Chapter 58: A Fiery Confrontation

When Bai Xia recognized the woman blocking their path as Wang Lili, her former best friend and betrayer, the fury on her face became impossible to conceal.

Having been privy to many of the reasons behind Bai Xia and Wang Lili’s fractured friendship, I found myself with no desire to stop my sister. I watched as she opened the car door, eager to settle scores with Wang Lili.

After all, Wang Lili had once attempted to deliver Bai Xia directly to Brother Li. Had my sister not acted today, I would have eventually sought out the woman and ended her life myself.
