“Pfft, what are you saying? We’re heading to the Black Feather Ruins. The princess brought us.” She gave a sly grin, then yanked me to her side with magic and hugged me tight.

“Uwaah! Let go! I can’t breathe! Urgh!” She had me in a vise grip, and that’s when I suddenly noticed… the count’s outfit on me…

“Anna… you… changed my clothes?”

“Yeah, is there a problem with a wife changing her husband’s clothes?” she said with an innocent look.

‘Hehe, didn’t expect that, did you? This is my real eye. The Eye of Truth. A magic eye that can see through everything in a person’s heart.’ She stared at me with those eyes, full of mischief, and it made my skin crawl.

Suddenly, she poked my chubby cheek with her finger. ‘Hehe, scared? You really are cute, Jiushi.’

“Tsk, don’t scare me like that! And can you put me down already?” I felt like I’d just unlocked a tsundere attribute. Goddammit.

‘Nope! I’m going to hold you like this forever!’ she replied.

“Sigh…” I let out a long sigh. Who knew I’d suddenly have a girlfriend the moment I left the Demon Castle? Hahaha. Hic.
