Join the ServerMu An took out a bottle of throat-soothing spiritual spring water from his storage ring.
“Drink some of this, Shizun. It will make your throat feel better.”
He had already prepared himself for Shen Shengqing to angrily knock the water bottle away.
Mu An kept the fingers of one hand tightly locked with Shen Shengqing’s, while using the elbow of his other arm to pin down the other side of his master’s body, leaving Shen Shengqing with no free hands.
Mu An brought the water bottle close to his lips, wondering how he should lift his master’s head to force him to drink.
To his surprise, Shen Shengqing raised his own chin and obediently drank the spiritual spring water.
The crystal-clear liquid trickled slowly down his thin lips, and droplets of water rolled down his slender neck.
Mu An could not help but marvel silently: the male lead was indeed the male lead, fully capable of yielding when necessary—a wise man who truly knew how to adapt to the circumstances.
Knowing that he was in a disadvantageous position, he chose not to resist blindly.
After feeding him a sip of water, Mu An’s brow relaxed slightly, a gentle smile appearing in his eyes.
He picked up a handkerchief and gently wiped the corners of his master’s mouth, his tone soft yet intensely obsessive, “Shizun is so good. I like Shizun so much.”
Shen Shengqing’s breathing suddenly grew heavy, and his fingertips unconsciously clenched tight.
Seeing this, Mu An became even more certain that his master was merely forcing himself to endure, and in reality, he must already hate him to the core.
Mu An let out a quiet sigh in his heart and released Shen Shengqing.
Shen Shengqing’s eyelashes trembled slightly, only to find that Mu An had not distanced himself completely, but had instead lifted his hands to wrap the handkerchief around the handcuffs as a layer of protection.
Once both the handcuffs and leg irons were padded with the soft fabric, Mu An lowered his eyes and gently applied medicine to his master’s wrists and ankles.
“Shizun, you must not do this next time. It breaks your disciple’s heart to see this.”
Mu An lifted his eyelids slightly, his beautiful eyes filled with a dark, unfathomable emotion, sounding partly like a threat and partly like genuine heartbreak.
It sent Shen Shengqing’s heart racing, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly.
Mu An only assumed his master was acting, trying to make him lower his guard.
Thus, he ignored the tenderness in his master’s eyes.
He stood up, retrieved all the furniture he had purchased during the day, and set it up inside the cave, creating a simple bedroom partitioned by a screen, with a rudimentary living area on the outside.
Thinking that his master might get bored, he had also specifically bought dozens of storybooks.
Well, in truth, Mu An had bought them because he was afraid of getting bored himself.
After arranging everything, he transferred his master from the ground to the bed, and lengthened the iron chains while he was at it.
“Shizun, would you like to see our home?” Mu An suddenly asked aloud.
Shen Shengqing was clearly tempted.
He rose, intending to get off the couch, but Mu An scooped him up in a horizontal carry.
Shen Shengqing was startled.
He had never expected to be carried bridal-style by An’an; in any case, he should be the one carrying An’an instead.
He struggled instinctively, but Mu An held him down, “Be good, Shizun.”
Shen Shengqing’s face flushed red instantly.
He still wanted to resist, but meeting Mu An’s slightly furrowed brow, he paused his movements instinctively.
It wasn’t that Mu An particularly wanted to carry Shen Shengqing, but with his master wearing leg irons, it was inconvenient for him to put on shoes.
He finally understood why male leads in certain overbearing president short dramas always laid down carpets when confining female leads: it was convenient so she wouldn’t have to wear shoes.
He made a mental note that he would have to find someone to custom-make a carpet tomorrow.
Mu An carried his master around the room, showing him the layout of the living area, “Shizun, you can move around here when you have nothing to do, but do not think of leaving the cave.”
“You have no spiritual energy; if you fall off the cliff, you will plunge to your death, and even as your disciple, I may not be able to save you.”
Having finished his gentle threat, Mu An began to paint a rosy picture, “It is still very rudimentary now, but I know what you like, Shizun. I will work hard to decorate this room exactly the way you like it.”
“When the time comes, we will live a good life here together, and you will let me serve you for the rest of your life, all right?”
Mu An gently placed Shen Shengqing back on the bed, but looking up, he met Shen Shengqing’s tender eyes.
In that instant, Mu An felt as if he had caught sight of a touch of verdant green amidst pristine snow—a gentle spark of life nestled within the cold.
His heart skipped a beat.
Mu An had absolutely no idea that his yandere declarations had completely aligned with Shen Shengqing’s inner desires.
Looking at the youth’s slightly dazed expression, a flicker of desire slowly surfaced in Shen Shengqing’s eyes, and he lunged forward to wrap his arms around Mu An.
His soft lips pressed against the youth’s slightly cool cheek.
In that split second, the wind fell still, and the night was silent.
The gentle glow of the night-luminescent pearl softened the love in the man’s eyes as he slowly released Mu An.
Only then did he see Mu An’s flushed face, those beautiful peach-blossom eyes now shimmering with a watery sheen.
“Don’t… don’t think that doing this will make me lower my guard!”
Mu An’s mind muddled for a brief second before he managed to pull himself together.
His master must want him to lower his guard, which was why he was feigning obedience!
It had to be!
Convinced of this in his heart, Mu An pinned Shen Shengqing down onto the bed, believing that as the villainous disciple, he naturally could not let his master easily gain the upper hand.
Suppressing his wildly beating heart, he leaned down abruptly and kissed Shen Shengqing’s lips.
Shen Shengqing’s eyes widened slightly, and his fingers tightened instinctively.
Just as Mu An was about to pull back, Shen Shengqing locked his arms around the back of Mu An’s head.
Like a dying fish, he desperately drained every drop of moisture from Mu An’s mouth, his eyelashes fluttering rapidly as his heart raced frantically.
He felt as though he could no longer find the stop button, yearning to simply die alongside Mu An within this very kiss.
Ultimately, it was Mu An who ran out of breath and had to use his spiritual energy to separate them.
His heart raced furiously, struggling to calm down. Why?! Why would Shizun kiss him with such madness?!
Could it be that he wanted to bite off his tongue and kill him?!
Sensing extreme danger, Mu An finally managed only a single sentence: “The night is deep, let’s sleep.”
The tips of Shen Shengqing’s ears turned red, his heart carrying a secret, hidden anticipation. He hadn’t expected his first time with An’an to happen under such circumstances.
It was slightly different from what he had originally planned, but since An’an was currently clad in red, didn’t that mean he had essentially married him?
Could this be considered their wedding night?
However, he very quickly realized he was overthinking things.
Mu An covered the night-luminescent pearl and wrapped his arms tightly around him from behind, comforting him considerately, “You’re injured right now, so I won’t touch you.”
Though Shen Shengqing harbored some dissatisfaction, this was still the first time An’an was holding him like this.
He couldn’t bear to refuse this gentleness.
Perhaps An’an wished to take the active role, but he wanted to be the active one too—what should he do about this?
With his spiritual energy completely gone right now, could he really take the top position?
Shen Shengqing suddenly began to panic inwardly.
Yet, listening to the warm, shallow breathing of the person behind him, he couldn’t help feeling happy again.
Forget it, let nature take its course.
Still, where on earth had An’an managed to acquire such an overbearing drug while constantly staying by his side?
And what motives could the person who gave him the drug possibly have? Could it be the work of the demon clan?
Was that drug really just meant to seal his spiritual energy?
He didn’t believe An’an would want his life, but he was worried that someone with malicious intent might be utilizing An’an.
