I was utterly startled when the old man revealed that the weapons in the entire room were worth eight million. Initially, I had estimated them to be only a few hundred thousand, so this price was quite steep indeed!

However, even at eight million, if these weapons were to multiply a hundredfold in value during the apocalypse, people would still fight tooth and nail over them.

If the apocalypse were merely a dream, I wouldn’t be so bold with my spending.

But then, my spatial ability had manifested.

This was the ultimate proof that the apocalypse was truly imminent.

Therefore, I could only pray that the black card my sister gave me held enough funds to purchase all these weapons.

Under the old man’s watchful gaze, I pulled the black card from my pocket and handed it to him.

After he took the card, the old man produced a card reader from seemingly nowhere, swiped the card, and prompted me to enter my password.

Without a moment’s hesitation, I entered the password.

If the old man intended to pull a fraudulent scheme, taking my money without giving me the weapons, I would almost welcome it. As it stood, I had no reason to act, and watching eight million vanish before my eyes would cause me considerable heartache.

That money could buy many valuable supplies for the apocalypse.

The reason I wasn’t afraid of a scam was that even though my physical conditioning wasn’t superb at the moment, I could still easily subdue all these individuals.

Indeed, the moment I stepped into this room, I had acutely sensed several capable presences secretly observing me from the shadows.

I presumed they must be bodyguards hired by this weapon shop; otherwise, why would an old man be left to mind the store?

Once the payment from the card was successful, the heavy stone that had been weighing on my heart finally settled.

Thankfully! The card truly held enough funds!

“Alright, young man, you’re quite the hidden talent. Since payment’s done, these items are all yours.”

“Thank you.”

“It’s nothing. Having received such a large sum from you today, I’ll offer a kind reminder. You should contact your friends immediately and have them pick you up here. The moment I leave this building, people will rush in to snatch things. The individuals around here are not good sorts; blinded by greed, they might even resort to blades.”

“Understood. Please, go ahead. I’m already prepared.”

“Ah, young calves fear no tigers! Never mind, look after yourself!”

Smiling, I nodded towards the old man and adopted an indifferent expression, my implication being that he should leave quickly and not linger.

The old man likely hadn’t expected such a reply from me. He shook his head with a look of regret, then sighed before walking directly out the door.

He probably hadn’t encountered someone as heedless as me. With inherently weak strength, even acquiring a room full of weapons wouldn’t guarantee one would survive long enough to keep them.

I wasn’t foolish; what the old man could conceive, I naturally could as well.

For an ordinary person, such an action would undoubtedly lead to certain death.

But I am different. I, Bai Han, possess spatial ability.

Only after confirming that the old man and his bodyguards had truly departed did I dare to reveal my spatial ability.

After all, my spatial ability was just like those described in novels; if anyone actually saw it, they would be profoundly shocked.

After swiftly clearing the room of every single weapon, I retracted my spatial ability.

It was a good thing I urged the old man away directly. If he hadn’t left, though it might have been a bit safer, I wouldn’t have been able to use my spatial ability to collect things so easily.

While exposing my ability now wouldn’t be a big deal, after my rebirth, I didn’t want anyone to know I possessed spatial ability.

The scene of my death by jumping from a building before my rebirth was still vividly stored in my memory. Since I had been reborn, I didn’t intend to live the same way I did before.

Therefore, my spatial ability needed to be concealed for now.

Once my abilities grew stronger, there would be no need for concealment, and I could display them openly and without reservation.

“Hey, kid, are you here to buy something?”

“Huh? Me? I’m here to deliver takeout. Someone called my place to order food, so I brought it over, but I couldn’t find anyone!”

The moment I stepped out the front door of the house, just as the old man had warned, I was met by two burly men with menacing faces blocking my path.

As they fiercely questioned me, their malicious gazes swept over me repeatedly.

I feigned a fearful demeanor, lifting the takeout bag containing the lunchboxes slightly to show that I was truly just a delivery person.

Perhaps no one would have imagined that someone coming to buy weapons would actually bring food with them.

So, after the two big men saw no suspicious characteristics in me, they let me go with an impatient expression.

However, as they let me leave, they even went so far as to snatch the lunchboxes from my hand.

I, in turn, feigned indignation, stomped my foot emphatically, muttered that I’d never come back, and hurried away from the scene.

Others might not bring food to look at weapons, but I had spatial ability!

Leftovers from breakfast, kept in my spatial dimension, could still prove useful!
