Chapter 67: Unexpected Interruption and a Mysterious Meeting

Disaster.

Given the current situation, our posture looked absolutely dreadful.

My kneeling beside Huang Beifeng would have been unremarkable on its own. However, the moment one’s gaze landed on my hand, resting on the stockings binding her arms, an undeniable awkwardness settled. It truly appeared as though I were the one doing the tying.

Even more damning, Huang Beifeng’s lips ceaselessly emitted alluring moans. It created an illusion that we were engaged in something far more… intimate, akin to some S&M play.

Had this entire spectacle unfolded before Mu Rong Xin Xue pushed open the door, it might have been salvageable. But in the precise instant Mu Rong Xin Xue entered, she witnessed every mortifying detail.

I was utterly finished.

Now, I truly had no idea how to explain this to Mu Rong Xin Xue. ‘Surely, she wouldn’t actually kill me, would she?’

I managed a rigid smile, glancing at Mu Rong Xin Xue. She, however, seemed to utterly disbelieve the scene before her eyes, rubbing them vigorously. Then, she retreated from the room, gently closing the door behind her.

A sigh escaped me. Mu Rong Xin Xue must have doubted her own eyes, which explained her temporary retreat.

For some inexplicable reason, a particular meme kept flashing through my mind. The one about ‘This must not be the right way to open it.’

Before Mu Rong Xin Xue re-entered, I resolved to restore everything to its original state.

There was no time for a slow, careful untying. With a decisive tug, I simply tore the stockings away.

Strangely, as I tore them, a peculiar thrill coursed through me. ‘Could this be why some men enjoy tearing stockings off women’s legs?’

Though that thrill was certainly present, once I had ripped off the very last pair—the ones blindfolding her eyes—I found myself gazing at the shredded remnants scattered on the bed, feeling an inexplicable pang of regret.

Perhaps it was the thought of those stockings, never worn even once, being so carelessly destroyed, a sense of wastefulness that tugged at my heart.

Yet, the moment I remembered that Mu Rong Xin Xue had bought them, my regret significantly lessened.

‘Wait, something isn’t right.’ ‘Didn’t Mu Rong Xin Xue use my money to purchase them?’

‘Upon reflection, my heart aches terribly once more.’ A soft groan escaped me.

When Mu Rong Xin Xue pushed open the door once more, I had already moved from my previous spot and returned to my computer desk. I even feigned the act of just noticing her entry, removing my headphones to look at her.

However, Huang Beifeng, on her side, was clutching the shredded stockings in her hand, her expression utterly bewildered. It was as if she’d experienced a memory lapse, unable to recall anything that had just transpired.

“It seems I truly didn’t open it the right way just now,” Mu Rong Xin Xue mused aloud.

She cast a slight glance around the room. ‘Perhaps everything that just happened was merely a figment of my imagination.’

‘Still, Luo Ye’s current outfit seems to be that light blue dress I bought him earlier,’ she thought.

He had been quite resistant to it before. But now, it appeared he had grown accustomed to it.

“The results were quite good. I should keep up the good work.”

To change someone so drastically in such a short time, even forcing him into women’s clothing, this was, for now, the best method she could conceive.

“Therefore, on that day—” ‘No, I still hope that day never truly arrives.’

“For this purpose—” ‘I’m sorry, but she has no other choice but to proceed.’

Mu Rong Xin Xue subtly relaxed, striving to ease the anxiety in her eyes. She then refocusing her gaze on Mu Rong Luo Ye and Huang Beifeng.

“Luo Ye, Huang Beifeng, I have to go out today. I might return quite late, so just prepare dinner for yourselves.”

After uttering these words and offering them a faint smile, Mu Rong Xin Xue turned and departed.

Watching Mu Rong Xin Xue’s figure vanish behind the closed door, I pondered for a moment. ‘She’s probably meeting up with friends again,’ I surmised.

College students always have a myriad of activities. It was common for them to go out and have fun together, so I was hardly surprised.

Turning back to Huang Beifeng, I saw that she was still staring blankly at the shredded stockings in her hand.

Evidently, she hadn’t quite recovered.

I set down my headphones. Then, I walked directly to the bedside and sat down. ‘Finally, I’ve figured out how to get back at her!’

She had pranked me relentlessly. Now, I could finally get my revenge. It was a shame I’d forgotten to take a photo earlier. ‘Otherwise, if she ever tried to threaten me again, I’d have something to hold over her head too.’

What a missed opportunity.

I let out a soft sigh. Shifting closer, I moved to her side. A gentle poke to her shoulder finally brought her back to reality.

“I never would have guessed you harbored a hidden masochistic streak,” I teased.

As if my words had suddenly jolted her memory, Huang Beifeng’s face flushed crimson.

“No, no, no, absolutely not!” She vehemently denied it, shaking her head vigorously. It was as if she hoped to literally shake away all memory of what had just transpired.

After shaking for some time, she likely began to feel dizzy. Her movements gradually ceased.

“What’s wrong? Trying to forget the fact that you’re a hidden masochist?” I pressed, a mischievous grin playing on my lips.

My gaze lingered on her, a playful smirk on my face. After being subjected to her pranks so many times, ‘It’s about time I evened the score, isn’t it?’

However, what I hadn’t anticipated was that, quite suddenly, Huang Beifeng, who had been somewhat dazed and seemingly unable to grasp what she had done, abruptly seized my arm and, in one fluid motion, pinned me beneath her.

A soft ‘oof’ escaped me. This was bad. ‘Why is this not going as I imagined?’

This time, perhaps because she hadn’t controlled her strength adequately, Huang Beifeng’s face was incredibly close to mine. So close, in fact, that I could almost feel her breath upon my skin.

Our eyes met. Huang Beifeng’s cheeks were still flushed. It was unclear whether it was due to our compromising position or the events that had just unfolded.

“I nearly forgot the main event,” she murmured. “It’s time for the real business.”

“Hey, wait a minute!”

“No, don’t pull off my clothes!”

The sky was gradually dimming. In the western heavens, a crimson sun slowly descended. It cast its final, fading rays upon the earth.

Before Mu Rong Xin Xue stood an utterly ordinary hotel. However, the person she was about to meet was far from ordinary.

After all, the entity behind them should have long faded into history. Yet, it was now gradually reawakening.

Stepping through the hotel’s main entrance, she followed the instructions, heading towards room number 207. Someone was waiting for her there.

With the guidance of the front desk attendant, locating the room proved to be quite simple.

Just a few minutes later, the door marked with the number 207 appeared before her eyes.

“Here it is,” she murmured. Placing her hand lightly on the doorknob, she hesitated for a brief moment. Then, Mu Rong Xin Xue gently pushed the door open.

The instant she stepped into the room, a voice suddenly broke the silence that had previously filled the space.

“You’ve finally arrived.”
