She looked at me with a sly smile as she helped me onto the carriage. “Why are you so interested in her? But I suppose you were once a boy too. She showed up at the gate of our mansion one day, wearing strange clothes. She didn’t say where she came from—seemed like she lost her memory. So I took her in and made her a servant in my household… So why are you curious about her?”

“Your maid looks pretty good. How about giving her to me?”
She stepped in front of me, pointing at him.
“No way. She’s my personal maid. You’re not taking her.”
“Fine. Then be careful you don’t wake up one morning and find her gone.”
After saying that, he made a strange gesture at me and left.
She collapsed on the ground, sobbing. I walked over.
So this was her position in the royal family—so insignificant.
“Don’t worry, I won’t leave. And it’s getting late. Since you’ve been late before, don’t be late this time. I don’t know why you brought me here, but you must have a reason. So I won’t ask.”
She stood up, wiped her face, and took a few deep breaths.

She grabbed my hand and rushed toward a temple-like building.
