Chapter 33: An Unexpected Outfit

“My name is Yun Feibai. I don’t think I told you.” He suddenly told me his name.

“Oh okay, Brother Feibai!” I said readily, turning back to look at him.

Then Feibai carried me to his tent. He handed me the clothes and said, “Go inside and change.”

I took the clothes and went into the tent. There was a glowing crystal inside!

Then we walked to the campfire. A group of soldiers were gathered around, roasting meat. Some were drinking wildly at a wooden table on the other side.

Yi Qin sat on a fallen log by the fire, taking big bites of meat. A bottle of wine sat beside her.

“Oh, you changed? Fits well.” Yi Qin said when she saw me. “Girls really need nice clothes.” Om nom, she took another bite, savoring it.

“Mm, thank you, big sister. It’s very comfortable.” I smiled happily and, with a flick of the skirt, wrapped it around my legs and sat down on the log.

That wasn’t a lie. It was the truth. This was the first time in days I had underwear! Or rather, warm underwear!

And I had a pair of nice shoes. They were really comfortable.

“General, here.” Just then, a soldier brought a tray with over a dozen skewers of meat!

I immediately picked up a skewer and savored it slowly.
