X
She had expected it, and reality did not disappoint her—
Bai Yu was once again gently pinned down by Cecilia.
Yet this time, Cecilia clearly had no intention of giving her even the slightest chance to overturn the situation.
Only now did Bai Yu belatedly realize that her brief moment of dominance earlier had merely been a sweet illusion Cecilia had intentionally allowed her.
The final outcome, all the same, was that she remained firmly in Cecilia’s grasp.
“I really can’t help you……”
Bai Yu covered her slightly warming cheeks, silently praying that Cecilia might show a bit of mercy later.
After all, she had to admit—she *had* gotten a little carried away just now.
“Did Your Highness enjoy yourself just now?”
Cecilia leaned close to Bai Yu’s ear, warm breath brushing her ear tip, making Bai Yu shrink her neck without meaning to.
The tips of her ears flushed red at a speed visible to the naked eye.
“I—I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
She instinctively reached for something to hide under, only to suddenly remember—they were inside Cecilia’s car.
There was nowhere to escape.
“Then I’ll begin for real now.”
Cecilia chuckled softly, fingertips brushing tenderly across Bai Yu’s cheek.
“Your Highness seemed to enjoy it quite a lot earlier.”
‘Uuuu… meow meow meow…’
Bai Yu let out a kitten-like whimper, secretly swearing she would never again trust Cecilia’s words so easily.
She simply gave up resisting entirely, deciding that in future situations like this, surrendering right away might save her energy—
After all, she never won anyway.
But Cecilia did not stop just because Bai Yu was limp with passive resistance.
She knew Bai Yu too well—
though her mouth always protested, every tiny reaction of her body was clearly visible.
Bai Yu’s cheeks were now flushed, and her breathing subtly uneven.
Cecilia knew her princess didn’t truly dislike such intimate closeness.
“Your Highness……”
Cecilia whispered, having already decided she would make Bai Yu remember this special afternoon completely.
It had already been some time since she had last seen her, and the mere thought made Cecilia’s heart ache faintly.
She knew Lu Xingyao had arrived first, but she simply couldn’t stop herself from feeling jealous.
Cecilia gazed at Bai Yu’s reddened, shy face, watching her trembling eyelashes, unable to keep her imagination from drifting—
Did Bai Yu also show such adorable expressions when she was with Lu Xingyao?
The car’s air conditioning was set to a comfortable temperature, but the atmosphere between them heated the air itself.
Cecilia thoughtfully opened the small car fridge, taking out a chilled bottle of water.
“Have some water.”
She carefully twisted open the cap and handed it over, then mischievously pressed the cold bottle against Bai Yu’s wrist.
Still sensitive from everything earlier, Bai Yu jolted in surprise, almost leaping up—
but Cecilia gently pressed her back into the seat.
Bai Yu blinked pitifully, tears shimmering at the corners of her eyes.
“You’re still… teasing me…”
Cecilia lowered her head and kissed away the tear at the corner of Bai Yu’s eye.
Then she sealed off the complaint forming on Bai Yu’s lips.
Bai Yu closed her eyes, sinking helplessly into the softness of that kiss.
Soon enough, another wave of tenderness washed over her—
and Bai Yu quickly yielded.
Time slipped by in quiet intimacy, and the sky outside gradually deepened into dusk.
Cecilia glanced at the time and realized she should send Bai Yu back.
Her princess must be completely exhausted.
After dropping Lu Xingyao off at her apartment, she brought Bai Yu home.
Bai Yu no longer even had the strength to speak.
She simply lay there quietly, her little tummy rising and falling gently with each breath.
During their earlier playfulness, Bai Yu had complained about the heat, so Cecilia had thoughtfully helped her remove her white over-knee socks.
Now Cecilia held Bai Yu’s smooth little foot in her hand, massaging gently.
Bai Yu’s slender legs and beautifully shaped feet left Cecilia unable to look away.
While Bai Yu wasn’t paying attention, Cecilia secretly slipped the pair of white socks into her bag.
She immediately felt like a creep, but… faced with this version of Bai Yu, she simply couldn’t resist.
“It’s all done, Your Highness.”
Cecilia stroked Bai Yu’s cheek and began giving her a careful full-body massage.
But Bai Yu’s body was still too sensitive—
even the gentlest touches made her let out tiny, helpless whimpers.
She was far too exhausted to make louder sounds.
She really couldn’t understand how Cecilia had so much stamina—she never seemed to tire no matter how long they “fought.”
If dealing with Cecilia alone was already this difficult…
and in the future she might also have to handle Lu Xingyao……
Bai Yu suddenly felt a wave of dread for her future life.
It seemed improving her physical endurance was now a top priority.
“Mm… mm~”
Bai Yu responded weakly.
Right now, she only wanted to lie still and never move again—her strength was entirely gone.
“Then the victory for this match goes to Your Highness. I surrender~”
Cecilia smiled, eyes full of affection.
After all, as her eternal knight, it was only natural to yield to her princess in such “contests.”
“You… you’re too mean!”
Bai Yu glared at her, full of quiet grievance.
Clearly she had been the one getting “bullied”… yet Cecilia claimed defeat in the end.
Cecilia clasped Bai Yu’s small hand, her expression suddenly serious.
“Your Highness, as promised—from this moment onward, I shall be your knight.
I will protect you forever.”
Bai Yu let out a helpless little laugh.
Of course she understood Cecilia’s feelings.
In the dream realm they had once shared, she had felt Cecilia’s resolve more clearly than anyone—
which was why she could willingly accept her without reservation.
“I know……”
Sleepiness washed over her like a tide, yet she still forced her eyes open, reaching her right hand toward Cecilia.
Even inside a car, the space was spacious enough for tiny Bai Yu.
Cecilia lowered her head solemnly and pressed a soft kiss onto the back of Bai Yu’s hand.
In this modern world, the gesture held symbolic meaning—
no witnesses needed, a vow belonging only to the two of them.
The moment the simple ritual ended, Bai Yu relaxed into Cecilia’s arms and drifted into sleep.
She was simply too tired.
Cecilia gently smoothed her slightly messy hair, her gaze soft enough to melt.
She carefully adjusted Bai Yu’s clothes, then laid her own coat over her.
The sunset filtered through the window, casting a warm glow over Bai Yu’s sleeping face, giving the girl an almost sacred radiance.
“Goodnight… my princess.”
Cecilia pressed a feather-light kiss to Bai Yu’s forehead.
Already deep in sleep, Bai Yu didn’t feel any of it—
only her eyebrows twitched faintly.
“Uuu… uu…”
Even in sleep, Bai Yu let out adorable noises, making Cecilia feel an overwhelming urge to cherish this girl forever.
“Maybe this really is the happiest moment of my life.”
Cecilia exhaled softly, overcome with emotion.
