Lin Qing was beset by numerous questions, eager to find answers from Su Yao.
However, the current situation was ill-suited for direct inquiry.
Despite this, her deliberate provocation made his fists clench involuntarily.
The warmth of her fingertips lingered, stubbornly refusing to fade even after she had withdrawn them.
It felt like a venomous snake, poised to strike, gently swaying its tail, ready to attack at any moment.
He had to evade it.
He couldn’t fall into her trap.
Every action Su Yao took had an underlying purpose, just as her speaking up for the bullied Li Dong now.
No matter how he looked at it, it was abnormal.
‘What exactly does she want?’
The thought left him utterly bewildered.
Lin Qing stared intently at Su Yao’s retreating back, a puzzled expression on his face.
“Su Yao, are you certain about what you just said? I wouldn’t want to wrongly accuse an innocent student!”
Upon seeing Su Yao deliberately approach, Wu Gang, having gained an advantage, feigned righteousness. He adopted an upright demeanor, declaring he wouldn’t wrongly accuse a good person, a display that made Li Weiqiang want to vomit.
‘This damned teacher is truly an eyesore, the more I look at him.’
‘And Su Yao, that vile woman.’
‘How dare she report him!’
“Teacher, I’m certain. Furthermore, I have a video as evidence.”
Su Yao’s response to Wu Gang’s deliberate questioning brought an unexpected revelation.
Su Yao calmly raised her phone, her face still adorned with a smile as warm as a spring breeze.
Yet, for Li Weiqiang, it felt as though he had plunged into an ice cellar, his limbs growing cold. He had never imagined Su Yao would have recorded a video.
The incident had happened so suddenly; there shouldn’t have been time to record it.
Unless Su Yao had already been filming something else and simply captured him beating Li Dong as a byproduct.
‘Damn it!’
All his efforts had been wasted.
Now, the situation had grown serious. He would face disciplinary action from the school.
“Excellent, well done. I’ll make sure you get credit for this.”
Seeing Su Yao produce the crucial evidence, Wu Gang raised his eyebrows, then looked at Li Weiqiang with a half-smile, knowing he could finally teach the young hooligan a lesson.
While the punishment wouldn’t be severe, it would at least bring some temporary peace to the school.
Perhaps bullying incidents would decrease as a result!
“Teacher Wu, I…”
“Enough. Don’t stand here arguing with me. Let’s go! We’re taking a trip to the Disciplinary Dean’s office. Su Yao, you come along too.”
With irrefutable evidence, Li Weiqiang had no recourse, even if he wished to argue further.
Li Weiqiang was about to soften his stance, but Wu Gang wasn’t having any of it.
Without giving Li Weiqiang another moment to speak, he pointed directly toward the Disciplinary Dean’s office, signaling them to move quickly and efficiently.
There was no time to dawdle here.
‘Where was his arrogance from when he was hitting someone? Where was his disdain for a teacher’s authority?’
“The rest of you students are free to do as you please. Don’t get mischievous just because I’m not around, alright? If I catch anyone, there will be severe penalties.”
“Yes!”
Before leaving, Wu Gang didn’t forget to give a final warning, then promptly departed with Li Weiqiang and Su Yao.
This left the students on the sports field buzzing with excitement, chattering animatedly about what had just transpired.
Their exhilaration was palpable, and it would take a long time for the excitement to subside.
Lin Qing, the one who had initially spoken up, was now forgotten. Everyone was discussing Su Yao’s name.
Their faces lit up with animated expressions, as if they were the ones who had reported Li Weiqiang.
There was no trace of their former timidness.
As the students gathered in small groups to chat, Lin Qing watched Su Yao’s receding figure. He knew he couldn’t keep lingering near her; he needed to talk to her face-to-face.
That was the quickest way to resolve his questions.
Beyond the red skull, the fact that Wu Gang was now a teacher also hinted at something unusual.
“Damn it, what did that fat pig Wang Fanran do? Brother Liu just called me, telling me not to touch him.”
As Su Yao’s figure gradually vanished from Lin Qing’s sight, Zhou Lin’s agitated voice suddenly erupted.
Upon hearing Wang Fanran’s name, Lin Qing tilted his head in confusion, wondering what trouble his problematic deskmate had stirred up now.

“Li Dong, are you alright?”
After Wang Fanran was the first to help Li Dong off the sports field, he didn’t immediately take him to the infirmary. Instead, he found a quiet spot and helped Li Dong sit on a bench.
He had only been beaten; it wasn’t anything serious.
Wiping away the nosebleed with a tissue would suffice.
Why bother going to the infirmary?
“Wang Fanran, why do people live? Why am I the only one who gets bullied?”
Li Dong, having composed himself, sat on the bench, curling his body tightly. The areas where he had been hit throbbed with pain, making him want to cry.
In fact, Li Dong was already weeping.
Tears and snot flowed uncontrollably. He haphazardly wiped them away with his sleeve, completely disregarding his appearance.
Wang Fanran, standing nearby, immediately showed a look of disgust.
However, Li Dong, preoccupied with wiping his tears, failed to notice the impatience in Wang Fanran’s eyes.
“Do you think you were just beaten because Li Weiqiang didn’t like the look of you?”
“???”
Wang Fanran’s words, however, made Li Dong stop wiping his tears.
He finally looked up, his face full of confusion, unsure what Wang Fanran meant.
“That hypocritical guy, Lin Qing, it’s all because of him that Li Weiqiang beat you so badly… and yet he pretends to be a good person. What a joke.”
“But…”
“Li Dong, we were middle school classmates. Don’t you trust me?”
Wang Fanran watched the hesitant expression on Li Dong’s face, sneering inwardly, then continued to fan the flames.
Precisely because they were former classmates, Wang Fanran understood Li Dong’s personality.
A fickle person, easily swayed, without his own opinions.
He would fall for it every time.
“Look at me. It’s because of Lin Qing’s instigation in class that I was bullied too.”
Wang Fanran directly lifted his hand and pulled up his shirt, immediately revealing purplish-blue bruises.
Seeing this, Li Dong was startled, having never imagined Wang Fanran had also been bullied.
‘Was it all because of Lin Qing?’
“Why would Lin Qing do that?”
Li Dong recalled Lin Qing, his face obscured by long hair, an image that felt utterly unfamiliar. He couldn’t recall ever seeing such a person at school.
“What else could it be? He’s psychologically twisted! I’ll tell you a secret: his methods are incredibly cunning! He’s exceptionally skilled at stirring up trouble. After today, Li Weiqiang will surely beat you half to death.”
As Wang Fanran spoke, he watched Li Dong’s expression gradually change.
His lips couldn’t help but curl upwards, but remembering his plan hadn’t yet succeeded, he immediately straightened his face, feigning concern for Li Dong.
Even though that pervert Chen Sen had helped him deal with Zhou Lin, the torment he suffered because of Lin Qing made Wang Fanran vow to repay it a hundredfold!
“What should I do!”
“Don’t worry, you still have me, your old classmate. I’ll help you.”
As Wang Fanran spoke, his smile finally broke through, spreading across his lips.
