Chapter 43: The Awakening of a Sister

After I had finished lecturing my sister, I immediately retrieved a crystal core from my spatial storage.

I handed the core to her, watching as she curiously turned it over in her hands. A soft chuckle escaped me, and I shook my head gently.

It was finally time for my sister to awaken her abilities.

Immediately, I began to explain the crystal core’s purpose to her.

Her previous dejected and sorrowful mood vanished, replaced by an eager gaze. She lifted her face, her eyes sparkling as she looked at me.

“Brother, how do I use this crystal core to become as strong as you?”

“It’s simple. Just crush its outer shell with your hand.”

“Like this?”

After I spoke, my sister extended her thumb and forefinger, gripping the crystal core and holding it suspended in the air.

‘Crack!’

With a single exertion of her fingers, the crystal core shattered instantly.

Immediately, countless black dust motes drifted out from within, hovering in the air and swirling around my sister.

As my sister crushed the crystal core, I consciously stepped back more than ten paces, putting a significant distance between us.

“Brother, why did you suddenly move so far away from me? Also, what are all these things?”

“You need to absorb this dust to awaken your body’s abilities. If I were too close, I would instinctively attract the dust, so we must maintain our distance.”

After I spoke, my sister, a look of skepticism mixed with curiosity on her face, reached out and struck the wooden chair back beside her.

After the chair back broke and flew, my sister looked down at her hands, her face filled with disbelief. It was as if she were staring at an alien.

“Yes. An image will appear in your mind shortly. You must remember it well!”

“Okay, wait, why is everything going dark?”

“The image is about to appear. Now, you must concentrate.”

Only after the image also appeared in my sister’s mind did I finally relax and sit directly on the ground.
