Chapter 19: Recycling Trash

Upon entering the Main World, Qin Yu had to choose a landing spot.

He needed to pick a place near a city to sell the mountain of trash he was carrying, then purchase essential supplies to prepare for territory construction.

“I choose the territory of the Holy See.”

Once the selection was made, Qin Yu, Yin Feixue, and Luna appeared in a wild, open field.

This area was near a town governed by the Church, making it a relatively peaceful region.

If nothing else, the Holy See had a knack for maintaining stability—it was a religious faith, after all, where “the holy light guides you” was the answer to everything.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a normal world…”

Yin Feixue spoke, voicing Luna’s inner thoughts as well; after staying in the Blood Soul Realm for so long, they had forgotten the colors of a normal world, seeing everything through a blood-colored filter.

The Main World was also known as the Origin Land, the birthplace of all life, where the powers of various gods crisscrossed, resulting in constant warfare.

The Main World was roughly a hundred times the size of Earth, vast and boundless with land and sea intertwined, where all factions were tangled together.

Major continental regions included the Central, Eastern, Western, Southern, and Northern Continents.

Oceanic regions consisted of the Western Ocean, Eastern Ocean, and the Far Eastern Sea.

Aside from these, there were smaller regions attached to the continents, such as the Far East or the Shadow Continent.

When Earth merged with this world in his previous life, its landmass projected into the Main World, forming a New Continent.

This meant the size of the Main World was infinitely expanding.

The Holy See was located in the southwest of the Central Continent, making it a relatively quiet area; further east lay dangerous zones where the Green Forest Tribes and the Drow Elves were active.

“There is a small town nearby; let’s head there first.”

Qin Yu just wanted to sell the pile of junk in his storage space as quickly as possible, though he wasn’t sure if the merchants in a small town had enough capital to buy it all.

Before they even reached the town, they spotted a merchant caravan traveling out of it.

“Convenient.”

Now they didn’t even need to enter the town; a large caravan like this would make an excellent buyer.

Shortly after, the caravan encountered three people blocking the road.

“Boss, there are people blocking the road up ahead!”

A guard went forward to report, and the entire caravan ground to a halt.

“Bandits? Or Greenskins?”

“Three humans. They don’t look like bandits, and two of them are very beautiful girls.”

“…”

The head merchant hesitated. “Ask them what they want first.”

“Yes, sir!”

Soon, a fully armed guard team faced off against the trio; it had to be said, their vigilance was top-notch.

“Who are you, and why are you blocking our caravan?”

“Apologies, we are travelers looking to hitch a ride with your caravan.”

The guard immediately relayed the situation to the merchant.

“Travelers? Tell them there’s a town just a short distance ahead and tell them to get out of the way.”

“Understood!”

The message was relayed back to Qin Yu and his group.

“The town isn’t where I need to go. Please ask your employer if he is interested in befriending a formidable alchemist.”

“An alchemist?”

The guards began whispering among themselves upon hearing this; Qin Yu smiled, knowing that alchemists held high status in this world, where even apprentices had to pass rigorous screenings.

The Alchemists’ Union, the largest gathering of their kind, only had 100,000 registered members, with a vast number of others still waiting to be officially recognized.

To put it in perspective, it was like being a high-ranking government official on Earth—no, even more prestigious than that.

“Please hand this over; I believe your employer is a man who knows quality when he sees it.”

Qin Yu tossed a recovery potion, which he had refined from casual herbs picked by the roadside, to the guard.

“Please wait a moment. I will report this.”

The guard immediately took the green potion to the head merchant.

The merchant scrutinized the vial for a moment before standing up abruptly, his expression turning solemn. “Quickly, take me to see him!”

“Yes, sir!”

Qin Yu and the others were waiting with varying degrees of boredom.

“Servant, can a potion you made so casually really catch someone’s eye?”

Yin Feixue’s question proved she wasn’t an expert in the field.

“High-purity recovery potions can only be refined by Grandmaster-level alchemists; for a vampire, you truly are ignorant.”

Luna, standing to the side, showed off her knowledge while not forgetting to mock Yin Feixue.

Yin Feixue glared at her, and Luna refused to back down.

“A mere servant of a servant dares to speak to your master’s master like that!”

“A puppet race that usurps the nest for a so-called awakening, sealed for hundreds of years—and yet you dare call yourself the master of a god!”

“A god? Are you talking about the god who only has Tier 4 strength and has become a toy for a Tier 1 human?”

Luna’s mental defenses were completely shattered by Yin Feixue’s words; she desperately wanted to thrash her, but her current lack of strength made her feel like a tiger trapped in a pit being bullied by a dog.

“Alright, alright, stop arguing.”

Qin Yu intervened; the two women were bickering non-stop, and if he added any more to the group, the chaos would be unimaginable.

The head merchant rushed over and saw Qin Yu.

“Greetings, esteemed Master Alchemist…”

The merchant opened with a title of respect, his face full of flattery, which made Qin Yu a bit uncomfortable.

Seeing this pot-bellied man acting so sycophantic, Yin Feixue and Luna both looked on with disdain.

“You wish to hitch a ride, correct?”

“Yes. I was wondering which major city you are headed to?”

The merchant patted his beer belly and answered with a grin, “Our original plan was to stop at another town before heading to the Holy City…”

The Holy City was the capital of the Holy See; going there was indeed a good choice, as he happened to have some intelligence he wanted to trade with the Church.

“Then we are going the same way.”

After a short negotiation, Qin Yu and his group became part of the caravan.

“I didn’t expect Mister Qin Yu to become such a powerful alchemist at such a young age; surely your alchemy has reached the ‘Expert’ level?”

The merchant probed cautiously; to have Expert-level alchemy at such an age would make him a person of high priority for the Alchemists’ Union.

He assumed the two girls were combat automatons responsible for his protection—especially the one with silver hair and red eyes, who looked formidable.

“Close enough…”

Above Expert was Master, and above Master was Grandmaster.

If one rounded up, it was indeed “close enough.”

“By the way, I have some things I’d like to sell to you, if you’re interested…”

“No problem! No matter how much you have, I’ll take it all!”

However, when Qin Yu began unloading the mountain of trash he had scavenged into his storage space, the merchant—who had just boasted about buying everything—found his face twitching uncontrollably.

Who would have thought this man would be carrying so much?

The cost of that storage space alone must have been a fortune, and this guy actually used it all to hold junk?
