Especially Sword Sweeping the World—they wasted an extra 850,000 on that stone, giving us a sweet deal. I can already imagine their faces turning green.”
Cannon Fairy had said this hoping to cheer Ning up, but instead, Ning seemed even more downcast, even growing somewhat impatient.
“Alright, let’s discuss the equipment.” After taking several deep breaths to suppress the gloom in her chest, Ning’s face was grim, her heart full of deep worry. In the end, she could only choose to trust me.

“Let me reiterate: this operation is extremely important. No one is allowed to be late, nor leak any details of the dungeon strategy—not to your relatives, friends, or anyone else. Understood?” Dong Jun said coldly.
“Understood,” replied the warrior Jiu Ge.
“Understood,” replied the mage Chan Juan.
“Understood,” replied the warrior Xi Huang.
“Understood,” replied the priest Yun Zhong Jun.
“According to reliable information, the Hell difficulty of the Spider Cave hides an important clue related to the world’s main storyline. You can obtain it by achieving 100% completion. This intel came from a guild member who completed a 300-link chain quest… So our main objective this time is not to improve equipment or gain experience, but to obtain that main storyline clue!” Dong Jun coldly scanned the core members of the Ten Thousand Souls Hall. “I don’t want any arguments over equipment distribution to delay our clear time! If we waste time, another guild might beat us to it. In any case, purple gear can be obtained sooner or later, but the main storyline clue is unique!”
“Dismissed! Assemble at 6 PM sharp. After taking down the fourth boss on Hard as planned, we will immediately begin clearing Hell difficulty!”
“Yes!”

At the same time, Jiangu was giving orders in a video conference room.
“Assemble at 6 PM sharp. The Hell difficulty must not fail! Dismissed!”
Not only Sword Sweeping the World and Ten Thousand Souls Hall, but also Berserker Association, Arcane Radiance, Lingyun Pavilion, Zhaoge… and many others—all the super-large guilds across the entire Ader continent issued the same order!
“High-end combat power determines a guild’s status” — this was no joke. Competing for limited resources and developing high-end combat power was what every major guild poured all their efforts into.
And the Spider Cave, as the only dungeon in Ader, was naturally a battleground that every guild had to fight for!
Although none of them had cleared Hard mode Spider Cave yet, they had all defeated the third boss on Hard. Only the Spider Queen remained, and they had already devised sure-win strategies and prepared thoroughly. All that was left was to log in and start a race against time!
And after Hard difficulty came the crucial Hell difficulty!
A thousand boats vying to cross, but only one can make it!
No guild would leave even the dregs for others!
“6 PM! Drop whatever you’re doing!”
“6 PM! We must assemble! The decisive battle is at hand!”
“6 PM! Aim for Hell difficulty Spider Cave!”
“6 PM! Log in! Be the only winner!”
Everywhere, guilds were frantically preparing by any means necessary. The storm was brewing, and even before the time came, the air of Ader was filled with a chilling, murderous intent!
Yet, it seemed everyone had forgotten that small guild, Gunfire Rose—crushed by Sword Sweeping the World, its members forced to leave, a lowly ant barely surviving.
Maybe they still remembered, but thought of it as just an ant. Even if it tried its hardest, what waves could it stir?

A series of high-explosive missiles flew toward me. I quickly performed consecutive backflips to dodge, snatching a moment to meditate.
But before I could meditate for three seconds, the boss leaped high into the air and slammed down toward me. I could only awkwardly dive to the side, then turn and blow a Fairy Wind, dealing 800 damage.
After the Fairy Wind ended, I didn’t stop. Taking advantage of the boss not yet turning around, I unleashed Fine Snow, Charm’s Voice, and all other skills. Then I activated the mana recovery skill on my equipment and continued dodging the boss’s attacks while waiting for cooldowns.
Under my constant attrition, the Hard mode first boss’s HP had dropped below 10%, and it had just entered its berserk state.
My strategy was simple: dodge when the boss attacked, output when it cast skills or turned around, heal myself when low on health, and resume attrition when full, meditating when my mana was low.
It was tiring and slow, but the advantage was stability.
At first I knew nothing about the boss, but after several dangerous encounters, I finally learned every attack pattern and memorized the boss’s attack telegraphs.
Unfortunately, every time I faced danger, I had to yell “Reset dungeon!” and painfully run all the way back from the entrance, restarting with full HP.
I was forced to reset once when the boss reached 70% HP, and again at 30%.
Now at 10%, the final counterattack phase: the boss’s attack frequency skyrocketed! Damage increased several times! Even a glancing blow would cost me at least half my HP!
But my condition was terrible… My mana was less than a fifth, health at half, and both mana recovery skill and potions were on cooldown.
The mana I had left was only enough for one final push. If the boss jumped up again to carpet-bomb the whole arena before my mana recovery skill came off cooldown, I’d have to reset once more.
Thankfully, in the final 10% HP, the boss only doubled its attack frequency and power, but its attack patterns and skill frequency remained unchanged…
I applied Clear Mind to myself for continuous HP regen, then activated Earth Mastery!
Magic attack, magic defense, and movement speed all increased by 50% for 1 minute!
One minute was only enough for ten skill rotations.
With the buff, each rotation of Fine Snow, Fairy Wind, Charm’s Voice, and Holy Smite dealt 6,000 damage. Ten rotations would only be 60,000… So I didn’t force a direct fight. Instead, I took advantage of the increased magic attack to boost my healing, first topping off my HP, then outputting while waiting for my mana recovery skill to cooldown.
The strength of a mom (healer) lies in its sustainability. Other classes, lacking sustainability, have no chance of soloing: they’d die after a few AOEs. But a mom can heal itself—as long as mana doesn’t run out and the boss doesn’t one-shot, a mom can achieve absolute invincibility.
Thus, a mom with offensive capabilities was completely broken, already possessing the qualifications to solo any raid boss.
Fortunately, the first boss of Hard mode Spider Cave was exactly that kind of boss… It only required one thing from the team: that the mom’s healing power was sufficient.
There was no player on Ader with more healing power than me. With full Intelligence allocation and 1.5x stats, my healing often overflowed and went to waste.
Dragging my exhausted body, I dodged another attack from the boss. My fatigue meter had long been full. If not for my tenacious willpower, I would have collapsed long ago.
My mana recovery skill came off cooldown, and I launched another wave of damage.
And so, attacking and pausing, the attrition war finally came to an end.
The boss’s massive body crashed down. A victory BGM echoed through the cave. A treasure chest stood beside a mountain of materials, but the only thing missing was Cannon Fairy’s maniacal shouts of joy.
The victor was me.
