Even though the photoshoot was over and that waitress had signaled for us to enter, I found myself unable to move my legs—it was as if I’d lost all sensation in them.

“It’s fine. It was just a photo.”

‘Phew. What have I been thinking all this time? I’m overthinking things.’
Her words pulled me back to reality, yanking me out of the abyss, and I gradually returned to normal. So it was all in my head after all.
I had thought the first step would be incredibly difficult—after all, just moments ago, I couldn’t feel my own legs. That had made me wonder if I could even take that step.
But in the end, I took it quite easily. Before that waitress could show a puzzled expression, I had already taken my first step.

But it was too late. The moment she saw what I pointed at, without a second thought, she read the name out loud to the waitress standing by.

However, these two plush toys seemed like they could be joined together.
Taking hers and comparing it with mine, I carefully examined them and realized what was off.
The combined shape of the two plushies looked a bit like the pose Senior and I had struck earlier.
