“As for the leave of absence, I’ll have to trouble the student on duty.”
After greeting the student on duty, Huang Beifeng shot a fierce glare at the girl who had caused the earlier commotion.
“’Some people create their own messes, then jump out to complain. Hmph, sooner or later…’”
Seeing Huang Beifeng about to say more, I gently patted her shoulder. “’Alright, alright, there’s no need to get angry.’”
“’Tsk, why shouldn’t I be angry?! I’ve been annoyed with that Fang Kehan for ages. She’s been ganging up and bullying people since the first day of class. Now she’s even targeting you. It’s too much!’”
“Uh…”
She had been teasing me when I nearly lost my life earlier, yet now she was so furious. How strange.
“’Luo Ye, are you truly not angry? You’re nothing like your old self. The difference is truly stark.’”
Well, while there had certainly been changes, her assessment seemed a bit exaggerated.
“’Not getting angry is impossible, but after all, I’m a boy. A good man doesn’t contend with women. We don’t want to cause trouble at school, but outside, that’s a different story. And in this current appearance, things should be much more convenient.’”
“’Hmm, now that’s more like your old self.’”
“’Enough about that. It’s getting late; we need to rush back to class!’”
I pulled Huang Beifeng along, dashing toward the changing rooms. Yet, in our haste, I failed to notice a figure brushing past me—Mo Yuyan, the very person who had saved me earlier.
“’Hmm?’
I hadn’t noticed her, but Mo Yuyan had clearly taken in my current state.
‘He was fine when he returned. Has he been bullied now?’
Clenching her fist, she looked in the direction I had departed, then pressed the earpiece she wore.
“’Which class is he in?’
“’Oh? Miss, are you planning to make your move right here at school? Tsk, tsk, tsk, it looks like this will be quite an exciting show.’”
“’Time is limited. Five seconds.’”
“’Alright, alright, it’s Class Two of Senior One. What a coincidence, you two are both in Class Two, just different grades.’”
Ignoring Lan Baiyuan’s chatter, Mo Yuyan simply registered the number, then lifted her head, seemingly gazing towards the class I belonged to.
“’After school, we’ll pay a visit.’”

“By the way, Beifeng, did you bring any clothes?”
Standing somewhat awkwardly in the changing room, I realized I was left with only my safety shorts. Both my school uniform top and skirt were completely soaked.
My hair was also dripping wet, but since there was no hairdryer, I could only wait for it to air dry.
“’Of course! These were specially prepared for you.’”
“’Specially prepared? Wait, what does that mean?’”
Suddenly, a dreadful premonition seized me.
No, it couldn’t be. Yet, in the next moment, as Huang Beifeng pushed the clothes through a crack in the changing room door, I finally saw what she meant by “specially prepared.”
What in the world?!
It was a sailor uniform!
Complete with black stockings!
“’Hiss! Huang Beifeng, you utterly did this on purpose!’”
“’No, no, I absolutely couldn’t wear it!’” Just as I was about to toss the clothes away, I realized that if I didn’t change, I would be stuck in my drenched outfit.
Moreover, if I didn’t change and just went back, wouldn’t it be obvious I’d used changing clothes as an excuse to skip class?
“’You win this round!’”
Gritting my teeth, I stared at the sailor uniform in my hands. Better a sharp pain than a prolonged one—I would wear it!
As for the black stockings, I decided against them. Bare legs would suffice. It was fine.
A short while later.
A crack appeared in the changing room door. A silver-haired figure, who looked like a little loli, timidly poked his head out. Unlike when he entered, he now emerged in a sailor uniform, a faint blush coloring his cheeks.
“’Confirmed! Huang Beifeng, you did this on purpose, didn’t you?! You two are in cahoots!’”
I glared indignantly at Huang Beifeng, but she merely circled me, scrutinizing my new attire.
“’Oh, not bad at all! Heh, I thought you wouldn’t wear it, but it seems you put on the black ones after all. You say no, but your body is quite honest, isn’t it?’
“’It’s only because my legs were cold!’”
I looked at Huang Beifeng with lingering indignation, but to my surprise, she suddenly pulled out her phone and aimed it at me.
“’Can’t miss this! Absolutely cannot miss this!’”
“’Ah! How dare you secretly photograph me!’”
“’No, no, this isn’t a secret photo; it’s perfectly open and above board!’”
“’Delete it immediately!’”
“’No way!’”
And so, the two of us began chasing each other around the changing room, utterly oblivious to the passage of time.
