Join the ServerThen, the man sat directly on my calf, completely immobilizing me.
“Ah?! What the hell? Don’t bully me like this!”
With my head pinned and legs trapped, I could only wriggle like a worm.
“Mmm! Mmm!” I instinctively tried to make a sound with my nose, hoping the others in the room would hear.
But the moment I did, I realized my mistake.
The sound I made was far too tempting.
That pervert got even more excited upon hearing my nasal sounds. I felt something thick stiffen against my calf.
The strange touch made me shudder with disgust.
Then, seeming afraid of being heard, the pervert moved his big hand up and covered my nose as well.
“Damn… I might get smothered to death like this.”
Next, he brought his drooling face close to mine, panting heavily while whispering threats: “Don’t make a sound! Or I don’t know what I’ll do!” He loosened his grip slightly, allowing me to nod.
Almost suffocating, I had no choice but to nod.
He moved his hand down a bit.
I took a deep breath.
“Since none of us have a way out anyway, let me have some fun before we go!” he panted. “Be good, or I can’t guarantee your safety with those little arms and legs.” He sounded especially excited when saying ‘little arms and legs.’
I nodded again.
Though his voice was twisted, I could tell he was Fang Changjie.
The same ‘scholar’ who had told me it was the 576th year of the Sacred Emperor Calendar.
I never imagined someone who seemed so proper could be so mentally fragile.
After a moment, he used his other hand to pull one of my legs out from under him.
“Now! Kick him!” almost all of my personalities said in unison.
With one leg freed, I quickly pulled out the other and kicked his vitals as fast as I could.
“Aaaah!” Fang Changjie screamed. His hand covering my mouth and the one grabbing my leg both released.
I wasn’t going easy. Seizing the moment, I pressed my waist against the bed, straightened both legs, and kicked sideways at his face with all my might.
“Puh!” He was knocked off the bed.
Maybe it was lucky force, or maybe the bed wobbled, or maybe he lost balance—anyway, I kicked him off. Though one of his legs was still hanging on my bed…
More coincidentally, his head slammed hard into the adjacent bed.
The loud noise and Fang Changjie’s screams woke everyone in the room.
I had wanted to shout, but now it wasn’t necessary.
The others subdued Fang Changjie, and someone untied the cloth binding my hands.
They started talking some sense into him, and I think he even got a few punches.
Too shaken, I didn’t remember clearly what happened next.
Amid the chaos, I fell asleep.
So now, today! The fourth day of s*ave life!
“By the way, was I completely exposed yesterday?”
“Definitely.”
“I’m screwed!!!”
“But don’t worry too much. You’re just a little boy, a kid. Besides, it was too dark in that room to see anything clearly.”
One of my personalities comforted me.
“I probably won’t forget last night for the rest of my life…”
The night attack left a deep psychological scar on me.
My body was so weak, with no power to resist.
Anyway, after that incident, my sleeping spot was moved between several girls.
After the first work period in the morning, I returned to the servants’ room.
At the door, I met Fang Shijie, his face bruised and swollen—the result of last night’s beating.
He looked embarrassed, but still sincerely bowed his head and apologized to me.
“Sorry… Ninety-nine, I lost my head for a moment. I’m sorry!”
“Mm… It’s okay…” I replied coldly.
I didn’t know how to respond. Could an apology really make up for something like that?
If this world had laws, I would have extorted tens of thousands from him as pocket money.
But what really upset me was hearing that my kick to his face hadn’t hurt him at all!
Oh my god, I kicked as hard as I could, and it did nothing!
What good is this body anyway?!
After that, I entered our room. Ten people had already returned.
Except for one burly woman, the rest were men.
We sat on the beds, chatting idly.
“When will this end!” a burly man knocked on the headboard, his face angry.
He was the brave one who had spit out the bug soup after one sip last time.
“Yeah, I can’t stand it! How many days has it been? Eating disgusting stuff every day, doing hard labor, and if you resist at all, they shock you until your limbs go numb! Damn!” a middle-aged man standing on the ground said, hands on his hips.
“Maybe we should escape?” a thin man suggested.
“Escape? Remember Brother Xin who tried to lead us out? What happened? He took over a dozen people and got caught by the guards! How did it end? He died, and even Xiaohuan died!” the burly man said.
I thought to myself, “Good thing I didn’t try to escape…”
I continued listening.
“Sigh, what should we do then?”
“What to do? Look at the people in the next room. They were captured half a month ago. I heard there were over forty of them! And now? Only a dozen left!”
“So this place is unlivable! Better escape as soon as possible!”
“Escape? How? The guys next door tried three times. The third time, all eight were killed! We were lucky to be let off last time!”
“So we just wait to die?” Fang Shijie said.
“Oh!”
“Haa–” Everyone fell silent, sighing at each other. I just kept listening, hoping to pick up useful information.
Over the past few days, they always found opportunities to talk about this.
Sometimes they mentioned discovering a secret passage, sometimes said the guards were fewer at certain times.
But when they went to check the next day, the situation had changed again.
[Day 7, Afternoon]
Today I was very happy. I was on the fourth floor, wiping the baseboard paintings in a corridor.
The carvings were beautiful, but given the castle’s inhabitants, it felt like flowers on cow dung.
After seven days of observation, I roughly understood that most of the castle’s residents were demons.
They looked terrifying—wolf heads, spider heads, dragon and lizard heads. Of course, there were also some resembling vampires.
They always came out of their rooms at sunset, though some emerged in the morning.
During cleaning, I encountered them twice or thrice.
Every time I saw these demons, I would stand up, bow my head, and respectfully wait for them to leave my sight.
The Tall Goblin even praised me: “Hmph, you barely have some talent as a s*ave.”
Of course, everything he said had a tone of contempt.
