Join the ServerThe doors of the Pope’s Hall opened, and Monet walked in hurriedly.
“Monet, you’ve worked hard…”
The Pope first offered words of comfort to Monet, who had traveled back through the night.
“I know you are furious, but the most important task at hand is dealing with the undead. Putting the cart before the horse will only bring about an even greater disaster.”
Understanding that Monet harbored lingering resentment in her heart, the Pope attempted to soothe her. Which threat was greater—the undead or the Greenskins—was obvious without even thinking.
“I understand, Your Holiness. Please, allow me to join the front lines of the war against the undead.”
Filled with anger, Monet only wished to channel that rage outward, and the undead made for a natural outlet. After consulting with the others, the Pope nodded in agreement.
“Very well. However, I will send people to protect your safety.”
The tragic fate of Daisie was a mistake that could never be repeated.
Monet could only nod in agreement. Now, alongside the Holy See’s army, players were also joining the fray; because Fate Paradise lacked abundant questlines, they needed to participate in a war to reap greater benefits.

The army of Ten Directions Extinguished was marching toward Qin Yu’s territory.
“Guild Master, should we participate in this war against the undead by the Church?”
A subordinate asked.
“Yes, of course. Once we clear out Don Quixote’s territory, we’ll head straight back to the city and join the Church’s army. It’s the perfect plan.”
Guild Master Storm had already mapped out his sequence of operations: take Don Quixote’s territory, then fish in troubled waters during the Church’s war against the undead. This way, his guild’s development would surge forward once again.
“But Guild Master, will we have enough time? Wouldn’t assaulting a player’s territory take a long time?”
“A mere Level 1 territory won’t take long. We’ll aim to resolve the battle within a day, just in time to rendezvous with the Church’s army.”
Pleasant delusions formed in Storm’s mind; he could already imagine Don Quixote and her friends defeated and exasperated.
It was a pity this wasn’t a real war, or he could have captured them and done as he pleased to exact his previous revenge.

Back in Qin Yu’s territory.
Despite knowing that the army of Ten Directions Extinguished was coming to attack them, not a single person in the territory felt any sense of crisis.
Especially Don Quixote and her four companions, who would occasionally log off to rest and only return after long stretches of time.
Qin Yu truly felt that he was turning them soft.
“You five, if you don’t know what to do, go train with Hong and the others. Improve and adapt to combat—the combat in this game is one hundred percent realistic.”
Right now, Fate Paradise was still just a game; but when the game materialized and merged with the real Earth, Fate Paradise would become reality.
“Train with children?”
Don Quixote considered herself well-versed in the game’s combat mechanics; sparring with children felt beneath her…
“If you think it’s embarrassing, let Hicari teach you.”
Qin Yu called over Hicari and explained the situation to her.
“Yes! My Lord, I will instruct them earnestly!”
Hicari was exceptionally serious and executed the Lord’s orders with absolute resolve. And so, the five of them were led away by Hicari to begin a grueling, life-altering experience of acting as sandbags.
“Hawthorn, you’re blocking my position!”
“I am not! Chen tripped me just now.”
“I was blocked by Rice Ball; she was daydreaming.”
“Rice Ball was not daydreaming, Rice Ball was observing…”
Their teamwork was abysmal—nowhere near as sharp as in his previous life, Qin Yu couldn’t help but sigh.
Still, Don Quixote held her own; her reaction time was exceptionally fast, proving she was indeed a talented player.
“You four are way too soft.”
Don Quixote, having just finished sparring with Hicari, roasted the other four.
“We aren’t geniuses like the pro player Sugar~”
The other four had long since grown used to lagging behind Don Quixote; they accepted their fate and invited mockery.
“Your coordination is far too poor. I will teach you the most basic formation positioning and attack sequences until you develop mutual synergy.”
Hicari earnestly formulated a training plan tailored to the five of them.
“Hicari is taking things seriously again~”
Nanafu fluttered over and landed on Qin Yu’s shoulder.
“Little fairy, among the younger generation in Avalon, must Hicari be considered exceptionally outstanding?”
Qin Yu seized the opportunity to fish for some information about Hicari from Nanafu.
“Of course she is~!” Nanafu put her hands on her hips and puffed out her chest proudly, as if she were talking about herself.
“Hicari is the strongest elven knight of her generation, and she has the highest chance of earning the title of Emerald Knight!”
So, Hicari was essentially the top trainee among the elven knights.
Qin Yu already knew a thing or two about elven knights; they relied heavily on their combat mastery. Upon reaching Tier 6, they could obtain an elven knight’s exclusive mount. At Tier 7, they could awaken a Destined Relic, though their Relics were somewhat special—resembling a form of “nature spirit.”
To put it simply: a “stand attack.”
“Then why did you guys come to a backwater place like mine?”
Logically speaking, a talent of Hicari’s strength and aptitude shouldn’t have been assigned to a fledgling territory like Qin Yu’s.
At the mention of this, Nanafu grew indignant. She puffed out her cheeks unhappily. “It’s because those peers of Hicari’s in Avalon were jealous of her, pulled strings behind the scenes, and bullied Hicari because she didn’t want to compete with them…”
Nanafu looked ready to scratch someone’s eyes out. Qin Yu poked her gently. “Are you going to eat people, little one? Such a scary expression doesn’t suit you.”
“Whatever…” Nanafu’s anger vanished instantly. “Still, this isn’t bad. We met you, Lord.”
Nanafu’s impression of Qin Yu was exceptionally high; her affinity toward him sat at 71, placing him firmly in the “good friend” category.
“Then thank you for the praise. I hope more little fairies like you come over in the future, so I can plant herbs and run a self-sufficient business in the territory…”
Having five little fairies allowed one to build a small garden where various plants could be cultivated. With a fairy’s care, the plants grew at an accelerated rate—truly a masterclass tool for farming.
“If My Lord wishes, I can have the other fairies I know come over as well. It’s just that if they do, the number of forest elves coming will…”
The more fairies that arrived, the fewer forest elves would come—everything in life was a trade-off.
As they spoke, an Amazon warrior came running over.
“My Lord, an army is approaching our territory. It should be the one you mentioned…”
“Oh? They’re here. Good. You Amazon warriors stand by for now; just intercept and wipe out any escapees. Leave the rest to us.”
“Yes!”
The stage was set, and they were just waiting for the guild of Ten Directions Extinguished to step onto it.
