, and she bit her lip.
The strange smell in the air returned.
Song Qinghuan sniffed. “You didn’t…?”
Lin Shishi blushed and nodded.
Song Qinghuan couldn’t help but smirk.
‘You little slut… you really are something.’
But Lin Shishi quickly changed the subject, still blushing, and nodded lightly. “Thank you… Master.”
“Thank me for what?”
Song Qinghuan pulled back a little, admiring her shy, submissive look, and licked her lips, her eyes dark. “If you really want to thank me—then thank me properly tonight.”
Lin Shishi blushed even deeper.
‘Bad dog owner… really too bad…’
“But… but…”
Lin Shishi thought of her mother in the ward and hesitated. “Mom needs care. I have to stay at the hospital tonight.”
Song Qinghuan raised an eyebrow, a wicked grin spreading across her face. “Then we’ll both stay. Did you think I’d leave you alone here? Of course I’m staying in the ward too…”
She paused deliberately, enjoying the sight of Lin Shishi’s eyes widening and her ears turning red, before slowly finishing, “And then, when it’s late and quiet, in a corner where Auntie can’t see… or right on that little visitor bed, I’ll bully you properly. How does that sound?”
Lin Shishi was so embarrassed she felt like fainting. Even her neck flushed pink.
Uncontrollably, strange images flashed through her mind.
But in the end, she blushed and nodded—so faintly and quickly it was almost imperceptible.
After all… it wasn’t the first time.
Her young body had long remembered Song Qinghuan’s touch and possession.
“Good girl.”
Song Qinghuan stroked her hair approvingly, then took her hand. “Let’s go. First, we’ll pay the fees and put your mother’s mind at ease.”
The two went to the hospitalization billing counter.
Song Qinghuan let Lin Shishi do the asking while she stood by.
A middle-aged female doctor checked the records and said, “For Lin Mo’s condition, including surgery, follow-up treatment, hospitalization, and medication, the total estimated cost is at least seventy thousand yuan. She’s already paid a thirty-thousand deposit, so there’s a shortfall of about forty thousand that needs to be covered soon.”
Lin Shishi was shocked.
That was no small amount—even though her identity had changed, she was still constrained by her old poverty mindset.
In her memory, a few tens of thousands could have cost her her life!
But Song Qinghuan stepped forward calmly, pulled a black bank card from her wallet, and placed it gently on the counter, smiling gracefully. “Doctor, please use this card to settle the bill. The password is six sixes. There’s more than enough.”
