Chapter 138: A Glimpse of Silver Moon

When An Yueying returned to the room, the black-haired girl was still whispering furtively into Tang Nuo’s ear.

She walked silently behind Ye Qing and gently tapped the girl who was still chattering about their collusion plan, startling her into silence.

“Hey, what are you whispering about? Share it with me?”

Ye Qing was still shaken, her amber-like pupils trembling slightly. Fortunately, she was naturally calm, so her startled reaction wasn’t too abrupt. It took a while before she came to her senses and chided, “It’s all your fault!”

An Yueying chuckled softly and didn’t say more. Instead, she gently ruffled Ye Qing’s hair in a soothing gesture.

Unexpectedly, Ye Qing didn’t bristle but gradually calmed down.

Ever since An Yueying took her away from the Magical Girl Academy, Ye Qing had lost her temper with this wicked woman. Many times, when teased half-jokingly, as long as An Yueying soothed her like this, her emotions would settle.

“You’re blushing!” Tang Nuo exclaimed softly, instantly making Ye Qing embarrassed and annoyed.

“Nonsense.”

Pushing An Yueying’s hand away, Ye Qing lifted her head and looked around, searching for another familiar figure.

Naturally, she found nothing, which made her anxious.

[Xiao Yu, so slow…]

Inner unease urged Ye Qing to go look for her, but just as she stood up, she paused and then turned back to An Yueying.

“Hey, how does she know where we are…”

A moment later, Ye Qing stood at the door, fine rain brushing her face, but Ye Yu’s electric scooter was nowhere to be seen.

She stood dumbfounded in the rain, then couldn’t stop her body from trembling slightly.

Whether from the cold or some unspeakable anxiety.

Where should she look for her? Would she encounter danger…

Ye Qing’s mind was in turmoil, but all her anxiety eventually turned into helplessness.

She punched the wall, her hand aching from the impact.

Wait, An Yueying must have a way; she’s very powerful now…

“Sorry, I have no idea where she went.”

An Yueying spread her hands. That was the truth. Although she had let Ye Yu go, she didn’t have the habit of tracking others.

That umbrella was one of the Tea Party’s magical tools, like Tang Nuo’s glasses and Lin Shaoyao’s crystal ball. An Yueying had no way to track it.

Ye Qing stood blankly in the rain. The water quickly soaked her clothes, then trickled down her neck.

She knew why Ye Yu had left—because of her own dishonest concealment.

Ye Yu had changed. She was no longer the little girl who depended on her brother but a solitary young woman used to being alone. Rather than the haven Ye Qing provided, she preferred to ride alone in the rain.

“Don’t be too upset. Some things can’t be handled perfectly no matter how well you do.”

An Yueying wrapped a towel around Ye Qing’s neck and gently comforted her.

The black-haired girl was silent for a moment, then closed the door.

In truth, she could have told everything and made Ye Yu a member of the Tea Party. But Ye Qing worried not only about the hypnotist named Wang Bing but also about the trouble from CCB.

In Jinzhou, the Magical Girls’ consistent philosophy was to eradicate evil completely, with zero tolerance for evil organizations. And now An Yueying had attacked the Magical Girl Academy.

Ye Qing feared that one day this peace would be shattered. Not only would she be punished, but Ye Yu would also lose her life.

And there was Qin Yuxuan… What was that woman’s purpose? Ye Qing had no clue and could only try to keep Ye Yu from getting involved in these troublesome matters.

“Take a rest. Have some faith in your sister. She’s grown up, hasn’t she?”

“How can I not worry at a time like this?”

Ye Qing sighed helplessly and wiped her face with the towel.

Seeing the girl’s worried expression, An Yueying changed the subject: “By the way, do you want to see Silver Moon again? She’s replaced you as the new mascot now.”

At those words, Ye Qing’s brows shot up, and anger surged within her.

“Don’t compare me to that thing. And what do you mean by ‘mascot’?”

An Yueying smiled meaningfully. Whenever the topic returned to Silver Moon, her deep purple eyes seemed to brew countless cruel methods.

She didn’t like bloody scenes, and although Silver Moon’s blood was golden, An Yueying still detested it.

The most blood Silver Moon had shed was when An Yueying embedded black slime into her. Back then, Silver Moon writhed in agony, fainting many times, only to be roughly awakened by An Yueying’s magic potion, not allowed to escape.

Now, Silver Moon’s body was completely overtaken by magical tattoos, and the blood flowing in her veins was no longer the holy golden blood but a pink liquid with a strong hallucinogenic effect.

After losing interest in her, An Yueying handed her over to the evil executives. As for her current state, even An Yueying didn’t know.

“Go have a look. Maybe you have questions to ask?”

Ye Qing followed An Yueying to the second floor. As soon as she passed the stairs, she heard faint pleas from a young girl.

Following the sound, she saw a veteran pressing the white-haired girl in a maid outfit against the windowsill.

Hearing their approaching footsteps, the veteran casually let go, left the white-haired girl where she was, and walked away, seemingly displeased by the interruption.

But An Yueying didn’t care. She pinched the chin of the still-panting white-haired girl and forced her to turn around.

“Come, Silver Moon, take a look at your old acquaintance.”

Silver Moon’s appearance was now vastly different from before. After the magical patterns had completely covered her skin, they gradually faded, dyeing her originally snow-white skin into a seductive, tender pink.

Her golden eyes were no longer pure; faint heart shapes were etched into her pupils—whether from her own changes or the perverse tampering of the evil executives.

This was just what was visible outside the heavy maid outfit; what lay hidden was unknown.

Not daring to disobey An Yueying, Silver Moon trembled as she turned her gaze to Ye Qing, and instantly her whole body shook violently.

“I-I’m sorry…”

Ye Qing’s face fell.

Is this thing a broken record? That’s all it can say.

In fact, after these days, Silver Moon’s originally fragile mind had indeed broken down to some extent. She seemed to show different faces to different evil executives.

In a way, she was better at pleasing others than before.

“Shut up. I’ll ask, you answer.”

Scolded by Ye Qing, Silver Moon immediately fell silent, only nodding meekly, which even startled Ye Qing.

What exactly did An Yueying do to her…

“It was unclear over the phone. I’m asking you now: what else did you do to me that night?”

At this, Silver Moon became incoherent, stammering and unable to speak, unable to overcome her fear for a long time.

“I-I really didn’t do anything. I just gave you a little psychological suggestion…”

Just a little psychological suggestion? A little…

Ye Qing sneered, and for a moment, she couldn’t resist the urge to strike.

You mean this little trick could lock me in my room for three whole years?
