Gu Xuanyu stood with her hands on her hips, her eyebrows unevenly raised, clearly a little jealous of Ye Qing’s earlier action.

Shen Congqing, however, wasn’t particularly surprised. The most awkward person among them was Duanmu Jin, the Magical Girl supervisor and the most mature of the group.

Suddenly called upon, Shen Congqing paused for a moment, then slightly furrowed her willow-like brows.

Ye Qing questioned them rapid-fire, glaring at the two with dissatisfaction, but all she received in return was a cascade of crisp laughter.

“Ye Qing, perhaps we should wait until the costume arrives…”

Seeing Shen Congqing laughing so hard she couldn’t close her mouth, Ye Qing grew even more frustrated. After much deliberation, she concluded the problem must be in her laugh.

‘I need to laugh more evilly…’

Ye Qing’s delicate brows arched. She didn’t understand what the two were laughing at.

“Stop laughing. We’re rehearsing seriously, and isn’t this for children? It’s fine if the villain is a little silly-cute.”

Only then did Gu Xuanyu manage to stop laughing. Her wine-red eyes curved as she cupped Ye Qing’s small hands.

“I’m sorry, Ye Qing, I didn’t mean to laugh at you. This isn’t your fault…”

Ye Qing rubbed her forehead in resignation, shaking her head. She recomposed herself and continued the rehearsal.

To the side, Liu Qingruo lay sound asleep in her ‘coffin,’ completely oblivious to what was happening outside.

Ye Qing declared listlessly, throwing her body backward, pretending to be defeated by Shen Congqing’s ‘Holy Sword.’ However, just before she hit the ground, she felt a gentle support at her waist.

The silver-haired girl embraced her waist in a gentlemanly manner, her exquisite face drawing extremely close, causing Ye Qing to momentarily forget how to breathe.

“I want to add a scene, Ye Qing.”
