Join the ServerFortunately, the Tier 4 Dragonborn mage had survived; as long as he was still around, Storm felt that nothing was truly lost.
This scattered army was fleeing back in disarray, but their trail had long since been locked onto by the warriors of the Amazon tribe.
Along the path this army had to take to retreat, layers of traps had already been laid.
The Tier 1 Dragonborn foot soldiers walking at the front were swallowed without warning by a collapsing pit, greeted below by countless sharpened spikes. After a chorus of agonizing screams, the fifty Tier 1 Dragonborn foot soldiers were reduced to just over thirty survivors.
“Traps?!”
Storm didn’t understand—when had these traps been set? Could it be…
Sensing suddenly that they had been ambushed, Storm frantically tried to order the entire army to be on guard. However, the Amazon blowgunners hidden in the tree canopy had already begun their assault: Swish! Swish! Swish!
Poison darts pierced the unprepared soldiers, and the venom rapidly spread through their systems.
Soldiers fell one by one, and Storm felt his heart bleed.
Were they really going to be hunted down to the last man?
“Who is there?! Show yourselves!”
Storm and the remaining players on his side also went on guard. Their strength wasn’t formidable yet, but they were the leadership core of the army.
If they fell, the army would likely disintegrate entirely.
Swish!
A poisoned dart flew directly toward Storm.
The Dragonborn mage immediately chanted a spell to shatter it, giving Storm a severe fright.
“My Lord, the situation is looking bad…”
The Dragonborn mage sensed that something was amiss in the surroundings; the enemy was clearly well-prepared and had laid an ambush long in advance.
He could already sense the presence of over a hundred people.
“Wipe them out!”
Suddenly, a rough female voice rang out, and the Amazon warrior women swarmed them from all directions, catching Storm and his men completely off guard.
Before the formidable Amazon warriors, Storm’s army was utterly defenseless; only the Dragonborn mage could put up a meager fight.
“Guild Master, let’s teleport out of here! If we die again, the losses will truly outweigh any gains.”
Death resulted in a penalty to experience points and a chance to drop items of Rare quality or higher; unless you had nothing to lose, it was best to avoid dying.
“What about our army?”
Storm was filled with regret. Had he known, he wouldn’t have come to this damn place; he had thought he could easily crush Don Quixote, but it turned out he had grossly overestimated himself—Don Quixote was leagues ahead of him.
“Let’s go!”
Crushing their return scrolls, Storm and his remaining players vanished from the spot. The abandoned Dragonborn mage struggled in a futile, desperate defense, but facing several Amazon warriors of the same tier, he was hopelessly outmatched. Before long, an Amazon spear pierced the Dragonborn mage’s body, bringing the battle to a close.
The Amazon tribe suffered zero casualties, and all the plundered spoils were handed over to Qin Yu. With that, the battle concluded.
Receiving the news back at his territory, Qin Yu smiled happily. Not only had they won the battle, but because he was the master of the Amazon tribe, their combat experience was also fed back to him.
Sitting at home, Qin Yu was boosted directly to Tier 3, while Luna once again advanced to Tier 6.
Compared to others, Luna’s leveling method was much simpler; as long as Qin Yu grew stronger, she would grow stronger in turn.
“Hahahaha! Well done, human! Tier 6! Just one more tier, and that damn vampire won’t dare act so arrogant in front of me anymore!”
Having reached Tier 6, Luna was even happier than Qin Yu, eagerly awaiting the glorious return of her former Moon God self.
“Save your breath. The XP required to level up now has jumped to 10,000; leveling up further will be extremely difficult. Killing 10,000 Tier 1 mobs wouldn’t even be enough, and besides, where are you going to find that many monsters to grind…”
Qin Yu decided to burst Luna’s bubble first. As for what to do next, he already had a plan.
He wouldn’t participate in the war between the undead and the Holy See, but he wouldn’t miss the war against the Green Forest.
Right now, the Holy See and the majority of players were focused on the undead, completely ignoring the Green Forest Tribes—Qin Yu intended to capitalize on that exact blind spot.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to monopolize the rewards and experience of a massive world event?

Inside the guild territory of Ten Directions Extinguished.
Storm was pacing frantically back and forth in his room; his newly amassed army from the early stages had been completely wiped out, delivering a devastating blow to his momentum.
“No! I cannot let it end like this! I’m going to pay to win!”
Outraged, Storm resolved to whale heavily. Not only would he replace his lost army, but he would build an even stronger one.
Storm immediately contacted Dragonia, investing heavily to rapidly acquire a new batch of troops to participate in the war against the undead.
Afterward, he would settle the score with Don Quixote.
Having made up his mind, he immediately logged off and called his father, demanding a million yuan, all of which he pumped straight into the game. He then signed a new contract with Dragonia, secured his new army, and ramped up efforts to recruit refugees and buy slaves.
By converting them into cannon fodder units to fight for him, his army became even stronger than before…

On the side of the Holy See.
With the grand army assembled, they were already marching northward. All along the way, Monet’s expression never relaxed; she was still consumed by fury over the eastern cathedral.
The blasphemy of those Greenskins against the Holy Light was something she could never forgive.
Aside from Saintess Monet, the force also included the commanders of two knight legions—the Judgment Legion and the Temple Legion. The Commander of the Imperial Guard had been ordered to remain behind in the Holy City to guard against any contingencies.
Half the College of Bishops was also present, making this a major operation for the Holy See.
Meanwhile, the Dwarf Empire responded to the Holy See by dispatching an army of 50,000 to assist. With the addition of the player population, nearly 180,000 troops were now participating in the war against the undead.
“My King, the war between the Church and the undead is about to begin. It is time for us to make our move as well.”
Daisie stood by the side of the throne, looking at the Goblin Emperor; she could hardly wait to witness the scene of the cathedral being reduced to ruins.
In this newly constructed camp, the abducted nuns had suffered horrific torment—not only physically, but psychologically as well.
Because they had come to realize a horrifying truth: the human woman helping the Greenskins destroy the churches was none other than the Church’s former Saintess. This revelation was entirely too much for them to bear.
“The era… belonging to us is descending…”
The Goblin Emperor rose from the throne, spreading his arms as if to embrace the sky. The Greenskins below cheered, inciting even more of their kind to join in, the roaring cheers echoing continuously through the cavern.
The Greenskins began to indulge themselves, and Daisie was pulled into the Goblin Emperor’s embrace. A decadent banquet of flesh unfolded under the night sky…
