Chapter 20: A Moment of Embarrassment

Just a moment ago.

I rushed back to my room, my face hot and flushed, and locked the door behind me without hesitation. Honestly, this perverted sister of mine is always trying to tease me. But today, I guess it’s my own fault for opening my big mouth. If I hadn’t said those words, the conversation wouldn’t have gone there.

It’s all my fault, of course, but my perverted sister shares some of the blame too.

Forget about her. I pulled open my closet, a hint of helplessness in my eyes as I surveyed the array of female clothing, and picked out a light pastel sleep dress.

Standing in front of the full-length mirror, I noticed that my cheeks, though still slightly flushed, had cooled down a bit. But there were still traces of red lingering. With my soft, innocent-looking face, it was almost irresistible to pinch my cheeks.

Unfortunately, this adorable-looking girl is actually a boy, which is a bit of a downer. If only I were really a girl, everything would make sense.

Wait, what? I’m having strange thoughts again.

Calm down, I told myself, as I cautiously opened my locked door and peeked outside, making sure Huang Beifeng and the others hadn’t come up yet. I sighed in relief.

Seriously, Luo Ye, you’re acting like a thief in your own home. What’s gotten into you?

After passing through a few rooms, I reached the bathroom. Forget about them, I’ll just take a shower. Showers always feel so good.

After finishing my shower, I pushed open the bathroom door, still wrapped in a towel on my head, and left the bathroom. I have a hairdryer in my room, but my hair is so long, almost reaching my back, so it’ll be a bit of a hassle to dry.

Just as I was about to open my bedroom door, I heard faint voices coming from inside. I thought for a moment and realized it must be Huang Beifeng and Xin Xue. But why were they in my room? They must be looking for a sleep dress. They would definitely check my closet.

If Xin Xue sees the contents, it’s not a big deal since we organized the closet together. But if Huang Beifeng sees it, who knows what she’ll think of me!

Oh no, this is bad! I was too late. When I opened the door, I saw Huang Beifeng standing by the open closet, examining the contents.

I stood still, my gaze meeting theirs. But at this moment, I expected Huang Beifeng to say something about the clothes in the closet. Instead, her face suddenly turned red.

On the other side, Xin Xue was staring at me, her eyes filled with a barely suppressed urge to push me against the wall.

What’s going on? Why are they acting this way? I just took a shower, and now everything is different.

Just then, Huang Beifeng walked past me, holding the sleep dress that Xin Xue had picked out for her. Her face was flushed.

‘Your shoulder strap has fallen down,’ she said.

What? Shoulder strap? I looked at my sleep dress in a panic and realized that the left shoulder strap had slipped down, leaving my entire left shoulder exposed. My fair skin had a faint blush from the shower, making it look particularly alluring.

As soon as Huang Beifeng walked away, Xin Xue’s eyes sparkled with an even stronger desire to push me against the wall. No, no, I can’t let that happen. I quickly pulled up my shoulder strap and slowly walked towards Xin Xue. Even though I felt like I was walking into a trap, it was better than just waiting for it to happen. I decided to try and defend myself.

But it was a trap after all!

‘Sister, wait, what are you—’ I started to say, but Xin Xue didn’t give me a chance to finish. She pressed me down on the bed without hesitation.

What’s happening? I suddenly missed being pushed against the wall. Being pressed down on the bed was worse!

I gasped, realizing that Xin Xue’s face was getting closer and closer to mine.

Oh no, Xin Xue, what are you doing? Let me go! Men and women shouldn’t be too intimate!

As a boy, my strength was no match for hers, and I was pinned down, my struggles only seeming to excite her more. Xin Xue’s low-cut dress revealed a glimpse of her fair skin from my angle.

Oh no, my body, or rather, a certain part of it, was reacting strangely!

Oh no, her face is getting closer, what should I do? Do I have to let this perverted sister force me into doing those unspeakable things?

No, I can’t! I need to save myself, but I can’t!

Just as Xin Xue’s face was about to touch mine, the door suddenly opened with a click.

‘I’m just coming to grab something, wait, what are—’ Seeing me pinned down by Xin Xue, the scene before her was a shock.

‘Never mind, I didn’t see anything! I didn’t see anything!’ She blushed and quickly closed the door, rushing towards the bathroom sink. The image she had just seen was too overwhelming, and she needed a moment to recover.

‘Sister—’ Huang Beifeng’s sudden appearance broke the mood Xin Xue had created.

I sighed in relief, grateful that Huang Beifeng had arrived just in time. The mood was shattered, and Xin Xue let me go.

‘Hmph, hmph, hmph, next time I’ll give you a memory you’ll never forget,’ Xin Xue said as she disappeared out the door.

What? Watching her leave, I fell into a long silence. Today’s events were overwhelming, especially how to explain things to Huang Beifeng. I hoped she didn’t misunderstand anything.

I calmed myself down, trying to recover from what had just happened and think of a way to explain things to Huang Beifeng. Just as I was about to open the door, it suddenly opened again.
