Chapter 53: Unexpected Reinforcements

“Tsk, a gang fight, how wonderful. It’s been too long since I’ve had some action. You lot need to understand that some people aren’t to be bullied by you. What a coincidence, today I’ll get justice for all the students you’ve picked on before.”

Clutching the broom tightly, she had no doubt that if even one opponent dared to charge, Huang Beifeng would immediately pin them to the ground and give them a good thrashing.

“What, you think you can take on eight of us alone? Are you crazy?”

“Hahahaha, scared speechless, are we?”

Looking at Huang Beifeng’s stance, mocking expressions involuntarily appeared on their faces. However, observing these naive girls, I could only shake my head helplessly, for it seemed they hadn’t yet grasped the true situation.

Huang Beifeng, after all, was someone who had trained in martial arts and even won awards.

As for me, it was a pity I had no popcorn; otherwise, watching the spectacle unfold with a bag of popcorn would have been an excellent choice.

Just then, several figures abruptly appeared at the classroom’s front door. A group of youths, with dyed hair and an air of thuggery, strode inside.

“Wait, weren’t these people supposed to be kept out? Why are they here? Did the security guards at the school gate get drunk and let them in?”

Had it only been those few girls, Huang Beifeng would have had no trouble handling them. However, with the addition of these thugs and the confined space of the classroom, she found herself unable to fight freely.

“So, Luo Ye, what should we do? Can you handle those men?”

“I don’t know. It’s been a long time since I’ve fought, and with this body now… emmm, I’m not sure how much fighting strength I still possess.”

Shaking his head in resignation, he knew the only way to gauge his current strength was through real combat.

He hoped his outwardly soft and cute appearance wouldn’t truly mean he was easily subdued!

As the group prepared to advance, they utterly failed to anticipate what would happen next. Suddenly, one of the thugs was sent flying, crashing violently into the wall behind Luo Ye and her companions. He then tumbled heavily to the ground, unconscious.

Wait, what new move was that?

Not only were we stunned, but Fang Kehan’s group was equally shocked by the sudden turn of events.

“Who’s there? Come out now! Stop playing tricks. Dare to hurt my brother, and I’ll make you die!”

Yet, no one could have predicted that the instant those words left his mouth, another hand would firmly seize his head. He was then slammed forcefully onto a nearby desk.

At last, the true instigator made their appearance.

Wait, was that Senior Mo Yuyan?

How could she be here? Still, her arrival was incredibly timely. With Senior Mo Yuyan present, dealing with this group should pose no challenge.

“Since when were such undesirables allowed to enter?”

“What did you say?!”

Witnessing their comrades being struck down one by one, the thugs could no longer stand idly by. They instantly grabbed whatever they could reach and charged towards Mo Yuyan. What happened next was truly astonishing.

In what felt like a mere instant, only a fleeting afterimage remained, and seven or eight bodies lay strewn across the floor.

“Hardly a warm-up.”

Ignoring the groaning thugs scattered on the ground, Mo Yuyan simply shifted her attention towards Fang Kehan.

“It seems there’s been an issue with the security, and with the school’s admissions as well, if even such riff-raff can get in now.”

“You’re calling…” just as one girl, seething with anger, began to speak, someone beside her quickly clamped a hand over her mouth.

“Shh, say less,” her companion urged. “Haven’t you seen? Those men were utterly powerless before her. Can you really fight her? We should just run! Rumor has it, she’s even the Student Council President. Hiss, let’s get out of here, fast!”

Observing Mo Yuyan’s sudden appearance, Fang Kehan knew that today’s situation would likely be impossible to resolve.

Shifting her gaze from Mo Yuyan to Luo Ye, she spoke.

“Consider yourself lucky this time. Next time, it won’t be so easy.”

“Let’s go.”

However, just as Fang Kehan prepared to exit, Mo Yuyan’s figure abruptly appeared before her, one foot planted firmly on the doorframe. “Did I permit you to leave?”
